It is sad when people try to apply the lessons God has for them to other peoples lives. We are all parts of the same body of Christ. We don't all have the same function. A nose shouldn't expect an eye to savor the smell of bacon for instance. It's an eyes job to see the bacon, to be able to know by sight if the bacon is crispy or raw. It's the mouths job to taste the bacon, and savor the flavor. Trust God to lead you to your function. Don't worry about how the other parts function, don't worry if you function differently. Be the best you that you can be. Walk your own walk. Hugs , and nothing but love.

I typically do one or the other. I don't usually highlight and circle a word unless it's a word I need to study further. But I keep it loose so that I can find the system that works best for me right now - especially while in seminary.

What in the world, how did I miss this video? 5 days ago I am not happy. Maybe I can dm you about the signo it maybe refillable. And I can advise you on that. Also I use crayons twistsbles in the Bible to highlight. I like that it can erase. I also use zebra retractable color pencil so no need to sharpen. Today I will try and Crayola twist able pencil and the regular pencils to see if they erase. I also use the micro in black size 5 and the smallest point size to write and Bible study map the next text. Ball point ink feather out years later. Also learn about the inks not the brands because it can be repetitive. Water ink, archival ink, oil based ink, hybrid gel and different highlighter inks etc.

Leaving this comment here just yo encourage someone. My prayer Bible is starting off with ONE prayer point as of right now and that is FEAR. I have been attacked with fear for years. Through me pouring my heart out to God more intentionally and authentically, He gave me the idea to start a prayer journal in the Bible where I actually write scripture based prayyers in the actual Bible where the scripture is located. I came to CZcams just to get ideas because I never heard of a prayer Bible (which is what I found myself calling it) snd was just trying to see if I could get some good ideas for a starting point. Everybody was putting all these cute things in their Bibles and for me and my minimalist lifestyle it was too much. I came across a lady on CZcams who showed aore simplistic way and I was like....THATS IT!!! Her video gave me a general idea of how to start it and then I tweaked it for me. Im a planner girl and a creative so I have all the crafty things. But I didnt want my prayer Bible to be about cuteness. I wanted to be able to get to the scriptures quicky as possible when im being attacked or if I have to walk the floor and read the scripture out loud. I just want to say its ok to just start with one prayer focus. Maybe its that one thing that you see has hindered your walk with God or a sin you cant seem to break free from. Maybe its this one person that eho have a burden to intercede for. Im just here to encourage you that its ok to just start with one. @Bloom Biblically said it so plain...let God lead you about what your prayer points are to be. Know that its ok to just start with one thing to focus on. I hope this helps 😊

Actually, I hardly ever pray to The Lord, telling Him 'and I Love You'.. this little prayer resonates so deep and was very profound. I like your teal journal that you showed thats really beautiful. How do you figure out what you want to do for quiet time?? Is it something different you are reading every time or do you stick to certain things ? And if so do you do get distracted or overwhelmed?? Or do you find it helpful only asking because I seem to overwhelm myself with trying to do so much or figure out what to actually stick with without trying to jump to something else 😂 please pray for me yall please

I am struggling with organizing my quiet time. I have so many things I am reading and wanting to get done. I am going to take some tike today to set up my planner for the rest of the month and make sure I check it daily and get things accomplished. Thanks for sharing your quiet time.

I prefer to highlight a passage then go back and circle key words (and write notes/prayers in the margins). This was a fun video!

I do highlight first then ink because I think the ink shows up better if I write on top of the highlights

I highlight with Mildliners then underline and circle with any generic black ink pen.

Obadiah is such a wonderful book it highlights why we shouldn’t take advantage of others and why we shouldn’t rejoice at their downfall and the consequences of doing so and yes people remove the label from happy planner items usual when they are actually about to use the item ❤❤❤❤
