    Really enjoy your channel. Just bought an 18 Macan S. 18400 miles. Highly optioned . My daughter cleared the Navigation, LOL, the previous owners only drove to the golf course and the steak house.

    That’s an impressive improvement! We just got ‘18 S. I’ve done the air box upgrade and want to do this next with the improved blow off valves.

      I need to get those blow off valves upgraded. I may be missing some of those extra boost levels. Possibly need to get F6's Stage 1+ tune as I hear it's a little smoother.

    Your 0-60 numbers seem high. Are you in area with high elevation?
    I have a bone stock ‘16 Macan Turbo and my best 0-60 so far is 4.2… And that was with a little bit of wheel spin. I have stickier tires now, but haven’t logged with my draggy in about a year though.
    I also have a few 4.3s and 4.4s 0-60.

      I'd say look at the relativity between pre- and post-tune. We are lumped with 91 in AZ and I didn't have a stretch where I could optimize launch.

      I have a bone stock 2015 3.6 turbo with 29k stole the draggy out of my dart and I'm getting 4.2 all day long on launch control

    I thought that looked like Arizona in the first clip. I live right by Porsche north Scottsdale and bought a 2018 macan s this week. Have you had any issues with Cobb installed?

      Only had one issue that may or may not have been related. I pushed it to the top of third gear in ‘paddle shift’ and it went into limp mode - quick restart took care of it. All in all, not even sure related. I preferred the custom tune from Flat6 over the Cobb OTS.

    Whats your feeling of the reliability of the cobb tune? Do you feel that it damaged the engine? Did you modify other stuff on it to make sure it was safe? Looking for a cobb tune on my turbo 2015!

      I have no cause to think the tune did anything harmful to the Turbo’s motor. I had the F6 MSports tune out on mine to optimize the adjustment for my mods and for my data logging analytics that I sent to them. It was a pretty light Stage 1+ that was on there and by no means do I think out the engine outside of parameters. It never gave me a hard time on any front either. D

      Truth be told, I’m not convinced I’ve got the car where I want it with this first tune. I’m waiting for Flat 6 to get some diverter valves in and will install those in addition to their stage 1+ custom tune file. Hoping that will resolve some of the non-WOT driving jerkiness. At full throttle it pulls but the boost really let’s go between shifts. So, hoping the DVs maybe soften that effect - may just be something I have to live with. With the amount of AccessPorts I see listed on FB I think this is a common sentiment from just the Stage 1 OTS file from COBB. Hoping to have the parts and throw up in video before too long…

      @@coleweinstein7364 I no longer own the car so can’t speak to longevity. Haven’t heard much of issues on stage 1/1+ type changes for these engines. If all else is in check and in spec, I’d probably do it myself.

    Turbo? I have an S with stage 3 flat6 protune, my best 0-60 4.3 with 19 all season tire.

      I think it has a 3.9 in it under better conditions and with upgraded diverter valves and a slightly refined tune. I was mostly doing this junkyard set of runs to get approx relativity between a pre- and post-tune. The improvement is real.

    Could try the Flat 6 stage 1+ map. I think they say you'll get an extra 20 hp over OTS.

      Thanks, yeah, I've been wanting to get with Jon for a custom tune. I also think I need to get used to throttle inputs. Seems the TCU isn't quite in synch with the ECU as it course through the gears.

    I installed my COBB tune on my 2018 Macan Turbo. It said it installed successfully, However after the install, I cannot access SPORT nor SPORT+ mode? Is this normal or did I do something incorrect?

      I think there's a procedure whereby you have to wait a couple of minutes for those functions to be activated. After the tune is loaded you need to wait to turn the car back on. See from 30-60 seconds in this video -czcams.com/video/3OOAerRnOCA/video.html

      I'm going to do a more deliberate video on this. But, at this time I'd say it's still not a very smooth application of boost. If you hammer the throttle, it'll go. Any modulation can be a bit more jerky and stuttered.

      The point was to display relativity. Since both times were recorded on same stretch, that holds up. Need to find a better road to run if trying to lock in times for any kind of recording.
