Chelsea made a comment about having a complex on the show. It shows in her interviews. “I’m confident…. I begged for him…. Jimmy and I had an amazing relationship…. He did this and that and this and that….” Girl.
I imagine she's still in the process of healing. Emotionally, she feels drawn to Jimmy, but logically, she knows it's time to let go and move forward. Most of us have experienced this tug-of-war with an ex-partner at some stage in our lives. If you haven't, consider yourself fortunate.
I mean you can have bad parts of a relationship and also be able to appreciate the good parts of it. Not everyone has to hate their EX.

Chelsea can be an awesome person and still be a mental case on her romantic relationships.. both can be truth. It’s sad that she can’t even recognize her flaws and shortcomings.
Chelsea girl. She needs to own her actions. She can't keep blaming the bad edit. Jimmy clearly led her on. Shame on him. A huge part of having high self esteem is saying "this isnt working, i'm leaving" - instead, she begged and pleaded. A confident woman will not beg, she will go out and find hers. I don't say this to hurt anyone, but because i have seen her pushing the "i'm confident" narrative on every podcast and i think her path to healing will be to acknowledge things as they are.
I think people can be confident in different areas or sometimes with different people. I know for me I'm way more confident with my current partner than previous people I've dated.
I think it’s easy to say “a confident woman will not beg” but in reality it was a rocky relationship that was made very public and she was very hopeful to make things work. She was days from marrying this guy, after all!
Chelsea reminds me of a couple of people I have known who happen to have borderline personality disorder and I know they wouldn’t have described themselves as insecure either.
@@kayla.nelson The relationship wasn't public while it was recorded + some cast members did cancel their wedding, why not her since she is a "secure woman"? Plus her interviews in the pods did not show a secure / confident woman.
I understand that she wanted to give her all but if Jimmy wasn't committed to the experiment that's on him and it certainly doesn't justify the controlling and deflecting behaviours she displayed. I don't see how minimising that is helping her.
I wish her the best and if she's somehow secure good for her! if that's not the case I hope she can become more self aware in therapy and work on that.
I have a question for you tho. As a podcaster isn't it part of your job to stay neutral and check your confirmation bias? I'm genuinely curious

@kayla.nelson I agree that it sounded like there was a third person in the room. However, the audio coming from the mics was good. Not frizzy or distorted, no echo...that part was good.

I am so impressed
I really liked Chelsea and also could identify with some of her insecurities. That's why it is sad to see the lack of acknowledgement of her actions after this long time. Too much blaming others and circumstances. Maybe she is still in a frozen mode but just going to a therapist and shouting about it doesn't equal healing. Hope she takes a bit of more time and self-reflection for herself.

Yes separate hotel! she told me the guys stayed at a separate location and she said to this day she still doesn’t know where the guys stayed! I cut it because the audio got muffled
