- Reviewing the one year durability of Tuxmat for a 2017 Honda Civic including one winter season in Toronto, ON.
Only had to use a dry brush and water to clean them up. Manufacturer says you can use a bit of soapy water but found I didn't need to. - Auta a dopravní prostředky
great review. Showing post winter is exactly what I was looking for
Thank you Chimaican for the time and effort.
Nice to know. I just purchased a set a couple of weeks ago for my forester. Just told my buddy with a BMW and he's ordering a set now!
I got these mats for my 2020 x7 ..fits great and looks luxurious 👍👍👍
Should have vacuumed them before removing
Best looking mats hands down
Love your review video! Do you review other auto parts?
Great review. Quick tip - soap is a thing...😂
Thanks for the review
Looking to get a second set for my wifes car. They are quite good! have in my Tesla model S now
Very helpful video. I’m considering getting Tuxmats for my Model 3.
Same here, with no site of WeatherTech releasing theirs anytime soon, these GTA winters will cause havoc on the floor mats... question for Chimaican, did you use any soap to clean that?
How are the Mets holding up ?
@@danjohnson5952 I'm loving the mats. Every time me or my kids climb into the car I feel confident that the mats are protecting the car. I love how they go high up around the edges so water, dirt, salt etc. cant sneak over the sides like most winter mats. They also look great.
let me know how you like them...I am considering the same thing. They seem great!
@@DillonLoomis I love them. They offer loads of coverage while looking great.
Oh I like these!
Excellent -- thank you.
Would have liked to see the cleaned mats back in the car.
Sorry. I had made this video mainly for a forum I'm a member of. In that discussion forum I have pictures of everything already installed so I never considered including that in the video. However, if you Google the mats I'm sure you'll find a lot of amateur pics from other owners.
What are they made of?
Could you tell me what you use to protect the seat backs from little feet?

Seat back "kick" protector like this one.
@@chimaican01 thanks.
Did the mats feel slippery when they got wet? and did the mats shift around at all while driving?
TBH, the mats do feel a bit slippery when wet, however, I ain't walking on them, so it ain't a problem. ;-)
The mats fit snug like a glove. They come with some plastic anchors but aren't really required because it fits perfectly.
Are these hard or/and rigid? They look like soft plushy leather.
The underbelly is harder and is rigid but still a bit flexible allowing it to be twisted into place. It's a molded mat, so if you pick it up, it retains it's shape. The top is pleather like, so it is a bit soft like a cushion.
@@chimaican01 will it hold up to boots and hard rigid objects without tearing up?
@@tylerwickwire1522 Been using them since 2017, no issues. The driver side has a rubber liner at the pedals for the heel.
Pressure washer would have done a good job here
