I like your appreciation for the modern buildings - some are quite striking especially when illuminated at night. With all the green spaces, trees and foliage everywhere, I am puzzled as to why there are no birds. One croaking city crow, a couple of finches and maybe one distant sea bird. Where are the flocks of pigeons in the city, songbirds in the park trees, seagulls all over the ocean areas? It seems almost unnatural to see so few birds. Are they uncommon? Please explain.

Good point!
Personally I know Yokohama pretty well and often come here to chill. I can confirm that there are pigeons,crows,seagulls and other birds that fly and hang around this part of the city. However, I have no clue or know the exact reason why there were no birds chirping, flying around while filming this video.
