    Thanks for the vids on the ATB,
    I owned a 2012 puma, worst car i ever owned. Fell apart faster than i could put together.
    I now have a Td5 130 and it is so far wicked

    Every single MOT I have had on my Defender has the following advisory on it
    Monitor and repair if necessary (advisories):
    Oil leak, but not excessive (8.4.1 (a) (i))
    😂

      Over here until the 60's, they used to spray the dirt roads with used oil to tie it together!
      Now they use Calcium Chloride which is OK when dry, but can cause rust when wet - hence the number of rusty cars here

    Brilliant repair video series and you've done loads , is it normal wear and tear or have they been towed with one axle lifted ?

      You mean the LT230's?

    • @royblackburn1163
      @royblackburn1163 Před rokem

      @Britannica Restorations Ltd mine is a lt230 but generally all of them, the reason I'm asking is if it's been towed that's understandable but if it's a common wear and tear problem then I see no point ever buying a second hand one apart from not knowing it's history it may make more sense to bite the bullet and repair the one you have, guess you would recommend doing the same? Cheers Roy.

    Leaking swivels keeps your balls wet and lubed.😂
    Looks like the ATB is a worthwhile mod.👍🏻

    What’s the deal getting it licensed in Canada? Doesn’t have to over a certain age to import it or anything like that in Canada?

    • @BritannicaRestorations
      @BritannicaRestorations  Před rokem +3

      Has to be 15 years or older. In Quebec no RHD can be licenced unless it is over 25 years and Prince Edward Island no RHD at all
      USA is 25 years or older - must be exactly as VIN states with no modifications - so no TDi in series trucks for example
      However, once in the USA you can do what you like as long as they pass the tyre kick inspection...

      @@BritannicaRestorationsinteresting, thanks for clarifying. So that vehicle being an 07 model is older that 15 years old can be allowed on the road. What if it’s newer than 15 years old and LHD, would it still be allowed on the road?
