- I have modified the LEGO Technic Bugatti Bolide 42151 to make it fully remotely controlled. Best of all, you can do the same modification to the Agile Blue 42162, since they are completely identical besides the color. It is extremely fun to drive around, and you should absolutely also modify your bugatti!

Really makes you wonder why Lego didn’t just make a compact 9V cell battery box in the first place.
Ikr
My thoughts exactly!
Yup, smaller box with TWO 9V batteries would be perfect.
@@KannX lego motors run at 9 volts, having 2 9v would make 18 volts requiring a buck converter, reducing efficiency and increasing size and heat
@@largewallofbeans9812 Even if you put them in parallel?
I love that you explained the battery mod, though that set really should have just came with a bloody diff from the start
I doing the same with lipo 7.4v for a while. The problem with 9v battery is that its have no big current, and it last for short time. Small lipo is the same size and have 10 times more power. Cool car ❤
I would love to do this, if i had power functions lol.
You can try something similar with control+
i probably can figure out a way to use buwizz buggy motor to realy make it fast love the design
cool
Great modification to car. Battery mod is epic.
I appreciate it!
Sick
Thanks
Wow my motorized mustang gt500 is drifting too😂 I thought it was some mistake😅
Nice!
Is there an instruction to get the engine and the front axel out ?
Interesting
How fast is it and also how did you connected it to the lego controll plus
Unbrickme becoming electrician
:)
Doesnt it skid without the differential?
i did the same with my lego jeep wrangler but one side is too heavy of the car and weight distribution is not working becuase the motor for my jeep is connected to the outer side of the wheel
Do you have a guide on how to do this?
How do you mode it? I’m a beginner.
I’m trying to make my lego technic Mclaren F1 car into a Rc car. Any advice?
You should solder those electrical connections to the PCB.
I don’t have a soldering iron
How do you motorize this?
Cool I’m back like the vids
Good to see you back!
This is really cool you can't even notice the difference! But i think you should replace the HGS (Hand of God Steering) then it will be more R E A L I S T I C
I like keeping sets as close as possible to official versions
@@Unbrickme ok understandable
How to separate battery box? I tried to get the inside part out but I couldn't
Use EXTREME force. It’s very difficult to pull them apart
can you make a fully tutorial to make this car rc
Unbrickme, I just bought the Bolide yesterday and I was about to RC mod it myself and now I have this. Coincidence??
Not a coincidence. I simply read your mind

@@UnbrickmeAnother thing I was wondering is how the third-party PF to 9V adapter would short the battery out.
Put masking tape on the back tires an drift for real!
Pls do this to the hurricane!
i modified my lego lamborgini huracan almost the same way
Do the third party adapters actually break it? They are just a direct wire aren't they?
They end up short circuiting the battery
Oh. Is the polarity incorrect
I was going to try and make one with a just 9 volt battery plug and a pf extension cable but if that doesn't work then I won't.
Also where did you get the third party one?
@@donnachaslegocreations "9v classic" or simply connecting the ± wires to the respective ends on the IR reciever will not work. I personally haven't tried doing that but from what i've seen on many online forums, everyone says that it doesn't work with the IR reciever. The 9v adapter I bought was designed to stack, so if I connected many of them together by stacking the cables with many 9v krone batteries, the voltage would increase. This is probably what causes the short circuiting. I bought it from green gecko's workshop
Ok I understand now thank you.
It's a cool mod
I need ur help my barcode faded really need to add the engine for my son 😢finding hard to get it
That's cool! How does the power and battery life of the 9v cell compare to the normal battery box?
The battery life is definitely a lot less in the 9v cell compared to 6 AA
what about using something like buwizz hub??
I tried, too big
What about to put buggy or Buwizz motor to make absolute fast?🌚
Then it would be incredible
i sub
Thank you
The old Lego differential could’ve worked
Still no gearbox
Yes
review audi pls

Oh i could add some power to that. If you need help id explain how.
