I just need to say that the kinks are my favourite band of all time, their songs have been there for me through so many hard times and I can’t imagine what my life would be like if their music wasn’t part of my journey. Thank you for the music, and happy 60th anniversary❤️
The Kinks are also my favourite band since I was 16teen. Thank you for The Days. Your music always enjoys my days
Villaggreen I like you have been a huge Kinks fan for a real long time (over 50 years). Have seen them more than 15 times in concert and I can't count the times when I was feeling down and went in my room turned off the lights and let Ray and the Kinks do their thing. Celluloid Heroes came out when I was about 16 or 17 and I listened to that song way too often. The Kinks are like an old friend crazy and unpredictable but always there when you need them Thank God for Ray and Dave and poor Mick who had to put up with them all these years. Rest in peace Pete and Jim Rodford (loved Argent too), God save the Kinks.Shoiut out to Gosling and Dalton as well.
60 years of the best music ever!
Happy anniversary. Long live The Kinks!
Happy 60th anniversary the Kinks. I never tire of listening to their music in good times and bad. Here's to many more years of stunning music.
I loved The Kinks the very first time I heard them and I used to sneek the little old radio into my bed at night, under my sheets with the radio right up against my ear waiting to hear Waterloo Sunset because my name is Julie and I felt like they were singing for me! They toured here in Australia in my hometown of Adelaide back in 1977 and I was right up the front as soon as they came on..nothing was gonna stop me being there! I have my old vinyl records and wouldn't part with them for anything! I love you guys! Thanx for all the amazing memories, being the soundtrack to my life! ❤️🙏🎶🎸🎹🎼📻🎵🎤🥁🪇❤️😍🤩
Under the Blankets with the Sobell Transister Radio my parents got me for Christmas a year after they got me a Dansette record player and a Kinks single and a Beatles single to play on it (I bought so many Kinks singles I can't remember now which was the first, not a fan of the Beatles really, so remember that one was I Feel fine, and She's a Woman - played in Mono, through a Valve amplifier, She's a Woman is still my favourite Beatles track tbh, best Beatles track to Dance to) Kinks and Rolling Stones, and The Who and Cream were my favourite 1960's Bands. By the end of the 1970's though I'd had enough of the Music Industry exploiting and killing Musicians to promote Drug use, and sold my entire Record Collection, and only listened to Live Music after that, other than putting on some Rolling Stones to keep me alert if heading to a rest area to sleep by my Motorbike for a break while Touring Europe. Best Wishes for a great 2023. Bob. 👍
@brownnoise357 wow..I totally get what your saying..being bought up through the 60s and early 70s was amazing, I pretty much loved everything and I loved all those bands you mentioned. I met Manfred Man when they toured here and had made friends with many Australian bands and musicians..then when I went up to North Queensland to live in the rainforest when I was 17..a hippy..lol..then started playing a guitar and writing my own songs and was heavily influenced by my early days listening to those UK bands as well as some American music..but really my music was what is called Roots music..I'm still making music, and have been making an album in Africa..and I still smile and remember those early days as a kid just loving the Kinks..best wishes to you too 🎶😀Julie
@@julieannejoolz Mods dressed nice and rode Lambretta or Vespa Scooters. So Rocker Wannabe me, became a Mod to get on two wheels (I had an SX 225 upgraded with all the good bits, it went like the clappers lol) Then once moved out from parents, my lifelong passion, other than Sailboats, a Motorbike, a Kawasaki 250 3 cylinder 2 stroke, to take my test on. then bigger and enter bikes from then on. Happy Days. All the best. Bob. 👍😀⛵️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️
One of the best bands ever
HAPPY 60th to my absolute favorite band,THE KINKS!!!!☮️💟🥂💋💋💋💋
Hello 😊 how's your day going so far?
A fantastic band and very underrated. Hardly get recognition as part of another British Invasion in the 70’s with great songs. Also wrote and performed one of the very best rock and roll Christmas songs with Father Christmas ❤️
Please do a tour! I'm almost 59, I have had your music in all my life! I would so love to seeya live 💜
First concert I ever went to was The Kinks at the Vancouver Coliseum back in 1980 I believe. I think Red Rider opened for them. Great show. $11 for the ticket and $13 for the baseball shirt.
I saw them in 82 or 81. Can’t remember. It was the “Give the People What They Want” tour. It was my 2nd concert. I think I was 14 or 15.
Bryan Adams opened up.
The soundtrack of my life...for better or worst....I do love them
My first memory of the Kinks, I was about eight years old and singing and dancing to All day and all of the Night. 😮 My older sister was crazy for the Beatles. But I was hooked on the Kinks. Always and forever a fan ❤
Happy anniversary to the best British band of the 60s (along with The Beatles), and easily the most influential band ever. They also recorded some great albums during the 70s and 80s. Long live The Kinks.
The greatest band the world has ever known! GOD SAVE THE KINKS!!!
The Best Band I ever saw play live. ❤️ the Kinks. 👍✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️
There was nobody better live
than The Kinks!
This planet is not worthy of the Kinks. How blessed I am to have been alive to hear them.
Hard to believe it was 60 years ago. Best decade of music ever. Loved them, the Animals The Who, Yardbirds and The Beatles of course.
I thank the Kinks for making my life better with their music.❤❤🎶🎶
Love them so much. Always have, always will.
Happy 60th anniversary 🥳 definitely one of my favourite bands of all time. i can't believe it's been only 3 years since I started listening to The Kinks. Your music has became a huge part of my life and I'm still finding new songs that i really like
Thank you🥰
My favourite band also. Because their songs are true. They talk about society, workers, family, dreams, but with such talent, humour ! And their music. Thank you Ray and Dave, Mick, Pete and all the others. I listen to The Kinks.
The best bamd from the UK in my opinion. And there were lots of great ones to choose from in 63-72.
God Save The Kinks 💜

¡Felices 60 The Kinks!
Muchas gracias por su música. 🥂⭐🍷
Happy Anniversary to The Kinks. They were my favorite band through High School in the 80’s. I started loving them when they had their”comeback”.
I wonder whose behind this 60th Anniversary thing, and this channel also. Is it managed by The Kinks or just some super fans.
They should have their own channel on Sirius XM. That would be cool.
Great music
Les Kinks, un des meilleurs groupes Britanniques des sixties ❤
The Kinx are my number 2 bands. Especially their string of albums from Face To Face up to Everybody 's In Show-Biz in 1972.
Ray Davies is a genius in writing a story in a three minutes po.p song
Happy birthday to The Kinks. My favourite band. Love so listening to their songs every day. They enjoyed my days. God save The Kinks

The COATs- coolest of all time!❤🎶
摇滚范特西入坑,最后爱上了滑铁卢日落,慢慢发现每一首都是经典,最爱misfit这张专辑。
It is genuinely wonderful
My Favourite
You just scratched the surface,Mate..
Big respect to this band
Even though I live through the 60s I knew maybe four or five of The kinks biggest hits in the last four years I've been going deeper and they are one of the greatest ! I think the Beatles even stoled from them a few things of course they all borrowed things. I've also been going deeper into The Beach boys and they were more than just surfing and hot rods.
Fair play x
God save the Kinks!
Vital music
Long Live The Kinks
SIMPLY THE BEST
My 7 year old loves listening to Lola every time it comes on the radio

Kinks r kool
日本人で1番初めにいいね👍🏼したと自負( *¯ ꒳¯*)フンスッ!←?
where is 'picture book'? where has 'jukebox music' gone?
This is simply the tip of iceberg otherwise this promotional would be an hour or more longer.
Ther have never been a better band
Your video song list skipped over Superman and destroyer!
If the original multi-track masters of the early releases still exist, then why don't you mix them for stereo?
I also get tired of record companies releasing MONO mixes of tracks that were originally cut in stereo.
I must have missed the good news...Can Dave still play?
Pretty cool! Not as good as the Beach Boys, but what can you do?
Can Ray Davies no longer vocalise ? He’s done print interviews for the 60th and is never photographed without something covering his neck. There appears to be something afflicting him that everyone surrounding him is eager to hide. I hope he’s made his peace with all the kids he abandoned and that none of them suffered.
Lola is me and my girlfriends song she's trans I'm cis and that song is legendary
God needs The Kinks to save _him_ not the other way around.
