If you don't hear sound after connecting your controller, Windows changes your default sound output to the headphone jack on the controller. Just go to your sound settings and change the output device for "Wireless Controller" back to your speakers / headphones.

Yo @TheHowToGuy123, Can i use this program and still hear sound trough my controller? because i use my controller to get sound and mic to my pc, But if i use a app like this i dont have any sound or mic but the controlles does work but then i dont have any sound.
unfortunately for me, windows does not set my default sound to the controller, infact it doesn't show up as an audio device at all. Can't seem to get it to recognize it as such.
i'm sorry man but i need to ask you how to disconnect it from windows, cause i need it to play on ps4, can you please help me?
Uum mine is not working on bluetooth i have watched trough the video multiple times but it just dosent work it lights up with white only and dosent show up on gamepad tester or on ds4 dose anyone know the problem

Came back to say that installation was seamless. Straight forward and without issue. Hopefully, the DS4 lasts me as long as my DS3 did.
Hey when I try setting the ps4 controller as xbox 360 for less input delay, the controller doesn't work at all.

@@bboynitro Are you using DS4 windows (github.com/Ryochan7/DS4Windows/releases) There's a few videos on how to set it up. It's fairly easy and once you do, all you'll have to do is keep it updated.
@@siemprepalante773 it works now for some reason i was having the problem for like 3 days but now it just lets me use bluetooth on playsation games without the adapter LOL

For anyone who is having trouble getting the controller to work in SWTOR. Once you have completed all the other steps and got the controller to appear and the key mappings. try running DS4 as admin. Because it works while SWTOR is minimized but not when it is restored. Run as admin. You welcome.

hey when i disconnect my controller i have to go through the whole process again that is remove the controller from the bluetooth menu and reconnect it. any fix? I am using a bluetooth 2.0 device
i have the same problem here. Once it connects works fine but if i turn it off or disconnect the controller from the bluetooth it won't connect by it self when i turn it on. and i have to remove the device and start the process again. over and over every time i want to use the controller. Anyone??? HELP Please!!!

@@arie6004 Same, tried downloading drivers, connecting with USB, bluetooth, resetting controller etc. Really annoying since I have a fractured shoulder and cannot play dark souls 3 on keyboard. Shame will have to settle for lets plays haha
Edit: also tried steam big picture but the controller is not even being detected it is NOT a hardware issue since it PS4 controller works with PS4.

How do you fix it ?
When youll flip your controller backwords, see the top right screw there besides it there will be a small hole
Just use some pin or toothpick to press it in(there is a button inside it). Just it a minor push and you'll feel a click.
What this will do is it will factory reset your ps4 controller.
Press and hold ps4 button(home button) and share button for 3 seconds until your controller starts flashing.
Hopefully ps4 controller will now show up when you'll go into Bluetooth settings and add device.
@@khawaja_taha_ Sadly, that didn't work. I think the problem is either with my PC or my adapter since I've tried to use other controllers and they too didn't connect to my PC, but when I use my laptop which has built-in Bluetooth, the controller connects with no issues. I think I'm just gonna try my luck with a new Bluetooth adapter. Thanks for the reply!

@@duzhn try just plugging it in and then leaving it without touching it, with ds4 windows open, but make sure the problem isnt with ds4 windows first
