Great review, good instructions and shows what you what is happening. No accent making it so much easier is a cherry on top. The ten minutes and downloading all that stuff is so overwhelming sometimes. I tried downloading 7 zip or whatever and wasted 30 minutes trying to get that to work so i could get another thing to work on my pc lmao.

Thank you, it helped me to get it back to working again! I used to have DS4W on and it was working for some time and then it stopped and even though the pc would always pair up with the controller it was over my head to get it fixed.

I don't get it, I connect my controller via usb but the DS4 application says "no controllers connected" why??
If you still havent found a fix, First make sure you downloaded all other requirements to make sure ds4 actually works. If that doesnt helo, change what port of your pc or laptop the usb is plugged into, for some reason sometimes the ports dont work with certain usbs
@@fatal9913 like pierpaolo, I cannot get it to work. I even bought a wireless dongle to see if that was the issue, and it did not help at all. The thing is, I had my PS4 controller working before I moved in 2022 and it was working just fine with Steam without the program. But after I moved and set everything back up, Steam will no longer recognize my controller. I have even tried a different PS4 controller to see if that was the issue, and it is not. I know my ports work and Steam will recognize both my wife's Xbox and Switch controllers, but not mine.
I really am at a lost at what to do.

@@kubby3558 there was an option that allowed the DS4 to recognize the PS5 controller during the installation and I left it unchecked....that's so

@ChupacabraTutorials still having trouble connecting ps4 to pc (my pc has no bluetooth so im using wired) i tried hard resetting my controller, tried different usb, but it still doesn't work. when i plug in my controller it lights up yellow for a short moment and thats it.

Followed the steps (using the wire option) yet it doesn't work, my controller just lights up yellow.
try changing your usb cable, my previous usb cable doesnt let me detect the controller for some reason but now after changing its fine and detected.

whenever I move or press any of the buttons on my controller my frames drop?
bro ion know if you know the fix to my problem but ds4 windows keeps identifying my controller to be dead and have zero battery percentage even when i charge it, and the problem gets resolved when i re install ds4's latest version it works as normal. You got any idea on how to fix that?

PLEASE HELP I’m now trying to connect back to my ps4 but now my controller wont connect back to my PlayStation, I have tried resetting controller and I have tried using a cable but nothing has worked
If you go look up the process of pairing a controller back with your PS4 is literally the following:
1) Plug your Controller into the PS4 via the Cable that Came with it (A USB Cable that is capable of transmitting data, some only charge)
2) Press and Hold the PlayStation Button in the center of the controller
3) it should pair. In the example they give on the site the playstation is turned off when you start the process but it shouldn't matter.
@@ChupacabraTutorialsI have already tried this and hasn’t worked, even tried pushing that button inside the controller you need with a pin and still hasn’t helped, any other solutions you think may work?

this is a great video, thanks. However I've noticed that every time I connect my PS4 controller, the mouse cursor begins to bounce all over the screen. I opened a game and realised the controls were switching between keyboard controls and the ps4 controls. Please help! Is there anything I haven't checked. Any setting I haven't done. something!... Anything you can do to help me will be greatly appreciated.

I don't have a bluetoth card thingy on my pc
When I did all the steps, and checked DS4 Device Support -> Close = nothing happened. Also, my controller disappeared from the list. Why? Windows 8.1 unsupported? = YES, worked with version 3.2.5 if someone deals with the same issue. Conclusion: at the end of the day, the point of it all, vibration, doesn't work.

7:00 It just says no controller connected. A DS4 controller is connected but what do I press on it exactly? The icon makes its light blink blue for a while and then go yellow. Share seems to do nothing
I had the same issue, forgot to pair my controller once I did it worked. Try going into Bluetooth settings add Bluetooth or other device and click Bluetooth once it’s searching hold down the ps button and share to pair your controller.
I might have not did the correct steps for PS Remote Play - am I missing anything?
