As a mechanically inclined guy, this review was a real gem. We REALLY appreciate a review that tells you up front how to improve the weak points on any machine. For those of us who love to tinker, that info is pure gold, because of the fun of having some wrench input on our machines. Gives us a real connection to the bikes we love. Thanks, Lemmy, for a GREAT review!
This is the only motorcycle channel where the presenter shows any form of enthusiasm and personality when reviewing. All the others especially motorcycle USA sounds like they are literally reading a script in front of them.
I've gotta say, this is probably the best motorcycle review I have ever seen. Very in-depth and I really did like how you explained what you would change at the end. Good job guys. Also, the Indian Scout is a beautiful bike. I love the styling on it.
This is by far the best bike review I've seen on you tube! Great camera, sound and review... It's nice to see this quality of production, a lot of other reviews seem to be an afterthought! Thanks for your time and effort!
I have a 2018 Indian Scout and I love it, the issues in this video are not any concern of mine. The bike gets a lot of attention and people usually ask "When did Indian started making motorcycles again?" I changed the headlight to the Indian LED and added the tan leather bags.
This is best motorcycle review I’ve seen by far. You’ve got great shots, not just POV views. I love that. You’re explanation is clear and well constructed as well. As a guy shopping for his first bike, this was definitely a help. Thank you.
Thus guy knows what he's talking about....I've seen quitee a few revzilla reviews and all have been very informative and fun ti watch. You make it really interesting with your awesome hosting skills. Big fan and a subscriber from India. keep rocking.
This is an absolutely incredible review. Very easily the best damned review I've seen. Thank you! Looks like I'm buying a Scout this year to go with my Victory XC!
Super great reviews Revzilla/Lemmy!!! Loving Common Tread and Revzilla is quicly becoming my Go-To source of all motorcycle related business (you already had me at great gear reviews and customer service). I loved the approach to fixing rather than complaining and your shots and photography were just incredible!! Better than most specialized motorcycle publications! Keep up the great work guys!
This review was spot on. If I were to buy a Scout, I would also change out the seat; to me, after a quick 30 minute test ride, it felt like it was either too firm (or the leather was too firm) or it didn't have enough foam. Other than that, this bike is what the Sportster should have evolved into.
good to see you back Lemmie, i was worried there for a minute when i saw other people do bike reviews on this channel. Great review as always, needs more views.
The production and quality of these is amazing and Lemy is a very entertaining presenter...this is better than 95% of the stuff on TV. Keep up the great work guys!
Another great review Lemmy! I enjoy watching your reviews so much that I watch them for bikes I'll probably never buy, like this Scout. Keep up the great work and tell Anthony to stop dressing you so funny, LOL.
This is one of the best made motorcycle review videos I've ever seen, and I've watched hundreds. Everything from the photography to the excellent knowledge and likability of the host, to the great format of the information presented, was really top notch. Subscribed! Boom. As for content, it was interesting to see the upsides to this bike -- which I was familiar with from having ridden one -- but the down-sides were fascinating as well. The modifications suggested seem like they would get someone where they want to be, performance wise. I ride a 1700 Roadstar, so this bike is not really in my immediate future, as I want my additional bike to be something a bit more for the twisties, but my test ride of this bike was amazing. It was a joy to ride.
Chris Blake lemmy is an HD guy but his reviews are very honest, I'm an HD guy but I watched a lot of lemmys reviews before I bought my street glide, he's great, I still watch em even though I,m not looking for a bike lol
Revzilla's 2017 Resolution should be to have Lemmy ride and review as many cruisers as possible. These are the best reviews out there, and are super thorough.
Just passing by through this channel and must comment on the great cinematography. Rolling show with camera bike showing engine details while you comment on the frame, was absolutely marvellous.
Awesome job as always Lemmy! I'm a Harley guy myself but I have to admit the Indian Scout does have me wanting to make a little more space in my garage. If you're ever in the UK look me up, I've gotta buy you a pint, something tells my you'd be a laugh riot. ;o) Grand stuff there chap.
Hey, I just subscribed to your channel and it's AMAZING. I'm thinking about getting a cruiser and I love Indian scout. This review was just great. Thank you.
What a brilliant bike review! So glad I found your channel. You went into detail on everything I would want to know. Well done sir! Brilliant video! thank you.
Oh wow, you shot this review at Valley Forge National park. I recognized Route 252 in the park. I lived a few miles from the park, and my family would walk the trails there. Excellent review on an excellent bike, filmed at just a beautiful place. You also gained a new subscriber... Kimonoskunk

I'm becoming a huge fan of your bike reviews. I love the content, editing, production, and Lemmy. lol. I'm not a huge American twin fan by any means. The only bikes that have ever caught my attention are the scout and 750 street, and maybe the octane. I really like how you're not afraid to point out the negatives, even tho sometimes you're too nice...😀 Great vid btw and keep up the good work. Liked and subscribed.
subbed. amazing review, excellent commentary and wicked camera work on the road. keep up the good work! about time someone did reviews right unlike those other brit channels. :)
Great video. Very comprehensive. I love revzilla reviews because they show the rider on the bike. So many videos are from the rider perspective, but we all want to see what someone looks like on the bike. Thank you for that perspective.
That's 39 people who don't want to smile.....Lemmy - I bought this bike after a small test ride but totally based off your review and I must say its spot on. I am small so i didnt find the need to change suspensions. The bike is a PEACH and is more fun than a sack full of kittens.....TOTALLY
Very well done review amigos. From the presenter and the script to the audio when rolling and clever camera work. This is how every bike review should look like.
Great video Lemmy & Revzilla. I am considering this bike and I found this very informative and more perceptive from a rider's perspective. The comments and considerations are exactly what I want to know about the bike and how it's going to affect my daily use. Kudos to you guys, great job.
You are an attorney , so you work for money and you are money oriented, why should the Harley dealer sell to you at cost ? You don’t think they need the money to keep doors open ?
@@dmitriydean3946 there is a huge difference between your statement compared with theirs. It's completely one thing to make your customer feel as if they're getting a quality product vs just taking your money outright. When you spend that kind of money on a non-essential purchase (such as a motorcycle) it helps to feel validated when a dealer makes you feel good about choosing their brand over another. It has nothing to do with cost, but rather a lessened feeling of buyer's remorse.
Incidentally the Scout was just named Motorcycle.com's Cruiser of the Year. Guess they heard the words of that wise man who once said "You can't look cool if you're on a Honda"
+Chris E Can't look cool on a Honda. Go buy a Honda Valkyrie circa 97-03 and watch how people congregate around your bike and compliment the heck out of it and wish they could ride it, but I get your point.

First time I've seen one of your reviews. It wont be the last. Going to find some more right now. Your probably the best reviewer I've seen so far. Great work.
Why cant all reviews be like this? This review should be set as a standard for all MC reviewers to abide by. The camera shots and hands-on review while riding is truly thrilling. I wish we had a revzilla here in europe, maybe the UK.
Most honest and educated review I've seen! Also love that you guys are from my home turf. Great job and you've caught my interest. Subscribing to see what else you do.

What an awesome review! I love your channel. I have the 2017 Scout 60. I'm new to riding it's my first bike. Got it in August and have 1200 miles on it so far. I love it. I haven't had problems with the turn signals but yes, the mirrors have come loose on a very bumpy road and on the highway. The suspension on the front, since I'm new to riding I don't really know what the difference between soft or hard suspensions are supposed to feel like. I know I love this bike and it was so easy to ride, maneuver, control. It wasn't too much bike and it wasn't too little either. I do want it louder, though.
This was a well thought out and thorough review. Great job guys! I watched this when it came out because I happened to be in the market. Just like you said, I'm a returning rider after a long break (kids are getting a little older) so the Scout appealed to me. Long story short I picked a Scout up about 10 days ago. I've only put a little over 100 miles on it, but I can honestly say this review is spot on! Definitely a little sleepy on torque in the low RPM range (not so bad that it's a problem, just different than what you may be used to) but watch out as you get up to 3500 and beyond. My biggest and really only complaint so far is the suspension and really, it's not bad at all. Yes, front end is slightly squishy, but back end feels good to me. I've already changed out my mirrors so no issues there and for whatever reason my turn signals have stayed in place. I'm waiting for my Vance and Hines grenades and I think I'm all set. Thanks for the review guys!
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 This man is brilliant at his Craft! Love what you do Lemmy. Very informative and perfect attention to detail. Nothing goes unnoticed by Lemmy. You want this guy in your corner when purchasing a bike. 🏍
Not considering the Scout at all, but love Revzilla and order a lot of my gear from there. You have to review more bikes like this! Way better than the so called "Motorcycle Magazine" reviews.
Thanks Lemmy My wife traded in her Victory Cross Country for a Scout and is absolutely in love with the bike. So much so that she doesn't mind commuting from work in the triple digit Texas heat. Her only nitpick so far is that while the seat is awesome looking it isn't as comfy as she'd like. It isn't so bad that it is a priority fix (and it could just be that she's spent the last few years riding a bike that was built for spending longer periods of time in the saddle and is accustomed to that). Thanks for the review! I just picked up a new Moto Guzzi Audace...maybe you can review one of those in the future.
Another great review Lemy. Thanks! I like the new bit with the gear. It's quick and unobtrusive so it doesn't mess with the flow of the video and lets us see some of the gear Anthony and Spurge push in action. I dig it. But of course the real meat and potatoes is the review itself. Insightful and practical.
Thanks for both the positives and negatives in the review. Just stepped into an Indian dealership to get up close and personal with this bike for the first time and liked what I saw.
Lemmy Who ever hired you at Revzilla is a total genesis. Your reviews are absolutely the best. I will never grow tired of the way you tell the good and the bad. A plug every once in a while for the company is fine by me as long as you give the review. THANKS
Wow, really amazing production!! The first in-helmet audio was a little hot but that's a nasty recording environment so it can be excused. Would have liked to hear some more audio of those aftermarket mufflers at the end too. Other than that, absolutely flawless. Nice work Lenny and the crew.
This is the video that convinced me to buy a scout back in 2017. This video has become iconic to me. That said, I’ve had a blast on my scout for the last 6 years. Really recommend it. Great job RevZilla. I think the scout really needs a refresh in 2024…now that the Sportster S is out….in my opinion Harley made the S to be a Scout killer.
Amazing review as always. I'll be getting a Scout later this year and absolutely can't wait, was thinking about a Harley but Indian blows them out of the water
Excellent review! This is probably the best most detailed review i've seen on the Scout so far. That being said, i'd be really interesting in seeing you review the 2016 Indian Chief Dark Horse. I prefer that look over the scout. Btw i've subscribed in hopes of seeing the Dark Horse reviewed!
A very entertaining honest bike quality review...and I enjoyed every minute of your opinion. Watched it twice as I am considering a 48 soon. Any custom ideas RevZilla for this Scout coz the 48 has tons.... keep up the good work... you deserve an award for the professional job done... a pleasure to watch
We own a 2015 Scout (same model and even color as in the review) and we've never had issues with the signal lights or mirrors getting knocked out position. Even when she tipped it over and hit the right mirror, we just adjusted it back into place and the ball socket held for another 260 highway miles all the way back home. Something was *really* odd about your test Scout if your mirrors and signal lights were that loose. Otherwise, I agree with everything else in your great review. Oh, and I'm a big 'Zilla fan. Your helpful reviews/demos and top service have pretty much eliminated my shopping elsewhere.
I think you guys could review a can opener and make it interesting! This is another great review, very fairly showing the high points and not so high points of a sweet new bike. Lemmy comes off as an honest friend telling you what he thinks. The photography is world class and the editing is fantastic. I watch your videos, even if I'm not interested in buying the bike.
Brilliant review! I'm sick of seeing all these "reviews" with some nerds that quote figures from a brochure and ride a bike for two hours. This was legit and my first time seeing Lemmy.... new fan and subscriber! bloody well done 👏

Did you guys end up reviewing a 2016 or 2017 Scout in Video form?
It was a 2015 model year. -DrewZilla
Why not for a commuter?
In my opinion, it's fine as a commuter. I'd recommend you go schedule a test ride on one to get a better idea of how it might work for you. -DrewZilla
He Lemmy, how tall ate you bud? I'm 6"2 abiut your build and just wondering if that bike would fit me?

Just a headsup for people looking into this bike in 2019, the new models all come standard with ABS, and the engine breaking is now GREAT
And they stiffened the front suspension.

My wife traded in her Victory Cross Country for a Scout and is absolutely in love with the bike.
I just picked up a new Moto Guzzi Audace...maybe you can review one of those in the future.
revZilla is NEXT LEVEL reviewers...the editing color and video is amazing!!
Most thorough review out there on the Scout wow man.
THANKS
Agreed, format was awesome! Super detailed and hit the key questions.
Wow, really amazing production!! The first in-helmet audio was a little hot but that's a nasty recording environment so it can be excused. Would have liked to hear some more audio of those aftermarket mufflers at the end too. Other than that, absolutely flawless. Nice work Lenny and the crew.
Excellent Review! Best I have seen regarding the Scout! Thanks!
Good review. I do want to share that I picked up my Scout about a month ago and I don't have those problems with the front turn signals and mirrors.
Dude, that was an awesome in depth review. Keep up the good work ^_^
Amazing review as always.
Fantastic Bike Review, best reviewer I have seen, so detailed , factual and not opinionated in my view, just subsribed Andy from the UK
Love the in motion camera work.
Good review, all the bases well covered. Nice mix of riding and showing and the music didn't overpower the commentary or engine sound.
I just love how the lines flow on this bike, lots of character. Well done.
A great review, lots of detail but you keep it moving. Very smart, very articulate. Thanks for the great work.
Man I like the way you shot this video. I'm gonna watch more of your videos
Brilliant review! I'm sick of seeing all these "reviews" with some nerds that quote figures from a brochure and ride a bike for two hours. This was legit and my first time seeing Lemmy.... new fan and subscriber! bloody well done 👏
