  • In this weeks video, Dan and Joss go head to head trying to get the best photo from a Kodak Funsaver and a Fujifilm Quicksnap, while also comparing the results from both. We love using disposables and are going to keep some in the office from now on to capture those memories! What are your thoughts on these cameras? Have you used a disposable camera before?

    I’m planning on using a disposable camera. How did you get them digitalized? just shoot a pic with your phone? Wanted to know how to do it thanks

    • @OttrWorks
      @OttrWorks  Před 3 lety +5

      Hi Edgar! You'll first need to find somewhere to get it developed, if you're in the UK I recommend 'Take it easy lab' or 'Snappy Snaps'. Just search film developing and see what's close to you. Most places also offer scanning of your film which will then provide you with a digital version! It's best to get it scanned for the best results rather than taking a photo with your phone. Hope this helps :)

    Hi, I’m new into disposable Camera so i want to ask, if i open the camera but I didn’t used it till the end and want to save it for other time, so it’s okay for me to save it for other time after opened it?

    • @OttrWorks
      @OttrWorks  Před 3 lety +5

      Hey Amrh! Yeah that should be absolutely fine! Film usually last a couple of years. So you can get shooting on a disposable, leave it for a while, and then pick it up again no problem! We obviously shot all in one day, but there is no harm using the same camera over a few months.

    Question: do u need to buy film for Ilford Ilfocolor Rapid Retro Single Use Camera 27 exp
    in order to take photos? Sorry ive never used a disposable camera before. What film do i need for this type of disposable camera?

    • @OttrWorks
      @OttrWorks  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi! If it is a single use/ disposable camera, then the film will be inside when you buy it. So, there is no need to buy anything extra. Hope that helps!

      Hey Kywaun, we used flash on some inside the abandoned building and the office, but outdoors were natural light.

    • @OttrWorks
      @OttrWorks  Před 2 lety +2

      It really depends on your style! If you want warmer/ typical vacation style pictures - we'd suggest the Kodak! If not, the Fuji is a solid option with those bluer tones! Hope this helps

    • @madisontnn

      Bring it to London drugs. They will develop them for you. You can choose to get them digitally sent to you by email or physical copy :))

      @@madisontnn This is WRONG and it costs you more, the camera has a flap at the bottom that you can open.

    • @amik4433
      @amik4433 Před rokem

      @@sbcinema absolutely do not open it. You're gonna ruin your film as you expose it to light, that's why you leave it to the professionals. And also, people who just use disposable cameras for fun are not expected to have their own lab at home and know how to do it.

    • @sbcinema
      @sbcinema Před rokem

      @@amik4433 I'm a professional :-) the film in such a camera gets wound back into the film casette when the picture was taken, so you can open it without hesitation when the last picture is taken.
      ( I also reload my camera with new film and use it several times )
      If you are interested I can make a video about it

    • @OttrWorks
      @OttrWorks  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi! We got our photos developed by a company called Snappy Snaps. You should just be able to find your closest by doing a quick google search for film developing labs. If you're in the UK, we highly recommend, Take It Easy Lab. Cheers!
