In my community there are only 2 homeless on the street that I have seen.
Probably more but we don't see them. I learned a lot from you.
I went to the dollar tree and picked up the items I saw in your vehicle.
I handed them to a homeless gentleman today.
I noticed another person from my community offer to buy him a meal at a donut shop. Thanks for helping me to know what to provide for these citizens.

Very nice he takes that homeless guy shopping at the “Dollar Store”. Absolutely brilliant! You don’t have to be old, just whenever you have the means to give. Not everyone is as healthy as Michael at his age. Sometimes it’s not just helping by purchases, it can be helping out a single parent with free babysitting, yard work and shoveling snow for an elderly person, giving money to the next person in the checkout when they don’t have enough to cover their purchase, being kind to others especially when they are being bullied or have no friends or being nice to the person at work who is not the thinnest, prettiest, has foot odor issues or body odor issues or severe oily skin. If you have any mechanic experience, working on cars for those who can’t afford to pay a shop.

Love getting ideas for blessing bags watching these .The best part of these Michael is you always get there name make sure they know yours and your there to help .Love you know them by name and always go back to check on some of these encampments. Homelessness is everywhere I’m on Vancouver island bc on the west coast and so many complain about all the homelessness rather then trying to be part of the solution of helping rather then complaining.Bless you sir🙂your amazing .

You are a great person for doing this. As a foreigner tuning in: what a sad of a state to see a developed country, USA, where homeless people's only resort to get by and survive is based solely on the kindness of some individuals like you. Homeless people seem to be treated poorly there and deserve better. Sad, but more props to you for doing what you are doing and taking the basic care of fellow human beings.

WhatATypicalTime I’m curious, do you have homeless people in Sweden? Do they get help from the government? I’m in the US and it’s a terrible problem in some areas here. Very sad.
@Susan B we surely got homeless people too. Where there is inequality you are bound to find homelessness. But I would say there are more preventable programs in place here. Unemployment benifits for when you are between jobs, higher social security, subsidies if your rent is too high, tenants union (for not getting screwed over by a landlord), close to free medical care (which do include mental health/addicition treatment).
All the aspects above can lead you in a bad path and worst case make you homeless, but since we have plenty of different government programs that acts as a safety net (which aren't perfect by the way and should be expanded according to me) less people seem to be prone to end up homeless as in the USA.
@@whatatypicaltime2412 thanks for replying. We have many programs here too but somehow so many seem to fall thru the cracks and I often wonder why. It seems to me most of them are either mentally ill or have substance addictions. It’s distressing to see people living this way. There’s a tremendous problem in Los Angeles, California…there are even CZcams videos showing the extent of the homeless population living in tents along the streets..it’s insane.
