    Do not throw out the residue left over, you can make vinegar by just adding two spoon or more of sugar and a litre of water. Keep it for 21 days stirring it every day. Amazing natural vinegar is ready for use.

    Thi is interesting, but as a Euro-American whose family has made wine, I can say that our methods are very different.
    First, we don't use grain. The main difference between wine/brandy and beer/whisky is that the former is made of fruit and the latter is made of grain--the two are segregated.
    Second, we crush the fruit first.
    Third, when we add the sugar, we don't use granulated sugar, but syrup.
    Fourth, we have developed special valves that allow the gas to be released without letting outside air in. Which means we don't have to open the jars to stir.
    Fifth, we pump the juice out using syphons, which allows the fermended juice to be removed from the large jars to the bottles with minimum of exposure to outside air.
    Finally, we allow the wine to age--sometimes for years--before we drink it.

    I wonder why it did not explode. You need to open the lid everyday to let oxygen and release the CO2. Wheat serves no purpose. Also do not add all the sugar in one go. The yest feeds on the sugar and produces ethyl alcohol. When the percentage of alcohol increases it kills the yeast. Add 50% sugar on day 1 and remaining 50% after 15 days. Sugar and grapes should be 1:1 and water should be 1:2.5. Let the grapes fermentation for 15days and then you filter it to get the natural color. No need for any other additives. Mix the yeast in warm water and sugar. Boiled water that is lukewarm is good to Kickstart the fermentation.

    I have 2 corrections : 1) you should have not filtered the mast till the last as there would be millions of dead yeast at the bottom which give a bitter taste so you could have skipped adding it by skipping the last 2 inches of the preserve . 2) Since you out in Wheat which naturally has yeast on it's outer skin, there was no need of adding the baker's yeast to the mix which gives a bread like smell. That's all ! Thanks for the recipe though

    I also wondered when I saw the gelatinized wheat in this video. How would adding raw grain induce the glycolysis process? I'm not familiar with this concept. If wheat is ground, boiled, cooled, and mixed with grapes, could it be sugarized by bacteria in the grape skin? I think mango has amylase. I wonder what grapes are like.

    • @user-qx6jp4cn1s
      @user-qx6jp4cn1s Před 2 lety

      Vikram Agawaane wine has a much lower alcohol content then hard liquor. Distillation i think is what u mean by condensation? If so thats not part of the wine process. Thats how whiskey, tequilla and the others are made.

    • @Vi-pv3xi

      The sugar was converted into alcohol by the yeast. But yeah idk how much sugar the grapes already had. If the added sugar was too much, the yeast couldn't convert all the sugar and thus left some residual sugar which increased the wine sweetness.

    Alu Puhul (botinical name - Ash Gourd - Cucurbita hispida), and Vishnukranthi (botinical name - Dwarf Morning Glory), and Kithul juggery (botinical name - Caryota urens) and Garlic, are used to make Aryuveda medicine to treat psychiatric ailments like depression. Perhaps if you can make vine from these four combined together with rice as well, it would be a very good alcoholic medicine for patients with depression. Should I blend all five together and add the yeast and leave for fermentation to take place for the vine to form - or how? Would it work? Any comments?
