The winged eagle debut: The only time hulk would rock the winged eagle with his iconic yellow Hulkamania shirt.
the eagle design on the Andre belt also shared characteristics ,mostly the duel eagles , to the AWA tag,NWA national tag ,and world class tag belts
Thank you Hazardf5. I didn't know hogan had 4 designs which were exclusive to him. Another top video.
Andre 87 belt reminds me of a belt I saw in the season mode of one of the THQ WWE games
It's a shame Andre's health didn't allow him to work more in 1987 so he could have a 2-3 month run with the "Andre Belt". I think WM3 would've been even bigger if Hogan came in as the challenger chasing his old title.
The Hogan '87 belt lost it's gold tip in June 1987 at Madison Square Garden in a Texas Death Match vs. Harley Race. Lord Alfred Hayes remarks at the end of the match that a piece of gold came off the belt.
Awesome job going through the “Hogan Era” belts. I did not know there were 2 versions of the Hogan 86/87 belts. I’m preparing myself to hear all about the different versions for the Winged Eagle in its 10 year reign.
Damn I cant wait for parts 3 and 4 specifically!
Nice video, brother! View 182
You need to team up with Dick Bourne and do a book on the WWF title.
TMI at 6:15... BTW the title at 6:15 I believe was used for ROH at one time
What's with Hogan's Picture on the Title?
Winged eagle belt hyppeee
The part about Hogan's little hulkamaniac 🤣
Are there any rumors as to why the Hogan mystery belt only lasted 2 weeks?
Is it me, or did the intro kinda had a power ranger vibe to it.
Vince doesn’t like silver titles because he thinks they don’t look as prestigious... hmm why do we have silver tag titles
because Vince doesn't care about tag teams
@@pottsie_era Sadly you’re right. I don’t understand how Vince doesn’t try and invest more into the division. On RAW, New Day & Hurt Business absolutely killed it. Vince should be praising that shit and should be wanting to see more of it from other Tag Teams. They need to build up more tag teams and give us some better looking titles because those nickels aint it.
2:44 ok I know this is supposed to be about belts and all but WTF happened to Hogan’s tooth that’s all I can focus on
8:57 That version of the belt doesn't look that bad.
This theme music is making me feel kinda racist
Then I'd suggest getting help.
