😂All these craftperson from Yannis to Duncan and Simon plus the cabinet makers, plumbers etc, (my greatest apology to anyone not included herein) as they are all the greatest masters of their crafts!!! I can almost feel the convent sigh with joy that it is coming back to its original+ build and with some really new and improved renovations! Crack On!!!

Billy, for another project. Paddy can do French interiors shutters for the kitchen. 😊 Using the same design (or another one) of these panels. French historic kitchens have those shutters. It's beautiful and so authentic with that period. Your kitchen can be stunning with this. NB.The front (panel) for the dishwasher is beautiful ❤️

First you surprise wuth your dishwasher supplied with cold water and now your electric panel can have that cabinet in front of it . Amazing how different rules for diffrent country's. Where I am the electrical inspector would not pass it . Need a 2ft open access directly infront of the panel for safe use . Some things seem easier in France. Carpenter in my province just bought an old run down parish house and is starting to make videos here too during restoration.

He has bigger steps than most folks marking off distance. Glad he's ordering extra. We walk off about a foot when measuring distances. His looked to be 36 inches due to his step offs.

Billy, a thought occurred to me today. If I were actually cooking in that beautiful - but huge - kitchen, a couple of rolling utility carts would be handy. For example, standing at the stove, I’d roll up a cart with my prepped food and whatever I’d be using there, then roll it to the sink or dishwasher, etc. Or take the cookie sheet out of the oven and roll it to the island. Or take out a big roasting pan and not be carrying it. So maybe you can find a groovy, unusual cart or two. It’d be great for rolling to the table, too. That stove is a beauty. 🤎

I adore soft close drawers and cabinets. Had a new kitchen put in 6 years ago and keep forgetting that the coffee room attached doesn't have soft closed cabinets, just drawers. Always leaving cabinets open. I need to do some retrofitting.
Grand parents shower needs a seat and a grab bar - easier to do it now. All showers should have them in my opinion not just for elderly and disabled. Great Video today. Get well soon Yannis!
Billy, I need to thank you for introducing me to osmo. I replaced a couple of poor quality, pine stairway handrails with new, red oak handrails. Instead of painting or staining them, I used clear osmo wood wax finish oil. And they are beautiful. Thanks mate!

Love your vision for the convent. I look forward to attending a retreat in this beautiful space. A thought: the library is my favourite vision for the convent and aligns so well with retreats. Participants love to read and buy books related to the subject of their retreat. Could be interesting to have sections of the library dedicated to repeat retreat themes: self development, emotional therapy, painting, birding etc. With a special or iconic subject matter book profiled that Gwendolyn and her retreat leaders may suggest.

Nic panels and handles but they have knob that overhangs the mounting post. I have the same thing it will catch your pockets loose clothing very annoying but looks nice.

Beautiful fronts on the cabinets. Have a look at "library handles" for the drawers, and the dishwasher has the bar, making it more distinguishable.
