2024 Mazda CX-90 preview: Walkaround of Mazda’s largest SUV | Top Gear Philippines

Just three months after the launch of the Mazda CX-60 in the Philippine market, the Japanese carmaker now takes the covers off the Mazda CX-90, the largest SUV it has produced thus far. With prices starting at P3,680,000 and topping out at P3,780,000, it’s also the priciest Mazda to be sold in the country.
But that sum buys you a whole lot of car packed with high-end features, luxurious amenities, and performance. This is a full-size crossover that promises to meet expectations normally reserved for luxury brands, at a lower price point. To be honest, I've seen a lot of reviews concerning "mild hybrid" cars, this video is the only one that explained it much further.

Agreed. It also doesn't help that each manufacturer have their own name branding for various hybrid systems. But I agree with Niky, if it's allowed under the law then it's technically a hybrid eligible for no coding. Otherwise, rewrite the law!

​​@@jerryyu7270I thought the DOE law stating electric propulsion as the qualifier was enough, but for sure Mazda has pushed the limit for it (as manufacturers always have and should definitely continue to do so). Idk why they even developed this though when they could have shared the same tech from the PHEV and just made it a more proper Hybrid as the other version instead of a mild hybrid.
