- Happy Sunday and welcome to Bullara Station Stay, about an hours drive from Exmouth in Western Australia! We initially booked for one night, but this place had us hooked, and we ended up extending our stay to two nights - and honestly, we wished we could have stayed even longer!
Bullara Station is not your average campground - it's a working cattle station that offers an amazing experience for campers like us. 🐮
One of the highlights of our stay was the famous "Damper with Damper John" which he does every Wednesday night. 🍞🔥 John's damper is legendary, and it's an absolute must-try! We even share his recipe in this vid! 😉 Plus, the meat you can get from the reception is unbelievably delicious - it's a BBQ lover's paradise 🥩😍
And if you're after some sweet treats, the cafe serves up heavenly scones (almost as good as mum’s!!) and mouthwatering sausage rolls that are just too good to resist. Yep. We had them twice! 😅
All in all, Bullara Station has definitely earned the title of our favorite station stay in WA. If you're looking for an authentic outback experience with fantastic amenities, quirky bits & pieces and warm hospitality, you won't be disappointed here. We loved Bullara and burger night is so great. They’re yummy but I reckon the atmosphere takes it to another level. All the staff are there and everyone is relaxed and having fun. The bbq is so cool, well organised to keep the line going to serve up 250 burgers. There was also live music, dancing encouraged and the sheep were skulking around in the background looking smug….sux to be a cow!
It’s the BEST!!! We haven’t heard a bad word about the place 😁

Absolutely hilarious about the lava tress... when Tim and I road around the snowies on our bike packing trip, we kept passing signs to "Chain Bay" after a few hours that day, I said to Tim, "geez, Chain Bay must be huge, there's been signs for it everywhere today"... he literally stopped and asked if I was serious... "yep, why?"... "it's not a place trace, it's where you pull over to put chains on your tyres" 🤣🤣🤣🤣 just a disclaimer here... we were riding in summer so snow wasn't on my mind.😂🤷♀️

Loved this episode! Bullara station is definitely on my list to visit. Have made a note to book ahead for at least 3 nights, including a Wednesday and a Friday!!!!! Made sure I wrote down damper John's recipe to have a crack at. It looks amazing!

Very entertaining and fantastic editing on Miriam’s behalf not easy and a lot of work behind the scenes.. next time your over here make sure you call into a little black camp called Gladstone have a look on google earth just north of shark bay turn off worth a visit..
And when in Exmouth make sure you do a sunset at the light hours it’s a show stopper..

Bullara is really nice and the burger night is cool with big flames from the hot plate, live music, great atmosphere and tasty food. Hope you bought some of their famous snags the best I have ever tasted. The shower scene was funny and Bullara is right up there amongst the best station stays.. Thanks a fabulous video.

We rated Bullara as the best station stay we experienced and possibly one of our top 5 stops in WA. We did get to do burger night - Ahhmazing! Definitely not to be missed.
Also their savoury scones are awesome too❤

Guys the reason meals are so expensive in WA is because they don’t allow pokies in pubs, casinos only and you’ll find that the pokies subsidise the meals

We loved Bullara. Was there Two weeks ago and to anyone that reads this definitely book the Dinner, we had the lamb dinner and is was off the dial good. The scones...... Yes. The Sausage Rolls and home made sauce OMG and the carrot cake muffins is my wife's favourite. Will have to go back to such a wonderful place.

Our trip for 2024 is planned around Bullara station so we can be there for Friday and Saturday nights. So excited can’t wait . I hope they do a lot of gluten free damper . Look forward to that outdoor shower too - it looks amazing. You’ve just cemented that Bullara is a destination that can’t be missed .
How exciting for you!! And no gluten free damper was offered or even mentioned when we were there. Thankfully I don’t react badly 😅 The gluten free scones are great though!
You did a great job of highlighting Bullara Station with your look around and information . We started visiting Bullara back in 2009 when Edwina and Tim were just starting their move into tourism which was in its infancy . We have had several visits there since including August this year and the changes are amazing . 350 hamburgers were cooked on our Friday night and yes that’s a heap of people but you wouldn’t know as the organisation is so good and Jilly the camp host does a fabulous job . The live music was fun on the night . A shame you missed the walks but as you said , you will be back and next year all water will be bore water through a desal plant ……..so drinkable even to unpowered sites which we use . Thanks again for the tour , well done .

Haha yes - he does drive me bonkers sometimes!! We loved the Pilbara so much 😁 Campedia have returned to Rainbow Beach & will be based there for a while at a house I think.

It was super-busy when we were there August 22, but won’t arrive until September/October in 24, so we’re hoping it might be a little quieter, then we’re heading south. Would like to know if your bike box was built by you caravan manufacturer or you got it done somewhere else. Great van build, we are waiting for our Armolite build and gaining inspiration for you guys and others, sure our dealer is getting fed up with all our changes.
