Been playing since 1.1 and know damn well I'm gunna pick Yaoyao. Still sat through the whole video and wanna say awesome job once again to Zajef, the mods and the editors ^^ you guys all do great stuff and the whole community gains from your efforts ^^
Fun fact: Yanfei's shield is strong indeed but it was so strong in the beta that they had to nerf it(from 70% of her hp to 45%).
Bruh 70 Percent is way too powerful.

I remember the event when characters were given in the same way. I had XQ C5 and I could not decide whether to take the 6th one, because I could get him in the rolling... In the end, I chose c6 and did not regret it, because the next copy of XQ came to me only after 7 months

It took me a year and a half playing this game to have my first copy of Bennett lol . He always appeared in the banner that i skipped so i only do 1 or 2 10 pulls in those banner but no luck
To be honest, 0:39 of all the options in the screen, Zajef is the best IMO. Pretty solid choice, specially when it comes to meta.
However, I'll choose Immortalized by Disturbed, a bit less meta but very motivating when it comes to playing the game or doing the abyss.
Or go for “Fortuitous Invitation” for collection purposes
Pretty nice seeing people enjoy and be able to do abyss with off meta choices, i personally like Argentina as a first choice and France as the second option.

Agreed, XQ really is the best unit in the game, over Bennett. He's so in demand that Yelan becomes a universally amazing pull because she's another Xingqiu. If the Hydro Archon tops them out when she comes out...

Tbh if the dendro archon isn't a universal pull it will feel like betray to me, xingqiu yelan ayato childe and kokomi are so versatile that she must have a lot of hydro app with also lot of healing/buffs instead of dps tbh, but it wont happen
@@JustSomeGuyWithAMug archons are always good (enough), so I wouldn't be too worried. So long as we keep our expectations reasonable I'm sure she'll be a good pull for any account
For sure, hydro is just so busted right now. Almost all good teams require hydro with the exception of spread/aggrevate and some okayish hyper carry teams (raiden/itto/xiao who all want some niche c6 4 star support). And xingqiu is just the best hydro character in almost all the teams besides freeze and international. Yelan being a generally worse version of xingqiu still makes her the second most broken unit in the game right now and the best 5* pull imo. I think were past the times of needing a second bennett, at this point we need a third xingqiu.
@@michael199820 then there's me who doesn't play Xingqu at all. All my hydro comes from Childe and Ayato. And sometimes Barbara.
Yaoyao is an interesting case, if she followed normal ICDs she would be a better dps then the majority of the 5 star cast.
Yaoyao's healing is pretty amazing, I ran Nahida, EM Raiden, XQ, and Yaoyao and she easily staves off the bleed from the rifthounds
What artifact set did you have on yaoyao? And all HP?

I was listening to you explain Beidou's ICD stuff at 13:30 and literally just thinking "i have no idea what he is saying" when the confused meme lady popped up on screen and I actually lol'd. Planning to grab Yelan and I'm one off of XQ's C6 so hopefully I pick up that last con while pulling for her so I can grab YaoYao from the selector. Everyone else is already C6.

Yeah i saw his stream when he was doing the testing, and his yaoyao had around 24k hp and was still healing enough. He was actually impressed by it.

Echo chamber-ish, but Yaoyao is 100% enough as a solo healer for Nilou teams and it's REALLY comfortable, opening up a team like Nilou, Nahida, Yaoyao, Yelan. When Nahida's starting to get low you swap to Yaoyao and Bursts and AA with her applying Yelan's Q. You need her burst on this team so ER is preferred (things like C2 and Kitain Spear also helps).
I brought poor lvl 20 Yaoyao along for my weekly Childe fight (I'm WL6) and just the dendro application she brings to the table made it the easiest fight I've ever had. The homing on the radishes exceeded expectations as well
Yanfei was actually my main carry, had her with Bennet, Xingqiu and Yelan. The thing is, i realized eventually that she was being hard carried by those 3 absolute monsters. And i got Lost Prayer in the Standard Banner very early, so i made her my main carry. Honestly, now that i know a bit more about vaporise, i might bring her out again. Got decent stats on Crimson Witch and Wanderer Troupe to make her work. It will be her last time to shine before i get Hutao.
But of the characters on this list, Yao Yao is the only one i want.
I find that Yan Fei makes a great driver for many strong off-field units. I have her in a team now with Nahida, Raiden, and Xing Xiu right now, but I’ve also used her with Fischl, Albedo, and more. Her range is beautiful, and even if she is the weakest on the team, she can trigger a variety of reactions at range, which is a great thing in itself. It’s a chaotic mess, and I love it. Still one of my stronger teams for all-out damage, competitive with my National team for single target, though with less healing, and the absolute best thing I have for taking out flying enemies.
Why not use Yanfei with Hu tao? My Hu tao team consists of Hu tao, Xingqiu, Kazuha/ Sucrose and Yanfei. Yanfei being at c4 and my shielder. Imo the best shield option for Hu tao if you use a virid user.
Honestly she's alright. Her damage is lower than Tao's for sure, but not by as much as you'd think, and she's a lot more comfortable to use.
@@Strashky Dont have Hutao yet, but when i do im wondering who my 4th spot will belong to. Yelan and Xingqiu are garanteed to be her teammates, with Xingqiu as healer. Maybe she can double up as shield and resonance provider.
i just use chongyun with nobless and wolf's gravestone as his burst is so quick to use to support my c6 ayaka and he does well!
I'm getting chongyun for my kaeya freeze team with xq and a flex. Also he has rly nice idle animations for a 4*.

For me personally, xingqiu c1 is actually quite useful. He and zhongli are my only characters that provide resistance to interruption so my Al haitham and keqing actually really appreciate the extra resistance duration!
I'm surprised Zajef did not mention Yaoyao's c2 and c4. C2 being a pretty decent mitigator for her expensive burst and C4 being a nice buff for Nilou teams (making her gain EM based on her max HP). She can run full healer build and still get good bloom damage on the ones she owns. That said she probably doesn't need to run full HP since her healing will likely be enough on a hybrid HP/EM build. Overall I think she has very good constellations that open up new team synergies.

I got wildly lucky and yoinked Yaoyao on my first ten pull, so I'll be putting Lantern Rite to C1 Xingqiu. Hopefully between that, pulling for Yelan, and the shop in March I'll be at C6

My wish for Alhaitham's banner was four Yunjin and two YaoYao; after 100 pulls the result is seven Yunjin and zero YaoYao so yeah I know who I am gonna choose. I wanted Dehya but she is looking pretty bleak so I am considering Baizhu now but that makes me cautious about investing in YaoYao.

@@dennisdustin6895 Well, it seems like she is incompatible with anything we have right now. She had potential to be very good but as of current beta version her kit has lots of glaring issues.

@@dennisdustin6895 Just like wauffle said, her e skill is basically like albedo; a circle area with a coordinate attack but pretty bad proc time(2.5s each proc cd) and pretty bad uptime (12s uptime 20s cd). And the field gives party members 50% dmg taken share with dehya herself and some stagger resist.
Ult is also explained by Wauffle, but I'll add that you could add mona/ koko with passive hydro appli, but she will only vape every 3rd hit coz icd.
Everything subject to change.
If only xynian burst damage actually scaled from defense she would actually be a decent shielder/burst dps/phys support and even battery if you consider the fact that you don't need any CRIT to proc fav if you have C2
I'd say that if her shield scaled off ATK% she'd be pretty okayge. Her ascension is ATK% and she has pretty comparatively high base ATK. It would also contribute to her general use because you can just go for damage and get a strong shield at the same time.

Pair Chongyun with Shenhe and Rosaria and Kaeya become less effective. He has short cooldowns, a lot of damage, and he is the best partner in crime for Shenhe aside from Ayaka. + Shenhe won’t steal his melts on the jlt if you play him correctly, what you can’t really guarantee for Rosaria.
Beidou’s burst cost and E suck
Since I was able to get a copy of YaoYao from the Alhaitham banner, I might go for my final constellation on Yunjin (c6). I know she's not really meta, but that 12% attack speed is going to be fun.
Everyone else is c6 btw so its either c6 YunJin or more YaoYao.
@@kaito9836 As someone who rolled C6 YaoYao in their alhaitham struggles I can say that the cons on her are pretty optional and definitely don't change much about her role. The only place I could see it mattering would be in Nilou teams that really want the extra C6 healing.
Though there is definitely an argument for optimization of potential future rolls if you don't really use yunjin much anyways as she will be on future banners at some point or just a random offbanner roll which might just get you 5 starglitter then.

Wanderer's NA team with Zhongli, Yelan, Yunjin feel very satisfying to me. I also use Yoimiya a lot. Tho I do prefer double hydro with her, sometimes I use Yunjin too to vary gameplay ^^ I think she is pretty valuable if you main both Yoimiya and Wanderer!
I will take Yaoyao, because my Yunjin is c2, and c3 is nothing special, and I wanna have at least one copy of Yaoyao on my account just in case.
I was torn apart between her c0 or Xingqiu c6 (mine is c5), but then I found out that Yelan banner, which I planning to roll on, will have Xingqiu, so I decided to pick Yaoyao now

For yunjin I want to shoot out a Noelle team. You already need a lot of geo particles anyway in those teams, so yunjin will need less ER on top of producing energy for noelle
i started playing during the first lantern rite and i picked xingqiu just because i got chongyun and i wanted to play the buddies together. i had no clue xingqiu is s tier that time

xiao auto attack build, tbh it actually isnt bad since he has such high dmg % scaling.
physical fischl, C1 oz hit counts as a normal attack and can get close to doubling her dmg, and also works with echoes, but physical meme...
ningguang, with echoes the normals actually double proc if you get in ranges to cause them to hit at the same time, but charge dmg is still to hard to ignore.
bow charge attack childe, for what ever reason they made this riptide flush(charge shot trigger) be normal attacks that hits upto 3x per charge, with echoes set, its possible to get 20k per tick on a 20% talent dmg skill.
xiao's is like the only one that does enough to even think about in non meme cases

my logic is I don't have c6 xingqiu yet so i pick him. i don't like yaoyao anyway

Since everyone but Chongyun is C6, I’ll go for Yao Yao because new char > constellations on Chongyun. Well, Yun Jin C4 is there, for my Yoimiya, but. Yoimiya is fine with waiting for Yun Jin at a later date, I’m not missing out on much compared to the advantages of having a healer who can apply dendro for my Quicken team.

I’ve at least found YaoYao is enough of a healer and Kokomi can go to the other team. YaoYao at 36K HP on Tassel and 190 ER through substats and she heals for 2000 HP per tick and I never struggle to stay alive in Nilou team.
I do 2600 per tick with that much HP and tenacity set.

Got a C1 Yao Yao from Alhaitham's banner and after eventually getting him after a 50/50 loss god knows I'm not putting any more fates into that cursed banner. Going for C2 Yao Yao since I'm playing her a lot and she's fun, I got C4-C6 of pretty much everyone else except Ning.

I think people still underrate Beidou with dendro, I mean, the best hyperbloom team is with Raiden, who don’t heal the party as Kuki, so the fourth best slot is Yelan. However, you just get Xingqiu’s swords as the only way of survability, but Beidou, thanks to the synergy with Xingqiu’s swords, gets a lot of value being the second best fourth slot if we’re talking about damage, and the first if we’re talking about survability, and she’s a 4*, and not everyone have Yelan…

I bought Xiangling C2 from the shop and I'll get her c3 just to get closer to c4. Honestly, playing International with Childe with a 10 sec burst is a nightmare.
Xingqiu is just c2... I already have Yelan and don't mind Hu Tao. I'll do just 20 pulls on Yelan, I'm at 4 pity and I already got a early Alhaitham, hope to not take Yelan's c1 but anyway, I don't mind.

As of now, I've been really enjoying Burst Ayato with Deepwood, Nilou, Nahida, Yao Yao rotations. Nukes the abyss super quickly.

I have her on HP sands, EM gob, EM circlet on the nilou team, about 30k HP and 600 EM. Lvl 6 talents. It's MORE than enough healing.
Im still deciding between getting c6 yunjin or c0 Yaoyao. I know YaoYao is probably more valuable, but I’m trying to make the most out of Yoimiya.
If you have Yoimiya, Ayato, Qiqi, Ningguang, etc. Who use normals - C6 is a major upgrade 😆

Do you use Nilou? Do you use Aggravate teams and would like them to have a healer? Do you use Alhaitham and don't have Kuki? If the answer is no to all of these, you're never really gonna need Yaoyao

I got no choice but to pick Xiangling since she never appears on banner that I pull on 🗿 (she's still c2)

There is a lot of misunderstanding surrounding additive damage transfer mechanic used by Shenhe and Yunjin and it's basically down to the fact that this part of their buff is additive and not multiplicative which means it cannot be controlled by power budget of the target unit. It's effectively Shenhe and Yunjin's damage, only it's fulfilled by other units. Quicken is much the same, only it's limited by ICD which is character-specific, so they can budget for it by messing with ICD itself (see Collei, Dori). It's not that the damage goes down, it's that it doesn't scale in AOE. Important distinction.
i have to choose between c3 Xingqiu and C4 Xiangling so ill go for Xiangling since that pyronado duration increase will feel so nice
