Whether your employment is at a high level club or your favorite local fast food restaurant, it's all the same. Everyone is replaceable regardless of your position as an executive, player or janitor as they have a business/bottom line to protect! So, it shouldn't be a part of your identity. You should have a personal brand separate from your employer. I'm glad he learned that.
He's still in his early 20s. He has a long way to go. Getting released by a big club isn't the end of the road.
Jamie Vardy should be the inspiration of every footballer who doesn't make it big in the early parts of their careers.
Long as he doesn’t bash a club he’ll be fine and get another opportunity
Ian Wright too
pfft Vardy is a one in a million. factually big clubs have databases of young players, they know everything from average yards covered to pass completion per game across all the leagues. Sometimes players are not good enough, they don't develop, they peak and do not improve, sometimes its mentality. Its sad, but that's how it goes. Good luck to the lad, we all wanted to be a footballer we also where not good enough, its ok.. you are still a good human with lots of other qualities than kicking a ball. good luck!
Robert Lewandowski
Honestly this is part of the problem. Such few kids can make a professional career in football compared to how many are trying. Managing expectations is very important.
Never give up Andy, you'll never walk alone. ❤
He had to walk alone while being let go by the you never walk alone people 💀
😂😂😂
They released him 😅
@@tonymontana9302🤣
@@tonymontana9302 yeah because that's how every pro sport works. Can't just keep you around because you are a nice guy. All premier league teams have an acadamey and the sad fact is 99% of them don't make it.
What a condescending comment lol
appreciate all the love and support everyone. God bless 🙏🏾🌍❤️
Professional sport is a short life. You always have to think about getting a skill to fall back on. Be smart with your money, invest your money and in yourself, and check your ego.
Good luck, bro!
Keep going brother and don’t stop. Your journey is just a little different than what you thought.
Your best days are still ahead of you that's 100% true
Ynwa
Good luck Andy come play in India
The maturity at that age is respectable. Keep going, there are thousands waiting to see you on the big stage.
The brutal side of football, always best to be realistic about a plan B. Whatever happens, don’t feel like you failed
facts
Bro I can relate so much! Got my first professional deal at 17 was absolutely flying at the time, turned 19 then got injured. Released just like that lucky to have a supportive family who helped me through it, now playing semi professional level and selling cars full time. I learnt to brush myself down focus on the present and focus on making the most of my plan b my back up plan. What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, I wish you all the best 👊🏽
Keep battling dude,
Keep dreaming big,
Keep training hard,
And never ever give up or doubt yourself ❤
"The path illuminates as you walk it". keep going
Love this guy's perspective. His upbringing has clearly prepared him for the realities of life. I wish him the best of luck.
You are going to achieve your dreams Andy, Go on! YNWA
hmm you have to be realistic
What a grounded young man! Very mature mindset for such a young age, keep striving and don’t ever let the lows define you!
I feel for all those young academy players, who just come up short. We've all had dreams, but to be that close and then be rejected, must be hard to take.
What a lovely bloke, best wishes from a retired English man in Thailand 💪
Keep going mate. You are making your parents proud and doing right by yourself. Congrats. Never give up 💪
Andy, that was uplifting. You have the right attitude to go far in whatever path you choose to travel on.
Hi Andy, I can see in your eyes you are understanding much more than most about why we are here.
We learn by how we meet and reframe the obstacles we face, that's the deal.
Some sit down and never stand up again, others walk with the knowledge that it is all a game and we have to understand we are living it in order to gain life experience.
It doesn't always feel fair, but you chose your journey in order to find out more about who you are and what value there is in learning how to live in the moment.
All is as it should be my friend it is what you make of it.
Walk tall you already have the answers and the ability to go far and to help others.
It is true you'll never walk alone. We never do.
Let go of the story you thought was yours and what you expected to be your path. I don't sense a sadness in you, why is that? Is it because you already know that you will be ok.
Be in the present how does it feel. You have come so far already trust yourself you doing great.
Keep telling your story. Be ready for the next adventure. Keep smiling.
"All is as it should be" means saying there are no injustices in life, which is a bonkers thing to say in the radically unjust world of 2024.
Depends what you view your life lessons to be. @@SvalbardSleeperDistrict

Really inspirational. "The path illuminates as you walk it" is such a powerful saying, wishing you all the best man.
what a guy man I genuinely wish him only the best🙌
💯💯🫡
Keep up the grind brother!! Great video
And there he goes Andy KANGAAAAAAAAAA GOAAALLLL!!!!!
Lots of lads get let go football is brutal but if you just enjoy your football at what level you play then you won’t have regrets. Just enjoy football mate because once you can’t play anymore it’s not great you will miss it
Keep doing your thing, young man, and let God guide you always 🙏🏾
Boss this Andy, well done on the positive outlook and being at peace with it all. Keep smashing life!
Big up Andy! Never give up! Holding on to your dream is an important fiber of life. As you said there will be lows and highs in life but they don't define you, how you learn from them does. I wish you success on your journey my Red. YNWA
Stumbled across this... interesting insight and a brilliant representation of yourself mate, keep looking forward and good luck...!
Brilliant watch. Not too long and informative, subbed
You are helping lots of people with their careers inside and outside of football, please continue.
He looks like a footballer. Solid build. Keep pushing bro
Keep going mate. You're super inspiring to all. Love and light. 👊
Your strength of character will shine through. Stay strong, young man 💪🏽
No matter what YOU'LL NEVER WALK ALONE BRO ❤ don't lose the hope! Your spirit makes me go through my tough day and feel strong
What an inspiring story..sometimes life doesn't turn out how we want or think it should...time to rewrite your own story . Good luck x
He's in the same division as my hometown club Bromsgrove, there's tonnes of talent at that level, a million different stories & lots of them still only half written, keep going Andy ynwa
Never give up bro, “I know the plans I have for you declared the lord. Plans to prosper you and not harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future🙏🏾.
U need contacts with right people that can give u options, advice and trial oppoturnities..pro football world need alot of 'in touch' with connected people..scouts,agents,ex-players,ex-teammates,media peeps, back staffs,etc..bounce back n propel ur way with right direction that suit with ur career and life
I'm sure when you graduate from Loughborough, with your background in top level football, you will be able to make a great career for yourself outside of the game. Keep up the good work.
He is still playing
Randomly came across this channel. Glad I did, like you said “Best days are ahead of you” ✊🏾
Man United fan here, good luck. All the best.
All the best Bro and hope it all works out for you. For every Trent AA, there are many many more stories of people who catch a wrong break and bad luck at the wrong time, and their future is wiped. It's super competitive at the top and the system only works the very few winners.
Liverpool saw something to have you on their books. Keep going.
Stay strong Andy, and believe in yourself.
love the quality of the video. Fire camera!
Love his mental strength
Keep on moving straight ahead
Ynwa Andy, work hard and possibly the chance will come knocking
The saudi league is building up quickly and they pay well from what im hearing. Talk to your agent or make some moves. I a liverpool fan wish you success and I hope you can come back and finish your playing days in liverpool.
the saudi league are signing big name players to boost the leagues image mate they're not signing random nobodies
Keep up, I wish you all the best!
Keep doing what you're doing mate. YNWA.
With that attitude you'll go far, very very far. YNWA mate.
All the best for the future. Dont give up. YNWA
w kanga for doing this fr
Absolutely wish you the best.
Sad story but unfortunately these kind of injuries happen in construction all the time not even just construction but a lot of industries and that’s what football is an industry when your employees have finished with you it’s “good bye “💚
Keep your head up and keep going. Do your thing, everything will work out for you . Promise.
Martinelli played in brazilian division 4 before he was snapped up by Arsenal. You never know
Really? Didn’t know that
@@thugger3794 Yup played for Ituano in Brazil
Martinelli was a 17 year old hidden gem and was deemed good enough by Arsenal to be 1st team during his first pre season.
This guy is already 21 and no longer focused on football. It's over for him.
Martinelli had trial at man utd before getting him from Brazil to arsenal
Thats true but he moved from a 1st division team to play for them because his family moved. So its not really the same it was by choice.
Keep Going Sir🙏
God Bless, keep fighting.
Good luck bro 👊🏻 don’t give up
Blessings from Jamaica 🇯🇲
MUCH LOVE FROM NAMIBIA!❤
Andy, is my frist time heard about you but as a liverpool since 20+ years ago. Remember its a compatitive and performance base sports no matter what You'll never walk alone!! ❤
Praying for you
🇨🇮thank you brother, keep going 🙏🏽
What people don’t realize when they say “why are footballers paid loads of money to kick a ball around” what they don’t realize is for every 1 great player , there are millions who didn’t make it. Keep your head up 👍🏽
Very inspirational bro
Keep going, ynwa
Your Mum and Dad should be very proud of you, they have made you into a fine young man with a great attitude and positivity that's going to get you to where you want to be I'm sure. Most of all be happy!

You will make it! YNWA
Same here, started football when i was 5 and from then on that was all i ever did, football everyday, watching football, playing manager games, my knowledge at that time was so deep.
I was never injured and then when i was 17 I was about to get a shot in the first team for a local semi pro club when i twisted my knee and from then on it healed but was never the same after that so I had to quit football, im 34 now and I still think about what if... :(
Love my brother, nipsey huddle said the ones who make it are the ones who never stopped no matter wha, if you can give 1% today and 89% tomorrow it’s all good!! God bless you never stop
You have that twinkle in your eye. You are destined for greatness.
Wishing you luck happyness and good health
Dude looks like he’s made it, as a Minecraft character
YNWA Andy, keep going, keep trying for the game you love. Might not make it here, but you will make it elsewhere, in football or in another field of life. Good luck
The path illuminates as u walk it...BARZ 🥳
Hey dude did you say you play for long Eaton? I saw you training in Coalville. Your an inspiration young man ❤
Hey Andy, you are an amazing young man. Thanks for showing us this side of football in doing so I am sure you will be helping many others to cope with the pressures that the beautiful game can bring.
Weldone Andy you got this. God got u. Seek after God He does wonders
You're judged over a long period when in an academy, the door closes on a high percentage of trainee's.
Football is a ruthless sport, what happens off the pitch is just as important to what happens on it.
I’m 41, while I was never a pro footballer I played at uni and for my town plus have some coaching badges so have some idea what goes into playing football over a wide range of levels (and in different countries). I can honestly say playing in a shit team, with poor organisation is very frustrating and not that much fun BUT if you play for a decent non-league team with a good & fair manager with your mates, it doesn’t get any better. We’d all love to be good enough to play in the prem but even if you had the talent & skill, the dedication required to be physically, mentally and tactically prepared to play at that level is why being a footballer is a full time job. In addition to the discipline and dedication, playing pro means you are always playing under pressure and on some level you are aware you are competing against your teammates. I honestly believe if you love the game, the best way to enjoy it is to play for a decent level team as a hobby, you train twice a week then play a game or two on the weekends, the level isn’t as high but it is still very competitive and for me nothing beats a good competitive game of football playing in a team of friends who have worked hard to be on the same page and you can just get into the zone and play, not think about the rest of your life. But when football is your life, I imagine it easy to lose the joy, especially in the sense that however well you prepare you simply cannot control if you play well or not, and you see how playing badly is so damaging to pros despite the fact it is not something you really have control over. I enjoyed watching the Farnham FC “non-league diaries” videos on CZcams, they show the top end of this level and you can see that while they take it seriously they really enjoy their football and enjoy the social aspect of being involved at lively small club. Just because the prem & UCL is all we are shown, it doesn’t make that the only real football. There are literally a billion people who want to be in the prem, you could do everything right and still be no where near making it for a million little reasons. Sometimes, it’s hard to see the wood from the trees but we should all play football to enjoy it (no more) but people really get wrapped up in “making it” but what difference does it make if you are the 1,000 best player in the world or the 10,000? I think if people focused more on finding a good situation for them where they can most enjoy playing rather than obsessing about trying to reach the highest level they can, they’d be happier. If you aren’t doing that you have to ask yourself do you play because you need to show people you are that guy because your dad never hugged you or some shit lol
Chin up Andy! I wish u all the best. If u want or can, maybe do some trials in South East Asia down here. Maybe a bit carefull if u try to come here with an agent u havent trust but I think it worth to try. Anyway, good luck young man!.
I support you. Just subcribed to you Andy. YNWA
Don't give up Andy... Mark Hately prime example Brian Clough let him go said he wasn't good enough to get a job in the council son!!! Ended up an England player 👊🔥🔥🔥
You’ll never walk alone!
Never give up, if Mpanzu can do it, you can as well
Vardy literally was playing non league. One of the best strikers to every grace the prem. Let that sink in....
So never give up on your dream ...
bro, watch the Under the Cosh interview with Sasa Ilac... you don't give up.
Looking forward to seeing you wearing RED again mate
keep your head held high, as one door closes, another opens. you have done more than most and have worn a liverpool shirt as a player. YNWA
