I have a Reggie Parks WWF winged eagle. It was made in 1992 so theres no serial number stamp just the Reggie Parks stamp on the leather. You got a great belt man.

Reggie Parks was trained and broken-in to pro wrestling in the Dungeon by Stu Hart in the late '50's. He became a mid-card star in AWA.

Love that belt! Not only is it a gorgeous belt but it's the only belt my top 3 favorite wrestlers of all time(Stone Cold,HBK,and Ric Flair)all had.

@Hazardf5 Do you happen to know who's currently in possession of the "actual original belt" or do you have any background on how many were made in the first place? Did each wrestler who held it keep it? as in each belt worn is physically a different belt, or did they themselves have replicas made? And also, what kind of money would an actual authenticated champion worn belt go for?
Hogan gave away several winged eagles as gifts during his title reigns, so the original dual plated one could be anywhere at this point. it could be in someone's grandparents attic for all we know. the wrestlers didn't get to keep the belt, per se, but a lot of the past title holders do have a title belt as a keepsake from the reign. the winged eagle had a few different leather cuts over the years. and a ring worn winged eagle could fetch 5 figures easily, especially depending on who held it. there weren't many ppl that even touched the title belt, let alone was the champion with this title belt version.
That belt is gorgeous, I wasn't really a fan of it but I got a good impression in a highly detailed observation, and I love how the centre plate lips off the leather where the bars are. Very nice belt.

I’ve noticed some belts have the raised WORLD relief banner and others don’t. How accurate is this to the actual TV used belts? I know they went through quite a bit of variations over the years, especially the straps but it’s hard to tell when it comes to the relief piece.
All of the ring used ones had relief pieces to the best of my knowledge

Just wondering, how do you keep your belts clean and in pristine condition? What would be the recommendation for polish?
No polish! Lol warm water and a lint free microfiber cloth is what I use. Ammonia free window cleaner also works but it it has ammonia it will screw up the plates

I don't care what anyone says. That belt is Bret Hart's!!!! Some might call it Hogan's, others would call it HBK's. Sorry but that's Bret's. He was proud to hold it. HBK called it a "piece of tin". Hogan called it "a toy" in some press conference. Bret was damn proud to have that title. For an interview he had it on his shoulder. For a match, he would wear it around his waist. Forever Bret's belt!

I have been in love with this Belt for 25 years! Absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! It's so Perfect! It contains so much prestige! It's not just the greatest Wrestling Belt of all time, but the greatest Belt in all sports! This was the Belt that you wondered how it would look on a soon to be champion. Of coarse, Hogan looked the best with this belt. But I couldn't wait to see the Belt in Austin's possession for the first time. It always bugged me that he would always just drag the belts around. But, anyways.. If the WWE brought this Belt back, it would automatically bring importance and prestige back to the WWE Championship. It looks the most legitimate compared to the others after.
By the way, I wish I could blow money on badass Wrestling Belts, lol
It did upset me when Austin won this belt and they immediately switched to the Big Eagle belt - Which I've come to enjoy more now than I did back when it was still in use, especially the Big Eagle on blue leather. Bret and Shawn really come to mind when I think back on the Winged Eagle, it always looked right on them. It never looked right on Flair as we had become so used to seeing the Big Gold on him. As for Hogan when I think back to Hogan I always think of him with the 85/86 belt.
This is definitely the belt of my youth and personal favorite, and in a close second for me would have to be the 2002 Undisputed belt. That belt should have been used a lot longer.
I like the way Flair held the Eagle, as if it was something precious. Like the way he was holding it in his post Royal Rumble '92 promo backstage. The belt reminds me of Hogan more than anyone. Yes I was equally disappointed when Austin got the Big Gold the night after winning the Belt of Belts. I always thought the belt would've fit Bulldog circa '96 as well, and Owen. Hell that Belt looks great on Anybody! Lol

I've seen almost all ur vids and this couple times now and must say this is the most precious belt anyone can hold that is a REAL belt. It is a dream of mine to capture one of these but I'm goin for the cast big eagle once there is a sale on it. And getting that releathered by Lukky

I've noticed several minute diffirences in the WWF winged eagle belt over the course of it's 10 year plus tenure. On some former champions the wings of the eagle surpassed the leather. On others it did not and the leather strap was larger. Also I believe when Bret Hart won the title he used a version with a black globe instead of blue. Do you have any information as to why these changes in the belt design occured?
Elik Anoa'i no real reason, the globe was a darker navy blue, not black, as you say a range of leather cuts. Not requested by wwe. Only changes they asked for was when it was changed from dual plated to all gold and the different coloured straps it had.
I swear the Globe looked black. Watch WM 9 when hogan took it from Yokozuna... The globe was black. I figure the different leather cuts were personalized for each wrestler.

ok so I've been doing my own research on the ecw belts and I have a question. you said reggie parks made this belt did he also make the generation 2 ecw television title belt? it is also a winged eagle belt that's why I ask. if you don't know then where do you find out who made what belts? that's the only info I can't find in my ecw research!

nowadays you could get one for about $3000, possibly more if you are wanting the WWF logo on it. I know that you could go through Reggie's website, or Millican's. But the easiest way to get to one is probably through the Belttalk website, or Belttalk on social media.

yes Reggie is still making belts, albeit at a much slower pace due to age/health. I actually think he has a couple of apprentices that assist him nowadays, and possibly do the majority of the work, with Reggie's final approval. I know Millican has a partnership deal with Reggie to some extent as well. Cost varies depending on which belt one is ordering but nowadays its generally around $5000 minimum. Demand has definitely risen a bit for these things, the older he gets as well as the fact that the good belt makers are all quitting one by one too. The ones that are left have a waiting list, years long.
