Good News was my favorite album when it came out! Man when I put on The Ocean Breathes Salty I get some crazy nostalgia. When I was 14 I never would have thought I could have nostalgia over anything other than being a little kid. Now here I am in my mid 30s wiggin out over being 14-15 again! Great video, man!

I was in 8th grade when this came out. I had seen the video for Float On, and heard it on the radio which led me to buying the CD.
One day during that year my mom was in a depressive state because she had a miscarriage. So I put in the 'good news' CD, skipped to float on, and we just listened to it. Hard to say what's my number one album ever, but 'good news' will always be in the conversation
The connection we have with music truly cannot be understated. That a song or an album can transport you to an experience or event in your life, good or bad, is one of the reasons I collect records. Thanks for being vulnerable and sharing your story with the album!

Hey this vid just popped up in my recommended and i really enjoyed ur vid. One thing tho, u really need to upgrade the mic quality if u want to get a larger viewership. I can say personally, its a big turn off for me when there are many similar channels. Good luck in the future and hope u see success in whatever u decide to do moving forward in life, not just online.
Thanks for the input; I definitely do appreciate it. Upgrading my gear is on my short list of things I need. I actually will be ordered a mic here within the next few days so within a few weeks new vids *should* feature both better video AND better audio, fingers crossed!
Getting on some antidepressants isnt too bad, changing through them , stopping and starting can have side affects like acting in way that make the authorities send a helicopter looking for you but its all growing pains, i think thats why they say try not to skip doses if possible. But ya, it's really weird.
So so true! I’ve experienced this from the outside from a few people I’m really close to. When they missed a day, it was almost like a completely different personality came out. It often wasn’t pretty. I can’t imagine what going cold turkey would do 😓

I think my absolute favorite MM record is the criminally underrated Building Nothing Out Of Something...but for proper studio albums 🤔...dang...its hard to pick just one...but it's probably The Moon and Antarctica. With Long Drive and LCW on other days depending on the tilt of the earth's axis in relation to the phases of the moon 😄
