    About Youngsang Cho
    Youngsang Cho is Organic Farmer. Cho learned Natural Farming from his father Hankyu Cho(Korea Natural Farming, KNF) who advocated environmental agriculture since the 1960s. Cho family has been organic farming for the third generation. I used my slow cooker and made 4 qts. I have a white problem on my remaining tomatoes, cucumbers, squash and wanted them dead before frost hit. I never been able to stop them before. I mixed the JHS + JWA. I work 10 hours a day so not much time for spraying. After two treatments they are almost all gone so I did a third. usually after three days using normal sprays they are back worse then before. Thank you again.

    Jadam, pg 284 talks about soaking tobacco leaves for 15 days in water. Does this need to be done in an airtight container?
    I am a few days into soaking in a breathable jar and there's a good amount of microbial growth on the top layer.
    Are these microbes eating up the jhs material ? Or is this normal and i just skim off and strain at day 15?
    Also, after day 15 is there a storage life on this at all since it hasnt been sterilized by boiling ?

    • @JADAMORGANIC
      @JADAMORGANIC  Před 3 lety +1

      no. It does not have to be an airtight container.
      If you add a lot of cigarettes, the growth of microorganisms becomes difficult.

    Hello. I am a flower and veggies farmer in Canada and this is my first year of farming. I do not use any chemical fertilizers/pesticides/insecticides and I have a major tarnished plant bug infestation. They have destroyed my broccoli, eggplants, peppers and dahlias, zinnias, snapdragons by eating the flowers, the buds and the new growth. I have applied several times a spray made out of Jerusalem artichokes and JWA ( the ration was 4 oz of JWA and 8 oz of JHS to one gallon of water). However, I see absolutely no improvement... the bugs are still there , more vicious that ever. I am dealing with this situation for more then 6 weeks now. Did anybody here ever dealt with this insect and managed to keep it at bay successfully? Thank you so much!

      You can adjust the interval according to the pests and diseases, while using the 7-day interval as a standard.

    Hello, I have been making JHS for some time and the only problem I encountered is the preservation of it. After boiling the herbs I pour the JHS still almost boiling in glass jars which I then turn on their side so the content can be sterilised (if that is possible). However after opening one of my jars I found that the JHS was spoiled. I wonder If I could use some chemical preservatives such as those used for food preservation for convenience so perhaps I can store all my JHS in just one, say 30 L container. Have you tried that? Do you think that the JHS would loose its effectiveness by using chemical preservatives? I thank you so much in advance for your constant help!!!!
