What a HARD WORKING Team you have. Yanis goes at it like a man driven, so much energy. He seems much less shy. Rick and your Dad round thing out nicely making everything flow so well. Great progress in 1 day!!!!
As a female with no restoration abilities to my credit, I’m so addicted to watching you all renovate the convent and the chateau I think you are all just amazing.
All Yannis needs to learn now is the admin side of a contracting business and you will have set him up for life. While working with you he has learned so many aspects of the building and construction business. Well done.
It is wonderful to see the window area reopened.. and it’s also great to see your Dad .. Rick and Yannis aren’t wasting any time getting the rooms stripped back… Great workmanship!!
Love the shot of dad through the hole in the wall, supervising outside! Precious. Your dad reminds me of my grandfather. A very hard worker and at the end of the day when he sits down, falls asleep right away. ❤
I was always taught to say, "Service Floor" instead of basement, if that was where the help worked. A basement wouldn't have kitchens, pantries, sculleries, wine cellars, etc
Glad to see work beginning again on the convent although I enjoy the progress on the chateau as well. Also, like the eclectic mix of music you use. Varied and keeps us entertained as well as engaged. Thanks!
Wow! 👏 It's amazing to me what the right men and tools can accomplish. It was fun watching you all bring the house down, and the music was perfect this time in matching the vibe. Bravo guys!
Wow, Rick smashing the plaster over the damp! Its such a lovely project. You're quite right not to keep those exposed walls. That would be inviting damp. Crack on the boys crack on. !!!! Big hugs to all the crew. ❤
My lord, Yannis is relentless & strong... just... wow. Plenty of hard work to go around for sure. Rick contributes so much with his hard work & solid ethic, and the hours your dad has put in over the years both shows & impresses. Billy, you are always a favorite as well. You have put in the lion's share of hours here and I love both what you are doing & how you are getting it done (as well as how you share it with us). Thank you again!
Now ur talking with this music..love it..and bless yanis.he really goes at it.and u too billy, your taking gutting a building to a whole new level lol 🇬🇧
Team Demo is doing a great job!!! It is amazing the amount of work that can be done and gets done. Watching Rick and Yanis and your dad work to remove the stone walls and all the paneling/plaster is watching them work together is truly amazing. Can't wait to see the Chareau's kitchen get done as well. Have a great day
Glad to see the progress on the Refectory and upstairs! Glad to see Rick & Yanis wearing their protective gear. CZcams has been showing me some older videos of yours, Billy, and you once told Simon if he didn't wear the reflective vest he had to go home. He almost went home, but everyone put on their reflective vests to clear out upstairs. Where were those vests today? I waved at your dad, too!
Your music is the best. Gosh, the demolition is coming along quickly, so much has gotten done😳A shame about the paneling, hope there is enough for one room.
Always happy to see new work. The music brings me back to the American commercial " Excuse me , do you have any grey poupon?" LOL, just had to say that. Ha,ha. 😂❤
There is a CZcams episode from Schoolhouse Homestead where they are renovating an old schoolhouse into their home here in the US. The interior walls of one of the rooms has been cleaned and they found products that seal and keep the dust away if you are interested.
Wow!! I don’t see how ya’ll can move for a week after a day like this!! My arms & back would hurt so bad, I’d be incapacitated!! Ya’ll are strong!! Great job.
Hi there great video as usual 💕 I love how Mick always wears his work overalls my father was just the same . I could never persuade my husband or son to do the same . I guess it’s a generational thing. 😃
Way to go Yannis ! Too bad there are not 10 of you. Thank you for playing the Minuet from String quintet in E Major Billy- Have not heard that in a long time. One of my favorites. :D Need more work music. :D Take care and Stay Safe guys !
It's funny looking at this video while being just a short drive away from you, in an hotel room in Mayenne ! As I was looking at maps of ancient celtic and roman remains of the region in the Jublains museum earlier today I wondered if you had anything in either of your properties, given that a number of elements were found in and around Ermée !
Honestly, when he first showed up, I thought ,"what's the deal here". He looked so small and skinny and weak...but he obviously has determination as over the course of his stay he has packed on some serious muscle and developed some serious skills... he is a dynamo.
Loved the music. Not that I didn’t love it any other time. It just gave me the feeling that Rick was cutting through butter instead of chiseling through concrete and stone. Very nice.
Listening to a Minuet From String Quintet In E Major... watching a hole being smashed through a stone wall. I love these vlogs 😂 never dull, that's for sure. Cheers guys
Fantastic work and even more fantastic to see the removal of the half window - what on earth were the previous owners (whoever they were) thinking by putting a half window in - most bizarre. Love the phrase "convent is going on a diet" brilliant along with the "smiling beam" - keep them coming. Love this channel always so interest and fabulous music. Well done all.
Watching all the drilling and demolition with the soft playing music was really soothing. Or maybe it was watching all the hard workers putting in a hard day's work! Well Done!
#1 Yanis is a BEAST with the demolition. #2 I can't wait to see the chateau's kitchen. 3# Hello Billy's dad. I love seeing you wave through the rubble.
Thankyou Rick for holding the scaffold for Yannis!!!! Billy, it has to be said, You could not have found a better group of men to help you!!!!!!!!!!!! To all of you, WELL DONE!!!!
That first piece of music just immediately made me think of bugs bunny? 😂 where he’s a maestro? I’m going to have to look it up 😂 but that’s what immediately jumped in my head 😂
Thank you Billy . And your crew of amazing Craftsman. . You truly aspire all of us . to take on this task . Renovating a beautiful convent . You remind me of. The crew of this Old House that I watched every single episode for the last 45 years thank you thank you thank you. And crack on.
I once lived in a Victorian house in London and the upstairs residents washing machine leaked and all the water disappeared into the floor. Our kitchen ceiling subsequently bulged out and soon fell down. When Yanis was taking down the ceiling it reminded me of all the stuff that came down from the ceiling.
Yannis is an "Ninja Warrior Hard Worker" ~ Strong & Mighty ~
Absolutely!
Smol
Can`t believe actually waved back to Billy`s Dad! My hubby thinks I`ve gone loopy..
I did the same!
I waved too!
Yannis moves with the music!!!! What an incredibile boy.
I did the same 👋🏻👴🏻👋🏻
So did I!! So am I! 😂 👋🏻
There's a hole in your convent, Dear Billy, Dear Billy. There's a hole in your convent, Dear Billy, a hole!
With what shall we fill it…..
And clearly a window like the others and not a door (too high on the outside) 😊
😂🤣
LOL😂😂😂
Yanis has the strength of ten, he is like a prize whippet and such a hard worker. He deserves a pay rise and a permanent contract.
At this rate he will soon have his own project on CZcams
Yanis is a beast! He has more strength than it seems.
-10
Yanis is a one man dynamo!
@@bobanderson9264 dynano
Rick and Yanis in "beast mode" taking down walls and ceilings! Progress is unbelievable in such a short time! Crack on!
Yanis has so much energy when tackling a job
What a HARD WORKING Team you have. Yanis goes at it like a man driven, so much energy. He seems much less shy. Rick and your Dad round thing out nicely making everything flow so well. Great progress in 1 day!!!!
Ah...Boccherini's minuet....The Lady Killers (1955)....Yannis is turning into a new demolition man !
Ahhh, yes...The Lady Killers. Mr. Pancakes
As a female with no restoration abilities to my credit, I’m so addicted to watching you all renovate the convent and the chateau I think you are all just amazing.
Have you tried demolition? No skill needed and it's really fun (as well as dirty, hard work)!
All Yannis needs to learn now is the admin side of a contracting business and you will have set him up for life. While working with you he has learned so many aspects of the building and construction business. Well done.
That Yanis is a machine!
Nobody works harder than Yanis !! Having him on your team is a keeper !!
Your dad is a beast !!!! He’s going to live until he’s 100 + being this active and so strong.
If you think about it - his father was/is activly renovating his new home. Great Genes.
The fact that Grandfather was helping as he could in the little house reno....says that the gene pool has treated this family well.
Rick, Yannis, and Mick make a fine team! “Many hands make light work.” You are a blessed man, Billy Petherick! ❤
It is wonderful to see the window area reopened.. and it’s also great to see your Dad ..
Rick and Yannis aren’t wasting any time getting the rooms stripped back…
Great workmanship!!
The dampness is probably why the wooden panels are warped
Yanis has really found a home from home with the Pethericks. They're serving him well and in return he does his absolute best for them.
Rick has a beautiful smile
Oh yes.
Watching The Pethericks is like Christmas, always opening something and it's always a surprise what you get ❤❤
Oh Yannis, the energy of youth. You're like a little machine. Love the music.
Nick is always so cheerful while he works, we appreciate that!😊
His smiles and dimples 😂
It’s Rick 👍🏼
We waved to Dad through the wall.
The room is unrecognizable now. What a change!
Love the shot of dad through the hole in the wall, supervising outside! Precious. Your dad reminds me of my grandfather. A very hard worker and at the end of the day when he sits down, falls asleep right away. ❤
Yanis is small but mighty 🤩🤩
You're NEVER alone at a 250 year old convent, Billy! Embrace the spirits that are protecting their forever home. CRACK ON!
Jackhammer with Boccerini: loved it! 😂
Go Yanis, he figured out a way to destruct faster and smarter. It is easier to pull down then upward. Great job everyone
I was always taught to say, "Service Floor" instead of basement, if that was where the help worked. A basement wouldn't have kitchens, pantries, sculleries, wine cellars, etc
Yanis is a beast at tearing stuff out. Billy, it will look fabulous when it's completely finished.
The room just seems so much brighter.
Eat, sleep, demolish and repeat! Yannis and Rick will be happy to see the weekend and Billy as well. Amazing progress in a short time. Crack on! 🙏🏼❤️
I think another job on the list should be to inspect the roof above Sadie’s apartment. There is too much damp and mold in that top floor.
Massive work all of you!! 🎉🎉🎉
Thank you for opening that window! It’s been bothering me for ages!
I loved your choice of music for bringing the wall down
I'm with Rick, don't do spiders and the music that came to mind for me was Miley Cyrus - wrecking ball with Yannis.
Yannis is a force to be reckoned with…and bless you all for teaching him so well!!!
Glad to see work beginning again on the convent although I enjoy the progress on the chateau as well. Also, like the eclectic mix of music you use. Varied and keeps us entertained as well as engaged. Thanks!
My husbands response to the sagging beam is to turn it upside down and let it straighten itself back
Wow! 👏 It's amazing to me what the right men and tools can accomplish. It was fun watching you all bring the house down, and the music was perfect this time in matching the vibe. Bravo guys!
Im in awe of your hard work, boys. You must all be exhausted. 😊🏴
Rick and Yennis are like two bulls in a China shop. Great job
It's so nice seeing those stone walls
Wow, Rick smashing the plaster over the damp! Its such a lovely project. You're quite right not to keep those exposed walls. That would be inviting damp. Crack on the boys crack on. !!!! Big hugs to all the crew. ❤

I was fully expecting Michael to be dancing a minuet either with Yannis or the pig when the lights went up at the start of this. Yannis knows no fear!
Papa Petherick supervisor! The demolition stuff seems to be his favorite!
I bet Yannis and Rick have very tired arms at the end of the day.
That wall looks like it was a fireplace.
I know it’s all hard work but the team makes it look so easy. Well done crew.
Love to see strong man work. Bless you all.
Now ur talking with this music..love it..and bless yanis.he really goes at it.and u too billy, your taking gutting a building to a whole new level lol 🇬🇧
Love the music and the work
Your dad is the star on this blog he could teach us all a lesson age is just a number ❤x

Great progress this week 🎉🎉🎉🎉 well done, all of you hard working Crack on team 👏
Be sure and also watch Sadie and Yanis work on her apartment at the convent @Sadie in France.
Not worth a watch as Billy's channel!
A small project, it’s feminine, colourful and entertaining in a different way. A great example of The Petherick family work ethic x
Never a dull moment with this group of talented people. Love your channel, love the camaraderie with all the people involved with your Reno's.
Always happy to see new work. The music brings me back to the American commercial " Excuse me , do you have any grey poupon?" LOL, just had to say that. Ha,ha. 😂❤

Same here , that’s why I got a jetted hot tub soak in. It helps me keep moving 😊
Hi there great video as usual 💕 I love how Mick always wears his work overalls my father was just the same . I could never persuade my husband or son to do the same . I guess it’s a generational thing. 😃
Papa Mick!

Hey Billy, can I borrow Yannis for a weekend, got a job coming up that is perfect for a guy like him! Lol
Loved the music. Not that I didn’t love it any other time. It just gave me the feeling that Rick was cutting through butter instead of chiseling through concrete and stone. Very nice.
Impressive progress!
Listening to a Minuet From String Quintet In E Major... watching a hole being smashed through a stone wall.

That's so satisfying to watch the old plaster come off the walls, it's like peeling a sunburn!
Yannis I need help if Florida. Winters are beautiful in Florida!… I make couscous
Very satisfying seeing the old plaster come off the walls. I particularly love Rick for his cleaning/tidying
Watching all the drilling and demolition with the soft playing music was really soothing. Or maybe it was watching all the hard workers putting in a hard day's work! Well Done!
It would be great to do this at the château for the basement kitchen excavate the soil and put in windows and french doors
Wow, when you give Yanis the right tools for demo, he’s a man on a mission! Great job Yanis and to everyone else!!
Fawlty towers music 😂.
you should get a large pump action mister so someone can be spraying down the plaster with water to reduce the dust in the air.
Billy, that wall with all the plaster it's beautiful maybe you could point it and bring it to its original time. ❤
Yanis is not scare of giving it some wellie thats for sure. Nice work done again😘
#1 Yanis is a BEAST with the demolition. #2 I can't wait to see the chateau's kitchen. 3# Hello Billy's dad. I love seeing you wave through the rubble.
Yanis is fearless when it comes to working on scaffolding and the lift. I am amazed at his sense of balance.
The guys are the hardest working gentlemen I’ve ever seen! Their arms have to be so tired at the end of each day! Fantastic work!
Thank you Billy and team ! So tired now watching you work.
Thankyou Rick for holding the scaffold for Yannis!!!! Billy, it has to be said, You could not have found a better group of men to help you!!!!!!!!!!!! To all of you, WELL DONE!!!!
Thank you for sharing, progress is amazing 😊
Well done. Also, you really lucked out finding and hiring Yanis. He is doing an excellent job!
That first piece of music just immediately made me think of bugs bunny? 😂 where he’s a maestro? I’m going to have to look it up 😂 but that’s what immediately jumped in my head 😂
Awesome stuff Billy, your tight knit team has accomplished so much in such a short time! Nice to see you too!
Love seeing dad
Thank you Billy . And your crew of amazing Craftsman. . You truly aspire all of us . to take on this task . Renovating a beautiful convent . You remind me of. The crew of this Old House that I watched every single episode for the last 45 years thank you thank you thank you. And crack on.
These old radiators would be a nice piece of up cycling furniture like a center table or a room divider ow even a wall decor. Great job today!!!!
You guys work so well as a team. It's great to see - well, watching other people work is always great!
Whoa! When Yanis goes he really goes. Fizzing with energy!
In the future, Yannis should have his own company, and call it "Dancing Demolition" !!!
