I'm gaming the Titleist TSR2 driver, which is easily the best driver I have ever played. I used to play TaylorMade but found them to be less forgiving and too busy on the crown. Love the simplicity of the Titleist drivers, as they have that very classic look, and they do perform!

How can you have a best driver of 2024 in June ffs , why is every club review brilliant and a “might go straight in the bag “ . There’s been virtually no change in tech over the last 3 years and now we’re seeing a Taylormade Sim 2 from years ago out performing all the new stuff 🤷🏻‍♂️

SIM2 was and is an excellent club, holds its price because its the corgis conkers, i had the need to change driver, got fitted and tested at three different places, each put me in the AiSmoke Max, and because of contacts i got it at £399. That’s more than i could buy a SIM 2 for, but i really like the shaft, and its working. I am not suggesting my driver is the bees knees, it’s just doing what i want it to do. If i had a functional SIM2 would i change, not a chance.

Replaced my 2012 driver with a TSR2 11 degree driver last year and love it. Tried all the latest 5 woods in the shop a couple of months ago and finished that test asking to try a TSR2 5 wood. The shop eventually found one for me after saying they didn't have one at the start of the test. The TSR2 gave me more clubhead speed, more distance and more consistent strikes than any of the other newer clubs tested. The difference was astounding and the choice very easy

Was custom fit in 2022 for TSR2 which outperformed my 2016 M2. Late last year I was custom fit for TSR3 which outperformed the 2. Slightly better smash and 5-6 yards more carry. Better consistent ball striking at 10 mm toe with a small circular pattern. so we slid the weight to the T1 position. Hzdrs CB RED 50 g 6.0 stiff shaft at B1 hosel setting. The most important factor in a driver is having the correct shaft in the head. I was fitted for a TSR2 and loved how straight I hit the ball with the stock shaft. I was not happy, however, with the distance. I was spinning the ball at 3000+ rpm's. I was losing a lot of distance. Put a Newton shaft in it fitted for my swing speed and gained 25+ yards instantly. Spin rates dropped by 1000+ rpms. I can now hit the TSR2 as far as I hit my sons Aerojet LS with better accuracy.

Seriously this is getting insane. I mean reviews of new models are just finishing up and manufacturers already starting with new products. It’s become such a scam. Drivers do not need a new model every year it’s just ridiculous. Thank you takomo for what you do and the pricing. I’ve always loved the sound of the titleist drivers but over the last 10 years or so the look of their drivers behind the ball doesn’t suit my eye. Its weird the impact the look behind ball can have.

I recently replaced my M6 driver. I tried the new Cobra, QI19, AI Smoke ,a Big Bertha and Ping 430. My quest was for a lighter driver as at 74 the M6, even with a lighter shaft seemed heavy. After multiple shaft and head changes the data was in and the Ping 430 turned out to be 20 yards longer and a much tighter dispersion. The Ping, for me, was also 5 to 10 yards longer and tighter grouping compared to the other new generation drivers. I’ve played it 3xs since my purchase and am pleased with the results as I am longer and hit the fairway far more often. Finally, I hope my new Hackmotion, ( courtesy of your contest, THANK YOU) will dial in my game more so.

Ai Smoke has no bat wings, no jail break and has been completely redesigned into the Ai Smoke with a totally new face designed using low and behold, Ai. It has basically nothing to do with the old Paradym what so ever other than a continued name that tbh was here for such a short release time no one will remember the original Paradym.

You can take an older Ping G10,20, whatever, and still hit it 300 yards, and duck hook it all the same as the LATEST AND GREATEST!! Calling them AI, Q-whatever? , etc. , is all marketing. The fool that changes HIS clubs every year is just a sucker.
The only reasons to really change clubs are:
    1) your swing has changed, either slower or faster
    2) your game has improved from practice and more reps.

The first two reasons are doings of physical ability. The third just sucks.
