If you missed the LIVE action on Saturday, here's your chance to catch up on all the best bits from the UCI DH World Cup in Lenzerheide 2019.
With bursts of ferocious thunderstorms, scorching heat and blinding thick fog, the ever-changing track conditions made it almost impossible for riders to find their flow throughout the weekend, but when it came down to race day, it was Marine Cabirou who took the win in Elite Women's, finishing 0.3-seconds ahead of Tracey Hannah - making it Cabirou's second World Cup win of the season.
In elite men's, Amaury Pierron put down an untouchable run as Greg Minnaar failed to knock the Frenchie off the top step by 0.9-seconds. Mr. Consistency himself, Loic Bruni, took third place which means the overall World Cup Winner will be decided at the next, and final, round in Snowshoe.

I'm enjoying the women's season so far but with Atherton and Seagrave etc injured, what would all the last few DH races have been......? Bloody interesting season....Great stuff

An interesting approach to only show 4 - 5 riders. Unfortunately, this makes it look like a final between 5 people and not the 30 some which were on the live stream... Great coverage other than that!
It's a final between 5/6 people. They are better.
@@rico4974 Of course, but there were still great runs delivered by other riders as well. This is supposed to be coverage of an event, not just 6 people.
@@philheathslegalteam people don´t really care about "great"...they want the best. So people only want to see the top riders. Obviously, this has to do with mainstream and publicity. "real" fans would appreciate a wider coverage of the event, but for a lot of people it would get uninteresting.

Ha, the wheel is just spinning. The riders are trying hard to slowdown not speed up!
Alex Nicholls I agree the wheel might just be spinning but it does seem to speed up and spin the bike around. Anyway Could be coincidence but I disagree that riders are trying harder to slow down. It isn’t who can get down the hill the slowest.
A wheel doesn't just stop in an instant when it touches the ground. A wheel has some weight to it and spinning fast. The bikes these days are light so it's normal it can push a bike a bit.
I think it is simply the inertia of the wheel. You could simply try it with your own bike: accelerate the back wheel while it is not touching the ground and the let it go. I'm pretty sure it will also accelerate the bike forwards. And if you look closely you can see the wheel stop turning pretty fast as well.
tzechel I just did it. The bike did move but nowhere near that extreme. Did it a few times actually. I recommend you go try replicate the circumstances as well. Maybe you will change your mind. Anyway I am not saying it is mechanical doping. Just looked suspicious at first sight.
