I’ve only just started watching this video and when you said you were catching a bus I had this horrible vision of that RV backing over all the gear. Cheers, Chris
Re tyres, I have a GL TT from 1992 using Avocet 700 x32 on the rear and after 26 years of use they are still fine. About a year ago I got some bulge on the front Avocet tyre exposing the tube so I replaced it. Those tyres are amazing and as they wear so well but they have almost no grip but that does not matter as it's a TT. Nice video Graham. Grtz JD.
Thanks Graham and Barry for this vídeo. Congratulations for those 470 miles. Here in South of Spain we haven't many raining days , always waiting for them :-) . Best regards.
I really enjoyed your videos. I’ve subbed a while back and got the bell going so I don’t miss anything. I bet your mate went straight into the bike shop to sort the tire problem out. Cheers from Western Australia.
Another brilliant vid, had my trike 8 weeks and still getting it ready as it had issues, the seat was in wrong position after i found a manual, the chain tubes needed doing (99p 2m black round electric conduit from Wicke's) I had to make brackets for sensor and front light plus a light bar for rear light and at present am working on making a rear mudguard lol. I also bought some pedals with clips n straps and was warned against them and folk were that concerned on a forum they sent me some spd m520 pedals n cleats so i bought some trainers lol. Once i finish my KMX 'X' Class refurb i will go out with my goextreme vision 4k and do a maiden voyage..... enough of me going on...... keep up the good work and i am looking forward to some 2018 videos
Just looking affectionately again at your video Graham as unfortunately haven't pedalled a trike for last 2 or 3 years. Had a lovely new Ice sprint here in New Zealand last but sold it shortly after as at 60, I was getting recumbent butt from the higher bottom bracket height. I am always fine with bottom brackets that are equal or lower to the seat height though and am pondering an Ice adventure or a GS GT20. Anyway love your clips and hope your both still triking. PS My old web site is "Planet pride in the south pacific". It profiles for some of my recumbent activities down here in New Zealand. Take care guys.
That was fun. I got to tour part of Europe and it was on a trike thru this video! The furthest I have been on my trike is 35 miles and I have a powered wheel!
Absolutely terrific, very enjoyable. You do deserve better infrastructure, however. England is such a beautiful country, but there are not enough cycle tracks and bike paths. As I see it, the only thing worse than a busy A-road is a busy B-road. Even less space. Anyway: thumbs up and keep'em coming.
Hi Graham, I really like your videos. I've watched quite a few of them. I've finally ordered myself a rigid 26x sprint. Can't wait to get it :-) Maybe when you get the time a little video about what clothes you wear in different conditions would be nice to watch. Also when you go on one of your camping trips it would be nice for you to show what you take with you and how you pack it all. Happy riding! Grant
You probably dont give a damn but does anybody know a method to get back into an instagram account?? I stupidly lost my password. I would love any tips you can offer me!
@Hamza Rylan I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and im in the hacking process atm. Seems to take a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Great video, hope you had some fun. As for your tires, I dont know what you where using but give Schwalbe Marathon Tire a try. I've been using them on my recumbent and I've got a set taht has lasted me over 3500 miles of touring and commuter riding.
Well I do not mount it I hold in in my hand, Its a great little Video Cam very simple it has a 2 Hour recording capacity its got a rechargeable battery and you can put ordinary batteries in it, I have mad a little video have a look on my Facebook page
Hi i really enjoyed this video, i used to cycle but as age has got the better of me i have given up, i am 63 but suffer from Arthritus of the Ankle joints and lower Back, i was considering a trike to try and get me out and about before i am carried off in the old pine box, what is the riding position like on these trikes and are they harder to pedal than a conventional bike.
@@1001Darkeyes cheers Graham, the problem i have, i have no cartlidge whatsoever in my right ankle, only partial in my left, both left and right sacroiliac joints in my back have completely eroded, osteoarthritis in both wrists shoulders and elbows, having said that I'm as fit as fiddle lol . i will look round for a dealer near me and see if i am can take a test ride, thanks for the info.
Yes a good idea my friend, test one out, but make sure 100% your leg length is made correctly, that is h most important thing. I do hope it works out for you, do not forget you can get great electrical assists for them. Good luck
Graham Williams Thanks, good to know as I plan to buy an Ice Full Fat this year, and those tyres are super expensive, so tyre wear is a real worry. I never had much problem on my KMX though so I'm probably worrying about nothing.
No Nothing special Just good quolerty locks and chains, nothing to heavy as one has to carry it around, the locks I ues it keep them safe at home is a different matter I have hightesile floor rings in the concrete and there chand to the floor with high quolerty locks and chains cant remember the name but they were bloody expensive plus I am a light sleeper and very good with a cricket bat i could and would hit them for 6 no problem LOL
Ok. I am now trying different trikes out and trying to gather as much info as I can. Have you known about many camber problems on the ICE trikes? Seems as though it is set it and forget it, just wondering. Thanks
Hi I have had no problems, it’s a very simple set up once you understand it. And as you say once you have it set up it will stay that way, only stirring joints as there where with change it slightly, but that now have rubber boots on them that lengthen the life of them. However it comes down to maintain the trike, cleaning and drying them out and Just looking after the parts. I have three Ice trikes and have owned 5 and not had any problems. There are lots of tires you can use for different riding , slicks are best for a good feel ad a faster run And then you have trekkers, made with trikes in mind and marathons, all have a different feel . In this Video I was running Marathons back and front, there more rugged and grips like glue. But run slower, great for pulling a trailer and at speed for control, and no punchers. On my normal weekend riding trike. I run Kojaks slicks all around and have done hundreds of miles on them One thing is tire inflation , max and minimum, are just that, you do not have to run them on max The marathons on the front I only inflate to 50 PSI not to Max but it depends on what you are doing if you are racing then Max is the inflations but touring it’s what you find the best set up. What make of tyre is a personal thing and what you get us to running, at the end of the day it comes down to how long they last and puncher resistance, and price. But once you have it set up correctly the tires will do their own thing.
No It’s something like you would have to hit something badly to knock it out. If it went out you would know as its harder to cycle and it would run to one side or another, when its set up you can let go and it will run straight. I check my ones once a year. And only have had to re adjust when replacing ball joints , once every few years or so if you look after them grease them with cycling grease a none acid grease it keeps the water out .
Excellent videos of an interesting trip. We really enjoyed watching them this evening in Florida. The sites were nice, the sea, the country, and the camping were all great. Can't wait for the next long outing in the spring. Thanks for sharing with us.

Does the fairing make much of adifference? Does it make you overheat as shields you from the wind?
Great video . . What stopped me watching all of it was lack of subtitles any chance of adding them in future videos ?
I will maybe try tanks for watching what you did :-)
25:48 “the trees are going quite wild” So funny.
It's a bit like a modern version of the E Z Rider film but perhaps luckily no shotgun scene .
Tyre wear. Check Camber 4 degrees/ caster 11 degrees toe in 0.1 degrees.
What on earth is that Give Way sign all about blocking off the left lane??? (At the end of video)
Give way is like a stop sign you have to stop and look
Hi Graham, Could you tell me where you mount the camera during a ride please?
Well I do not mount it I hold in in my hand,

Did the problem with Barry's tyres turn out to be front wheel tracking?
TheAegisClaw Hi No it was a bad batch of tyres, mind you he does run them at Max pressure
Graham Williams Thanks, good to know as I plan to buy an Ice Full Fat this year, and those tyres are super expensive, so tyre wear is a real worry. I never had much problem on my KMX though so I'm probably worrying about nothing.
I Run on Kojaks as a rural with no problems I run them at around 80 PSI
Just curious, do you guys have a lock for the bikes?
O Yes, But I try never to have it out of my eye sight
Ahah, that would work too! But is there a specific brand that you guys are using? Like Axa defender or something?

No problem :-)
was the tire problem due to toe in or out?
No It was a bad batch they wore out fast may be the compound was to soft
