haha…rebind, rebound, rebounded, rebinded 😉 even the rebinders struggle with the correct term.
love this discussion. i love tabs. but also know once used that bible is stuck at home from there forward.
the other thing you mentioned is so true, almost every mistake i make on operating on a bible is because i rushed and didn’t take my time.
i’m going to have to go back and watch your tab removal video as i am starting to encounter rebinding situations where removal and/or replacement is needed.

😂😂😂😂 neither term seems to want to roll off the tongue lol and yes! I want to take advantage of taking my bibles out the house without stressing. I hope my video helps! If not mine than some other video. It’s a very delicate situation when dealing with them

If you use a zippered bible cover, you can travel with tabbed bibles. I love bible covers.

I love them too! And so far that hasn’t worked either. Especially when carrying the case downward.

After taking off your tabs take a little powder baby powder is fine. Rub a little over the area where the tab was on both sides and your pages will not stick together anymore. Works great.

I have an ESV that I take to church and it is tabbed - I don't have issues with the pages getting torn or anything. The only thing I can think of for why that is might be that I carry my Bible in a case, so maybe that is keeping it from ripping?

Use baby powder on the sticky places.

@@BloomBiblically , we use what we have. I’ve used washi tape on the edges of Bible pages that get extra worn. Of course the Bible I use it on is over 50 years old, so I guess it has a right to be worn. I’m sure a lot of people are grateful for your experiments and reporting your results. 👍🏼
