There's this really, extremely underrated 4 star in this game because of the fact that he doesn't do all that much damage, but Bennett is a super good option for a few teams

I try to play Yoimiya but she is just a silhouette on a character sheet. I see no Cyno yet. There's no more Dehya disappointment anymore. I want to play Klee because she's better than Diluc and definitely better than Xiangling, though the arsonist child is clunky to play. I want to play Childe but I don't know how rotations work and play him as a hypercarry. She grabs me by the throat. I farm Northlander Billets for her. I cook for her. I give her R5 Cresent Pike. She isn't satisfied. "Save up for Signora. Hopefully she's a dedicated Physical support Cryo catalyst, surely." In the meantime I try giving Vortex Vanquisher to her because she deserved it more than Zhongli. "I don't need this much ATK%," She tells me. "Give me more field time." She lamented. "You just need to pull Cryo Amber so I have more Superconduct uptime" I can't pull for Ganyu, I don't have enough primogems. She grabs my credit card. It declines. "Guess this is the end." She grabs Gouba. She says "Gouba, get them." There is no hint of sadness in her eyes. Nothing but underwhelming white damage numbers. What a cruel world... TL:DR: OPPA XL on top.
I would say Collei is massively underrated. Most people think of her as the shittiest free dendro option and don't even bother to build her. But I recently started playing Nilou, and unironically Collei (albeit with C2 and refined SacBow) is the 2nd best dendro for her after Nahida, due to how easy it is to apply dendro on demand. Also, only reason Beidou fell off from the conversation is because hyperbloom is the meta so she got pushed out. As you see more varied teams popping up this cycle, Beidou returns.
Beidou is getting more attention recently by content creators (and thus the community as a whole) thanks to her strength in the current abyss...before that, I would agree she dropped off the radar
@@lighle6902 the way i see it, a team popularity is heavily depends on the enemy lineups. It can't be denied And an abyss mixture like this rotation (which heavily reliant & restrictive to some extent) makes alot of "generalist" teams struggles more than usual. In contrast, playing a unique/underrated teams is becoming the actual generalist option sometimes

@@mickysaif yeah it's good, but need more than 2 targets, imo only real weakness compared to razor is, beidou cannot extinguish burning with a single e ike razor, but with 2 targets it's possible with her burst.
@@jayleno2192 Yes you play Beidou on-field, yes its much better in this team, because Bennett have his own burgeon team where he is an on-field burgeon trigger. Here you play Beidou on-field because you want to apply pyro on enemy as less as you can, and if you apply too much pyro, enemy can easily start burning reaction, which will prevent them from generating more bloom seeds. Infused pyro attacks have standard ICD, which means that only first and then every 3rd attack will apply pyro, and with Beidou slow animations it will be enough to proc all burgeon seeds, but not too fast for enemies to start burning, which is bad, and she have much wider AoE coverage than Bennett's autoattacks. Also while playing on-field you can use your E off CD, which will apply 2U of electro if you perfect parry and will furthermore extinguish your enemies if they burn. Another thing is, when you use your E, you can self-overload just like Razor, but much less often, because Beidou E applies electro aura on yourself, which will overload if you standing in Bennett's burst. And the last thing, when you being attacked, you will get an extra instance of electro application on your autoattacks (Beidou's C4), which will result of more quicken or overload reactions. Please feel free to correct me if i said something wrong or forgot anything. Upd: yea, and also when you play solo electro Beidou without Fischl, you generaly want to be on-field because, you know, she already have very high energy requirements even with Fischl in her team, but without Fischl and with full EM build her energy reqs are absurdly high.
The thing about Razor is you don't need to waste resources to level 90 Razor. If you have Bennett c6 and level 90 Kuki Shinobu, just use Kuki on-field, it's basically the same team.
Heizou has such satisfying punch gameplay I use him more than Sucrose just because hes more fun. And at this point, fun is more important to me than meta because If I need meta, my account has it, but sometime you just want to PUNCH
I remember when people treated beidou as the electro version of xiangling and then she started to fall off a bit as people realized she is only that in 2 target and then dendro happened
Beidou is somewhat technical because she's not a bloom proc unit but she slots well into it if you have Kuki; which wasn't possible for alot of people through early and mid 3.x But when Taser was super popular yeah, she was a reliable Taser unit too.
Honestly people who say they fell of because of hyper bloom is just dumb, like saying kazoha fell of because of hyperbloom it just doesn't make sense because they fit other teams 👏👏

You know I wasn't expecting the Heizou mention but TTDS + VV + slight substat flexibility is pretty nice to have when you think about it. He's not the best but who cares when you can punch enemies and not be at a crippling disadvantage (cries in dehyawaitingforherbuffswithherfellowdehyas)
Beidou probably hasn’t been talked about much because in Aggravate teams, there’s Fischl and that’s already a given. You have at least one dendro, then the flex slot usually relegated to a shielder, healer, or anemo. So we have the last Electro option and people will usually either run Keqing or Yae. It’s just a rather unfortunate situation for Beidou to be in. I love that pirate mommy
I've used beidou in multiple good teams like taser, quicken, and hyperbloom for a really long time and i'm always really impressed at how much damage she does and how much utility she brings to a team, i'm surprised more people don't use her when she's so strong and accessible just being a 4 star that you can buy in the shop.

Also, let me cook here: Chongyun is kinda underrated IMO because you can cast the cryo infusion skill without needing energy and waiting for the burst CD and as long as the team members aren't claymore users, they can apply fast cryo without shattering, especially with Sacrificial for no downtime.
My free-to-play Chongyun teams literally destroy any abyss faster than the teams people around me are praising, it's insane how he gets ignored every time because people, including TCs misunderstood him from the very beginning. But it's not the reason you stated. Sac Chongyun should only be used in a freeze comp as a budget Ayaka support. He is pretty good there, his C2 is just straight-up amazing, cutting off 3 seconds off Ayaka's burst is much more valuable than people think. But where he truly shines is in reverse melt. His quick nuke and synergy with Bennett, Kazuha, Shenhe, Nahida, and others is what makes him so good. I see people trash on him bc "Rosaria and Kaeya are better" but uuuh I think those people only do Excel Impact, not Genshin Impact, and simulate the situation where the enemy never moves so Rosaria and Kaeya actually seem good when the moment you go to the actual abyss you see how much damage they are losing where the enemy suddenly dashes or goes underground. Chongyun never faces this issue, his burst can target enemies far away, it's fast at doing all of it's damage and to mess it up you'd have to intentionally try to mess it up.
Beidou is amazing as a 4star. I needed her for 9starring this season's Spiral since she destroys the 1st half. Used Sucrose, Xingqiu, Fischl, Beidou. (I used Nahida, Bennett, Xiangling, Ayato for the 2nd half) Also, I've used Thundering Furry Razor without c6 Bennett since I don't have it. It still works since Hyperbloom is OP, and you still self-overload when Razor's burst is inside Bennett's burst, but it's relegated only to when I can't use a different hyperbloom team for another reason.
I built thoma from the beginning and used him as a shield for yoimiya and hutao teams, so when burgeon became a thing, I got to use him more. Kaeya has been the second cryo on my Ayaka freeze team as a battery for Ayaka and also sub dps. Also, as a taser team fan, Beidou has been a staple for me.
I would say Lisa. Shes super underrated and almost no one uses her nor talks about her. I agree with her gameplay being a bit clunky but her damage is way worth it. Easy defense shred +good quicken user.
She hasn't been talked about enough post-dendro. She's a good driver for Fischl in aggravate and can be a good support for spread carries like Tighnari/Alhaitham for the defense shred + she helps maintain quicken. She's also still the second best electro unit after C6 Sara for Raiden hypercarry teams in aoe (Fischl beats her in ST).
Problem with Lisa is the constellations. They help her a lot, but if you don't pick them up from the store, they're just a pain to get. And even with the store, you're talking years, typically, to get C6.
to be fair, hybrid razor is not a bad team, since his damage split is close to 55:45 you can play him on lineups like -razor+rosaria+baizhu+fischl. you can also go electro razor and use kazuha+nahida against phys resistant enemies. and noelle is certainly underrated. i always see people complaining about consecrated beast being hard and oneshot machines, but noelle doesn't care. she facetanks everything and doesn't need defensive supports.
As an ex sucrose taser with Beidou, the release of nahida really took even my attention away from Beidou. I'm really glad to finally use her again in this abyss
In all honesty, I do think that Sayu is a decent unit in situations where enemies group themselves together or bosses that barely move. Sure, she doesn't offer any extra buffs aside from VV and her burst is limited to circle impact, but she's still reliable, and can keep Swirling with her burst unlike Jean. Also Sayu Salad is by far the most hilarious Hyperbloom variation that exists, and one of the very few teams where Nilou works outside of Bloom kekw.
I think the reason why Beidou kinda decline on people because You much preferred playing Hyperbloom (That is why Kuki is popular now) than Taser these days and in aggravate, Keqing, Yae and even Raiden is much better than her dmg wise and you would need Fischl in that team for her A4 plus electro app Also Lisa is underrated for me than Razor/Candace since she fit in so many teams
Beidou still competes with Yae for Aggravate in AoE scenarios, you just need a good driver like Yao yao or Sucrose. Yae is preferred by most people who have her because she's right in the middle between AoE and Single Target. Also Aggravate Raiden being better than Beidou Aggravate is kind of a disingenuous statement since the Aggravate reaction barely improves her damage, her innate kit is the one doing the heavylifting.
@@MrGshinobi You "can", but it's a bit like pushing a square peg into a round hole. Typically you run hyperbloom on the boss / single target heavy side, in which case you'd rather double down on single target (e.g. double hydro) rather than dilute with AOE. You see a rise in Beidou usage this cycle due to the tough survival chambers on both sides being more burgeon friendly. But since not everyone has/runs burgeon, they can instead opt to run a defensive AOE diluted version of hyperbloom and it still works.

About Beidou - I watch a lot of f2p abyss guides and they pretty much always mention Beidou and how good she is, specially in aggravate teams, and that was way before this new abyss. I'd say ever since dendro became a thing she's been mentioned pretty consistently
beidou being unpopular probably stems from how her playstyle is. people don't like high dmg unless it shows up and u can screenshot LOL meanwhile beidou's arcs are harder to spot but it feels so good to play her burst bcs the enemy health just get shredded

Eh. Beidou used to be a popular enough choice for electro. I'd say what really made the difference is dendro, and how it made more electro units feasible as main DPS. This then pushed Beidou to the sideline, because you have your electro main, your dendro, and typically an anemo. That leaves you with one slot left, and it usually goes to a character that offers more support than Beidiou does (like better particle generation).
@@YungXin certain. Look at the most popular abyss teams. Very few are frontload teams. Fewer still are nuke teams. The meta rn is dominated by high sustain teams, essentially all of which are Dendro transformative teams, and tough luck trying to pick out the numbers in those. I mean, would you play Beidou over Yae or Kuki if you had the option?
it feels like some characters are left out of the conversation COMPLETELY just because there's a better option. not much consideration for people who don't HAVE that better option, or want basically two of them for both sides of the abyss. sometimes it feels like the conversation goes "how good is x?" "just use y" that doesn't answer the question! usually I'm not asking if x is the _best_ option, I'm wondering if trying to play them is gonna make me wanna rip my hair out!
Beidou is a very good unit for a second electro non-proccer in hyperbloom. Her damage reduction and interrupt res can stack with XQ if you're using him but is generally always nice to have, she benefits from Raiden's burst buff if you're using her, and generally outputs a lot of aoe damage
Beidou was one of the very first units I pulled, and also got 3 in 1 ten pull off Naturally I've always admired her strength and she was broken for me during the overworld haha
Kinda sad that Heizou is underrated or just not mentioned as much which is understandable Like I invested in him the same amount as other character but he doesn't deliver that much, I'll eventually super invest in him but it feels like shit coming from meta teams
I would love to see an underrated 4* character video. I am pretty sure I and many others are sleeping on potentially fun teams, but don't know about it. Or go even one step further: one niche for each 4*.
Best Eula-centric team, or best team featuring Eula? If the latter, then hyperbloom with Eula as driver. If the former, then Eula + mix and match any combination of your favorite cryo/electro off-fielders.
Okay, that Thundering Mommy got me intrigued and pumped it up a notch... Thundering Loner. I used Raiden instead since Beidou is just lvl.75 and LMAO it shouldn't be this funny but it is.
is heizou main dps really that bad? he's super easy to use, has pretty high numbers for a 4 star, all he needs to function is some off field application, he can use crit or em, and i count 5 artifact sets he can take full advantage of (pavillion, viridescent, shimenawa, gilded and echoes). scara/xiao have more raw damage and sucrose/kazuha are better as vv supports but as an EM main dps i'd always pick his superior moveset and quick swirls over sucrose or kazuha, and as an anemo dps he's comparable to xiao and scara is way stronger but requires a shield which heizou doesn't. if your heizou is levelled and you have a bunch of random sub dps units you want to use together just add heizou, give him a random artifact set and half the catalysts in the game and you've got a team
I love playing VV Heizou as an on field dps paired with a subdps (as I feel like that's what he was made for), his damage is split between normal attacks, reactions and big pp skill
Beidou's issue is that taser kind of got replaced by Hyperbloom and aggravate has a ton of options between fischl + every other main electro DPS. Still good though. I should try Beidou fischl in Alhaitham Spread sometime.
Dang the thumbnail shows that razor was an anamoly of the hoyoverse. Razor broke the metaverse because he specialize using his physical attacks more than his element, even though his element attacks are meta defining. (Also Miguel/spider-man 2099 is Da wei) Rate my plot.
The thing with 4 stars is either theyre decent at c0 or needs a certain constellation to be good the latter being ignored most of the time since most people dont bother with constellations
I'm a pretty new player compared to most (started around 3 months ago) so I have like 2 five stars. I have full EM Razor with Nahida, Barbara + filler and I could not be happier with performance. I wouldn't say Razor's bad without Bennet c6. Would any other electro perform better in this role? I don't know.
I never thought Beidou is underrated. She is still really good, even through hyperbloom, since you can do aggravate or taser damage without disrupting Kuki's hyperblooms. I stick with the Xiphos Kuki and Beidou so Beidou gets more energy via Xiphos passive. And since Beidou snapshots, she can snapshot Nahida's shared EM and other buffs she could get.
EM doesn't snapshot unless it's for non transformative reactions like melt/vape. Unless aggrevate isn't a transformative reaction. So you would need to keep Beidou on field to gain Nahida's EM buff.
@@flamezforthegamez1056 Yeah atk buffs work with Beidou. An Elegys EM buffs works for 12 seconds since it's for the whole team, so even though it doesn't snapshot, she still benefits from it until it's duration ends. Same with Sucroses EM buff for the whole party.
7:26 I remember one genshin cc mentioned her to refer to the non-meta characters they had crowned (mentioned along with Sara, Lisa, and Dehya). I was shocked... She is not necessarily meta but their point made it seem like she was THAT BAD.

You dont want to play Yae in a Hyperbloom Team???? Okay, that's probably the most "questionable" thing I've ever heard from zajeff. Her AA Animations are literally designed to wipe up dendro cores.
As a Yae main I agree with him. I tried Hyperbloom Yae a bit but Aggravate just felt so much better, and even more so with the recent release of Baizhu. In general playing Hyperbloom Yae feels like a waste imo, if I wanted to play Hyperbloom I’d play Kuki instead
@@dimyog That's why I was completely confused. Beidou is also NEVER a good onfield driver, so I don't know if thats the point of his statement. Yae can be build as a DPS, her DMG also scales with EM and as an onfielder, she can also benefit from Buffs like Nahidas Burst. Kuki or EM Raiden for example are great, but you don't want to play them onfield because their AA's are garbage. Yae's AA's can still aggravate and do decent damage.
With how frontloaded Heizou can be, why not just play dual carry (you need c1 for this tho) or some national variant instead of hyper (not including taser, which is obviously his best team)?
Beidou's burst simply needs to apply and deal electro damage regardless of how many enemies there are and she would be perfect! In her current state, she's a dps loss against almost any boss unfortunately, and while that may not matter all of the time, it matters enough to where I pick someone else instead of her.
As a Kaeya main, i will always love when he's brought up as an actually good character. Also I got a C6 Heizou on accident and used a lvl 75 Beidou, Lvl 12 Fischl, and Lvl 1 Barbara as supports and omg he destroyed everything. He was level 1 and was going toe to toe with WL 5 enemies with... not ease, but an interesting amount of strength. And trust me, Beidou was only used for her burst once that fight.
Heizou is not underrated, you're litteraly contradicting yourself in his whole part. If someone doesn't have a second grouper, KAZUHA IS AROUND THE CORNER! Everyone on the list besides him makes sense, but no, he's where he should be as a playable unit.

They just push enemies away and you have to waste time chasing after them 😂 Yes, you can play Heizou in a Dendro team. Everything Sucrose can do Heizou can do but slightly worse. "Why not pull Kazuha?" Gee, I don't know. How about not enough primos for guarantee? Saving for different characters? Not wanting Kazuha? So many good 4 stars, its crazy. I got Bennett, shinobu, and Sucrose. Started a bit ago, ar35, first 5 star was primordial jade spear, so i hope i win 50/50 on kazuha and farm more primos for traveler. Making a husbando team. Kaz, Benny, Traveler, and traveler. I have 2 kids and a wife but im building guys only 😂
Last time I heard Beidou is good? I watch Wallenstein XD So every time basically. I knew Beidou was good since that patch in Inazuma when she was given for free, when I finally got her. Now she is 3crowned with r5 spine.
@@MrGshinobi In what sense? She has insane damage potential, huge aoe, gives herself resistance to interruption through her own shield and even covers the role of the healer for the team, she's also very flexable, fitting in many comps that aren't mono geo unlike the quote on quote superior itto
this abyss showed me that sucrose(I don't have kazuha) and beidou are good, thanks to them I could get the 36 stars of the 3.7 abyss. Actually my beidou was lvl 20 before this abyss and now I love her and she is 90 because she carried me
So where is candace good at? On nilou team? I can see her usecase being a decent hydro applier with c6. Or maybe her hydro is good enough for hb and stuff if you use that AA Swap tech on non c6
Full EM Candace (focus on having enough ER) and she does super well in Nilou bloom teams. What’s great about her is that her burst creates hydro damage around the character every time you switch characters and Nilou bloom requires a lot of switching characters and you don’t have time to normal attack. She takes a good spot from Xingqiu so you can use him in other teams. This also helps you not die from the blooms as much because you are switching characters constantly. I enjoy using her and she does well even without Nahida (but bigger damage if Nahida is in the team). When I use Candace, I sometimes team with [Dendro MC/Nahida, Nilou, Yaoyao/Barbara]. It’s good to have a hydro unit who has full EM since if you have two Dendro, hydro characters are the one creating the bloom reaction. I have Candace only at C0 and she is my favorite in Nilou bloom. Two piece two piece noblesse oblige(for burst damage if you want), flower of paradise lost, gilded, or wanderer…. with fav lance if no energy… Just stack as much EM! Best is four piece FOPL or Gilded. I also wanted to add that Candace infuse hydro to sword, claymore, and polearm characters so I enjoy using her burst and switching to Yaoyao so I can use her burst. Then I just let Yaoyao hit normal attacks so she apply hydro damage and with Yaoyao’s fav lance, I’m generating energy for the whole team. It’s also safe to have Yaoyao on field because she has a lot of HP as a healer
She's not really underrated though. She still needs that C1, and it gives her a use in one team. It's like saying Amber was underrated when Elegy was the 4th member of Hu Tao teams. But she wasn't. She just had one case where she was worth using.
Disagree on Sac Frag not giving Kokomi enough mobility. I've never once been in a position where I felt locked down while playing Nilou with Kokomi. If you're ever at a point where Kokomi is somehow stuck on cooldown when you need to relocate, it's probably time to swap to your other characters and reapply their abilities anyway, especially Nilou's ring. By the time you go through all that, including Nilou's Burst for the two hits of Hydro in a wide AoE, Kokomi's Skill is most likely ready to go. Besides, is Barbara really giving you that much mobility when her Skill has such a small AoE and has such a long cooldown?

If you've ever watched some clips of Zyox streams, you'd see him banning people for lots of silly reasons. The ban is typically for a short duration, and it is just a joke thing for the channel.
Layla is just for shield and some energy and cryo application, her dmg is shit. Yunjin is also a support, she's great for characters who use normal attacks, just stack a lot of defense and ER
I use her with yoi mostly and her shield is usually more than enough with c1 with 100% uptime, and the cryo app lets yoi melt sometimes instead of vape which is nice she was mostly made to work with scara so he can have a consistent shield for resistance to interruption and get the 20 cr from his passive

nah thoma sucks with the high cooldown on his E skill He needed to farm both crit and er substats so he could use Fav lance effectively. there are other spear character who can utilize the fav lance passive much better than thoma. burgeon is the only thing he is good at AND he is still tied to nahida to make him look good cause how burning sucks.
beidou was always a good character but her being tied to fischl (for the most part for energy) limits her teams. The raidou situation was also sadge

I want to play Klee because she's better than Diluc and definitely better than Xiangling, though the arsonist child is clunky to play. I want to play Childe but I don't know how rotations work and play him as a hypercarry. She grabs me by the throat. I farm Northlander Billets for her. I cook for her. I give her R5 Cresent Pike. She isn't satisfied. "Save up for Signora. Hopefully she's a dedicated Physical support Cryo catalyst, surely." In the meantime I try giving Vortex Vanquisher to her because she deserved it more than Zhongli. "I don't need this much ATK%," She tells me. "Give me more field time." She lamented. "You just need to pull Cryo Amber so I have more Superconduct uptime" I can't pull for Ganyu, I don't have enough primogems. She grabs my credit card. It declines. "Guess this is the end." She grabs Gouba. She says "Gouba, get them." There is no hint of sadness in her eyes. Nothing but underwhelming white damage numbers. What a cruel world...

I would say Collei is massively underrated. Most people think of her as the shittiest free dendro option and don't even bother to build her.
But I recently started playing Nilou, and unironically Collei (albeit with C2 and refined SacBow) is the 2nd best dendro for her after Nahida, due to how easy it is to apply dendro on demand.
Also, only reason Beidou fell off from the conversation is because hyperbloom is the meta so she got pushed out. As you see more varied teams popping up this cycle, Beidou returns.
Beidou is getting more attention recently by content creators (and thus the community as a whole) thanks to her strength in the current abyss...before that, I would agree she dropped off the radar

@@jayleno2192 Yes you play Beidou on-field, yes its much better in this team, because Bennett have his own burgeon team where he is an on-field burgeon trigger.
Here you play Beidou on-field because you want to apply pyro on enemy as less as you can, and if you apply too much pyro, enemy can easily start burning reaction, which will prevent them from generating more bloom seeds. Infused pyro attacks have standard ICD, which means that only first and then every 3rd attack will apply pyro, and with Beidou slow animations it will be enough to proc all burgeon seeds, but not too fast for enemies to start burning, which is bad, and she have much wider AoE coverage than Bennett's autoattacks. Also while playing on-field you can use your E off CD, which will apply 2U of electro if you perfect parry and will furthermore extinguish your enemies if they burn. Another thing is, when you use your E, you can self-overload just like Razor, but much less often, because Beidou E applies electro aura on yourself, which will overload if you standing in Bennett's burst. And the last thing, when you being attacked, you will get an extra instance of electro application on your autoattacks (Beidou's C4), which will result of more quicken or overload reactions.

Upd: yea, and also when you play solo electro Beidou without Fischl, you generaly want to be on-field because, you know, she already have very high energy requirements even with Fischl in her team, but without Fischl and with full EM build her energy reqs are absurdly high.
The thing about Razor is you don't need to waste resources to level 90 Razor. If you have Bennett c6 and level 90 Kuki Shinobu, just use Kuki on-field, it's basically the same team.
Kuki works there, as does Beidou. They're just worse in that specific teamslot.
That doesn't mean that Razor isn't underrated
Heizou has such satisfying punch gameplay I use him more than Sucrose just because hes more fun. And at this point, fun is more important to me than meta because If I need meta, my account has it, but sometime you just want to PUNCH

I thought Beidou/Fishcl are pretty popular, only falling off since Hyperbloom, they were quite popular pre-3.0. Still insane units.
Imo Beidou only got better with HB.
Beidou is somewhat technical because she's not a bloom proc unit but she slots well into it if you have Kuki; which wasn't possible for alot of people through early and mid 3.x
But when Taser was super popular yeah, she was a reliable Taser unit too.
Honestly people who say they fell of because of hyper bloom is just dumb, like saying kazoha fell of because of hyperbloom it just doesn't make sense because they fit other teams 👏👏

You have at least one dendro, then the flex slot usually relegated to a shielder, healer, or anemo. So we have the last Electro option and people will usually either run Keqing or Yae. I've used beidou in multiple good teams like taser, quicken, and hyperbloom for a really long time and i'm always really impressed at how much damage she does and how much utility she brings to a team, i'm surprised more people don't use her when she's so strong and accessible just being a 4 star that you can buy in the shop.

Also, let me cook here: Chongyun is kinda underrated IMO because you can cast the cryo infusion skill without needing energy and waiting for the burst CD and as long as the team members aren't claymore users, they can apply fast cryo without shattering, especially with Sacrificial for no downtime.
My free-to-play Chongyun teams literally destroy any abyss faster than the teams people around me are praising, it's insane how he gets ignored every time because people, including TCs misunderstood him from the very beginning.
But it's not the reason you stated. Sac Chongyun should only be used in a freeze comp as a budget Ayaka support. He is pretty good there, his C2 is just straight-up amazing, cutting off 3 seconds off Ayaka's burst is much more valuable than people think. But where he truly shines is in reverse melt. His quick nuke and synergy with Bennett, Kazuha, Shenhe, Nahida, and others is what makes him so good. I see people trash on him bc "Rosaria and Kaeya are better" but uuuh I think those people only do Excel Impact, not Genshin Impact, and simulate the situation where the enemy never moves so Rosaria and Kaeya actually seem good when the moment you go to the actual abyss you see how much damage they are losing where the enemy suddenly dashes or goes underground. Chongyun never faces this issue, his burst can target enemies far away, it's fast at doing all of it's damage and to mess it up you'd have to intentionally try to mess it up.
Beidou is amazing as a 4star. I needed her for 9starring this season's Spiral since she destroys the 1st half. Used Sucrose, Xingqiu, Fischl, Beidou. (I used Nahida, Bennett, Xiangling, Ayato for the 2nd half)
Also, I've used Thundering Furry Razor without c6 Bennett since I don't have it. It still works since Hyperbloom is OP, and you still self-overload when Razor's burst is inside Bennett's burst, but it's relegated only to when I can't use a different hyperbloom team for another reason.
I built thoma from the beginning and used him as a shield for yoimiya and hutao teams, so when burgeon became a thing, I got to use him more. Kaeya has been the second cryo on my Ayaka freeze team as a battery for Ayaka and also sub dps. Also, as a taser team fan, Beidou has been a staple for me.

I would say Lisa. Shes super underrated and almost no one uses her nor talks about her. I agree with her gameplay being a bit clunky but her damage is way worth it. Easy defense shred +good quicken user.
She hasn't been talked about enough post-dendro. She's a good driver for Fischl in aggravate and can be a good support for spread carries like Tighnari/Alhaitham for the defense shred + she helps maintain quicken. She's also still the second best electro unit after C6 Sara for Raiden hypercarry teams in aoe (Fischl beats her in ST).
Problem with Lisa is the constellations. They help her a lot, but if you don't pick them up from the store, they're just a pain to get. And even with the store, you're talking years, typically, to get C6.
to be fair, hybrid razor is not a bad team, since his damage split is close to 55:45 you can play him on lineups like
-razor+rosaria+baizhu+fischl.
you can also go electro razor and use kazuha+nahida against phys resistant enemies.
and noelle is certainly underrated.
i always see people complaining about consecrated beast being hard and oneshot machines, but noelle doesn't care. she facetanks everything and doesn't need defensive supports.

As an ex sucrose taser with Beidou, the release of nahida really took even my attention away from Beidou. I'm really glad to finally use her again in this abyss
In all honesty, I do think that Sayu is a decent unit in situations where enemies group themselves together or bosses that barely move. Sure, she doesn't offer any extra buffs aside from VV and her burst is limited to circle impact, but she's still reliable, and can keep Swirling with her burst unlike Jean.
Also Sayu Salad is by far the most hilarious Hyperbloom variation that exists, and one of the very few teams where Nilou works outside of Bloom kekw.
I think the reason why Beidou kinda decline on people because You much preferred playing Hyperbloom (That is why Kuki is popular now) than Taser these days and in aggravate, Keqing, Yae and even Raiden is much better than her dmg wise and you would need Fischl in that team for her A4 plus electro app
Also Lisa is underrated for me than Razor/Candace since she fit in so many teams

Beidou still competes with Yae for Aggravate in AoE scenarios, you just need a good driver like Yao yao or Sucrose. Yae is preferred by most people who have her because she's right in the middle between AoE and Single Target.
Also Aggravate Raiden being better than Beidou Aggravate is kind of a disingenuous statement since the Aggravate reaction barely improves her damage, her innate kit is the one doing the heavylifting.

Typically you run hyperbloom on the boss / single target heavy side, in which case you'd rather double down on single target (e.g. double hydro) rather than dilute with AOE.
You see a rise in Beidou usage this cycle due to the tough survival chambers on both sides being more burgeon friendly.
But since not everyone has/runs burgeon, they can instead opt to run a defensive AOE diluted version of hyperbloom and it still works.
How is that any relevant? beidou is also a hyperbloom team character

Eh. Beidou used to be a popular enough choice for electro. I'd say what really made the difference is dendro, and how it made more electro units feasible as main DPS. This then pushed Beidou to the sideline, because you have your electro main, your dendro, and typically an anemo. That leaves you with one slot left, and it usually goes to a character that offers more support than Beidiou does (like better particle generation).

The meta rn is dominated by high sustain teams, essentially all of which are Dendro transformative teams, and tough luck trying to pick out the numbers in those.

Beidou is a very good unit for a second electro non-proccer in hyperbloom. Her damage reduction and interrupt res can stack with XQ if you're using him but is generally always nice to have, she benefits from Raiden's burst buff if you're using her, and generally outputs a lot of aoe damage
Beidou was one of the very first units I pulled, and also got 3 in 1 ten pull off
Naturally I've always admired her strength and she was broken for me during the overworld haha

Okay, that Thundering Mommy got me intrigued and pumped it up a notch... Thundering Loner. I used Raiden instead since Beidou is just lvl.75 and LMAO it shouldn't be this funny but it is.
is heizou main dps really that bad? he's super easy to use, has pretty high numbers for a 4 star, all he needs to function is some off field application, he can use crit or em, and i count 5 artifact sets he can take full advantage of (pavillion, viridescent, shimenawa, gilded and echoes). scara/xiao have more raw damage and sucrose/kazuha are better as vv supports but as an EM main dps i'd always pick his superior moveset and quick swirls over sucrose or kazuha, and as an anemo dps he's comparable to xiao and scara is way stronger but requires a shield which heizou doesn't. if your heizou is levelled and you have a bunch of random sub dps units you want to use together just add heizou, give him a random artifact set and half the catalysts in the game and you've got a team
I love playing VV Heizou as an on field dps paired with a subdps (as I feel like that's what he was made for), his damage is split between normal attacks, reactions and big pp skill
Beidou's issue is that taser kind of got replaced by Hyperbloom and aggravate has a ton of options between fischl + every other main electro DPS.
Still good though. I should try Beidou fischl in Alhaitham Spread sometime.

I'm a pretty new player compared to most (started around 3 months ago) so I have like 2 five stars. I have full EM Razor with Nahida, Barbara + filler and I could not be happier with performance. I wouldn't say Razor's bad without Bennet c6. Would any other electro perform better in this role? I don't know.

My problem with most of my 4* characters is that I have a lot of constellations but I just don't have a team to fit them in
I never thought Beidou is underrated. She is still really good, even through hyperbloom, since you can do aggravate or taser damage without disrupting Kuki's hyperblooms.
I stick with the Xiphos Kuki and Beidou so Beidou gets more energy via Xiphos passive. And since Beidou snapshots, she can snapshot Nahida's shared EM and other buffs she could get.
EM doesn't snapshot unless it's for non transformative reactions like melt/vape. Unless aggrevate isn't a transformative reaction. So you would need to keep Beidou on field to gain Nahida's EM buff.
@@bromegaman5962 yeah, forgot about that. Transformative buffs don't get snapshotted anymore. Well, Elegy buff gets snapshotted, and so does ToM buff.
@@flamezforthegamez1056 Yeah atk buffs work with Beidou. An Elegys EM buffs works for 12 seconds since it's for the whole team, so even though it doesn't snapshot, she still benefits from it until it's duration ends. Same with Sucroses EM buff for the whole party.

As a Yae main I agree with him. I tried Hyperbloom Yae a bit but Aggravate just felt so much better, and even more so with the recent release of Baizhu. In general playing Hyperbloom Yae feels like a waste imo, if I wanted to play Hyperbloom I’d play Kuki instead

@@dimyog That's why I was completely confused. Beidou is also NEVER a good onfield driver, so I don't know if thats the point of his statement.
Yae can be build as a DPS, her DMG also scales with EM and as an onfielder, she can also benefit from Buffs like Nahidas Burst. Kuki or EM Raiden for example are great, but you don't want to play them onfield because their AA's are garbage. Yae's AA's can still aggravate and do decent damage.
With how frontloaded Heizou can be, why not just play dual carry (you need c1 for this tho) or some national variant instead of hyper (not including taser, which is obviously his best team)?
Beidou's burst simply needs to apply and deal electro damage regardless of how many enemies there are and she would be perfect! In her current state, she's a dps loss against almost any boss unfortunately, and while that may not matter all of the time, it matters enough to where I pick someone else instead of her.
As a Kaeya main, i will always love when he's brought up as an actually good character.
Also I got a C6 Heizou on accident and used a lvl 75 Beidou, Lvl 12 Fischl, and Lvl 1 Barbara as supports and omg he destroyed everything. He was level 1 and was going toe to toe with WL 5 enemies with... not ease, but an interesting amount of strength. And trust me, Beidou was only used for her burst once that fight.
Heizou is not underrated, you're litteraly contradicting yourself in his whole part. If someone doesn't have a second grouper, KAZUHA IS AROUND THE CORNER! Everyone on the list besides him makes sense, but no, he's where he should be as a playable unit.
Not everyone has Kazuha, he's talking strictly about 4 star units in this video and after sucrose heizou is the best 4 star anemo unit.

Yes, you can play Heizou in a Dendro team. In the same way a person would play Sucrose in a Dendro team: as a Hyperbloom driver and/or as a grouper. He's literally a Sucrose downgrade; he offers a similar role but worse. Everything Sucrose can do Heizou can do but slightly worse.

So many good 4 stars, its crazy. I got Bennett, shinobu, and Sucrose. Started a bit ago, ar35, first 5 star was primordial jade spear, so i hope i win 50/50 on kazuha and farm more primos for traveler. Making a husbando team. Kaz, Benny, Traveler, and traveler. Last time I heard Beidou is good? I watch Wallenstein XD So every time basically. I knew Beidou was good since that patch in Inazuma when she was given for free, when I finally got her. Now she is 3crowned with r5 spine.

Heizou is my favorit 4 star. His playstyle is just incredible fun. He is in the top 5 of the most fun characters to play.

@@MrGshinobi In what sense? She has insane damage potential, huge aoe, gives herself resistance to interruption through her own shield and even covers the role of the healer for the team, she's also very flexable, fitting in many comps that aren't mono geo unlike the quote on quote superior itto

this abyss showed me that sucrose(I don't have kazuha) and beidou are good, thanks to them I could get the 36 stars of the 3.7 abyss. Actually my beidou was lvl 20 before this abyss and now I love her and she is 90 because she carried me

So where is candace good at? On nilou team? I can see her usecase being a decent hydro applier with c6. Or maybe her hydro is good enough for hb and stuff if you use that AA Swap tech on non c6
Nilou teams with YaoYao specifically
Full EM Candace (focus on having enough ER) and she does super well in Nilou bloom teams. What’s great about her is that her burst creates hydro damage around the character every time you switch characters and Nilou bloom requires a lot of switching characters and you don’t have time to normal attack. She takes a good spot from Xingqiu so you can use him in other teams. This also helps you not die from the blooms as much because you are switching characters constantly. I enjoy using her and she does well even without Nahida (but bigger damage if Nahida is in the team). When I use Candace, I sometimes team with [Dendro MC/Nahida, Nilou, Yaoyao/Barbara]. It’s good to have a hydro unit who has full EM since if you have two Dendro, hydro characters are the one creating the bloom reaction. I have Candace only at C0 and she is my favorite in Nilou bloom. Two piece two piece noblesse oblige(for burst damage if you want), flower of paradise lost, gilded, or wanderer…. with fav lance if no energy… Just stack as much EM! Best is four piece FOPL or Gilded.
I also wanted to add that Candace infuse hydro to sword, claymore, and polearm characters so I enjoy using her burst and switching to Yaoyao so I can use her burst. Then I just let Yaoyao hit normal attacks so she apply hydro damage and with Yaoyao’s fav lance, I’m generating energy for the whole team. It’s also safe to have Yaoyao on field because she has a lot of HP as a healer
She's not really underrated though. She still needs that C1, and it gives her a use in one team. It's like saying Amber was underrated when Elegy was the 4th member of Hu Tao teams. But she wasn't. She just had one case where she was worth using.
Disagree on Sac Frag not giving Kokomi enough mobility. I've never once been in a position where I felt locked down while playing Nilou with Kokomi. If you're ever at a point where Kokomi is somehow stuck on cooldown when you need to relocate, it's probably time to swap to your other characters and reapply their abilities anyway, especially Nilou's ring. By the time you go through all that, including Nilou's Burst for the two hits of Hydro in a wide AoE, Kokomi's Skill is most likely ready to go.
Besides, is Barbara really giving you that much mobility when her Skill has such a small AoE and has such a long cooldown?

If you've ever watched some clips of Zyox streams, you'd see him banning people for lots of silly reasons. The ban is typically for a short duration, and it is just a joke thing for the channel.

i have maxxed layla with mistsplitter and she doesn't do anything, teach me layla pls (teams and builds) and also what about yun jin
I enjoy using Layla Xingqiu Faruzan Wanderer for freeze team and they never run out of energy 👍
Layla is just for shield and some energy and cryo application, her dmg is shit. Yunjin is also a support, she's great for characters who use normal attacks, just stack a lot of defense and ER

I use her with yoi mostly and her shield is usually more than enough with c1 with 100% uptime, and the cryo app lets yoi melt sometimes instead of vape which is nice
she was mostly made to work with scara so he can have a consistent shield for resistance to interruption and get the 20 cr from his passive

nah thoma sucks with the high cooldown on his E skill He needed to farm both crit and er substats so he could use Fav lance effectively. there are other spear character who can utilize the fav lance passive much better than thoma. burgeon is the only thing he is good at AND he is still tied to nahida to make him look good cause how burning sucks.
