I guess im randomly asking but does anybody know of a way to log back into an Instagram account..? I was dumb forgot the account password. I appreciate any help you can offer me
I love the pumpkins suhin awful. Tht solo is probably one of the most well constructed and beautiful solos I have ever heard in my life. The song itself is touching aswell. :)
I love Soma while driving, I think I'm actually one of the few people that prefer it to Disarm, I like pretty much all of thier songs but this and Through The Eyes of Ruby are probably my favourites.
I FUCKING LOVE SOMA IT'S AN AMAZING SONG EVERYTIME I LISTEN TO IT I JUST GO INTO THIS AWESOME TRANCE WHERE YOU FORGET ALL YOUR PROBLEMS IN LIFE. The Smashing Pumpkins, love them so much.
No problem at all man, pleasure is mine...and yeah gotta agree with you there about being up there...I personally cannot think of another band with so many great songs spanning over the years.
Thanks so much for posting these videos. I could only dream about this back in 1995 when I started to listen to the Pumpkins. By the way, I agree with those saying that Kenny G on the cello is so friggin' annoying.. :D
I went in '96, he didn't have hair...the original band rock, best foursome in the world by far...plus on the secret I lusted for D'arcy so much haha what kinda music does your mum expect you to like??, Nothing wrong with SP's style of music...maybe she wants you to attend some Slipknot concerts or somethings....lol
Yes yes yes!!!!, SP are great while driving, especially the older stuff like Siamese Dream, Gish, Pisces Iscariot. etc etc.... Not the same these days though...still makes me tremble when they play certain songs though, like Soma, Rocket, Starla...and tons of others come to think about it..
this performance of soma..is the only one of the lost concert gig that d'arcy & james didnt get shot on video unfortunatley, and i agree she was pretty damn hot back then..weird or not. She was hot with the long hair too. Their best song, imo.
Everyones bitching about the cello but I think its strange tone is pure pumpkins and especially fits the song which sounds very nostalgic. Anyways fantastic band, fantastic song.
I agree with you, man. I love the fact that they were not afraid to experiment with new arrangements and sounds in those years. Their gigs were a unique sonic journey every single time! It was definitely their 'golden age' as a band.
@DCneger dude i have thought the exact same thing ever since i watched this years ago. that 3rd note is such perfect blissful feedback and something i have never been able to achieve or replicate. billy is one of the greatest guitarists of the nineties just because of this solo.
Hahaha easy mistake to make... and yes SP are my favourite band without a shadow of a doubt, they have been my fave since the ealy 90's...I have friends that haven't even heard a SP song in their lives...I'm like "WTF!!!..wake the fook up" lol I love them!
i saw them at Soma in Jan 96? before they released Mellon Collie. Jonathan Melvoin was keyboardist. it was a 3 hr. show (not acoustic) and I stood in back next to the (illegal, probably) cameraman.... Tickets for the show were only available 1 day before the show at local independent record stores. I only got tix because I was working at Lou's in Encinitas
Have you heard any of the new songs that he's been releasing for free? I'll actually buy the album/double album, whatever eventually comes out. I'm still holding out faith that they'll be as good as Siamese Dream. He's always bitching that people want him to go back to this old sound. I don't think it's that they want him to go back to the old sound, just that they want him to create songs that are this intense once again ...
the cello was a bad idea.... although it could have been improved by better effects. i've heard better cellos on the shitty casio keyboards you can plunk on at walmart.
I can't stand Coldplay to be honest...I mean ok, they have had maybe 2 or 3 ok songs I guess...not a spot on the Pumpkins ass though :P check out my other Pumpkin videos..I have a few.. take care
That solo tears me apart, add Billy's apathetic face to it and my soul cries out. My personal favourite Billy solo ever.
Musical artistry and massive amounts of drugs.
that solo is soul shattering. controlled feedback is awesome.

with a cello. so good.
This song is so fucking sad and intense at the same time. Its just beautiful.
I've been listening to Siamese Dream again in my car this week and just had to go and look up some live performances, thier such a great band :D
kickass ball crushing solo
can't get enough of this song! love this version too!
Thank you MancKev. I've been watching the shit out of the lost concert.
That cello sounds like a bumblebee playing a trumpet.
I love Soma while driving, I think I'm actually one of the few people that prefer it to Disarm, I like pretty much all of thier songs but this and Through The Eyes of Ruby are probably my favourites.
The real soma was a mix of many many guitar recordings and sounded amazing. Dont think live shows do it much justice.
took me to another place..........
I FUCKING LOVE SOMA IT'S AN AMAZING SONG EVERYTIME I LISTEN TO IT I JUST GO INTO THIS AWESOME TRANCE WHERE YOU FORGET ALL YOUR PROBLEMS IN LIFE.
The Smashing Pumpkins, love them so much.
@stalefish052 My pleasure man...this concert is timeless..it will never get old, glad you enjoy it mate!
My opinion completely, easily my fave of allll time too..
One of the best version.
instant goosebumps.
No problem at all man, pleasure is mine...and yeah gotta agree with you there about being up there...I personally cannot think of another band with so many great songs spanning over the years.
G'day :P
I'm from Manchester, England. I just happened to be out in Calfornia when the Pumpkins played the acoustic gig at the Soma club.
Thanks so much for posting these videos. I could only dream about this back in 1995 when I started to listen to the Pumpkins. By the way, I agree with those saying that Kenny G on the cello is so friggin' annoying.. :D
stunned :)

Billy looks like Robert Smith at the beginning with all that hair
its packed full of impurity and isnt that great . which is probably why i love it so much. one of my favourite singers.
I totally agree, it makes me feel great too...BUT...the lryics are "so let the sadness come again"
:P
the tone of them at least
This was right before Corgan shaved his head. You could really see his bald spot on top of his head.
i will never get billy's live singing...
yeah the strings kill this song man
ditto.
Hahaha easy mistake to make...

I love them!
I saw them years ago do an acoustic session at the Soma Club in San Diego CA.
Amaaaazing....
What concert was your brother at?

What is the guitar effects billy uses in 2.05?
Have you heard any of the new songs that he's been releasing for free? I'll actually buy the album/double album, whatever eventually comes out. @SiameseRobert yea theres sumthin about it. the tones kinda off
Es que él es tan qiwibjdndkgfwnfjrkfj 😿😿😿😿😿😿
she is there, just never in any of the shots, its mostly billy and howard haha
is that the awesome chamberlain on drums?
I want to smash that cello John Belushi Style!!
The Cello didn't need to play all the time :|
@MancKev jc=jimmy chamberlain=jesus christ of drum
English language is great......
the strings ruin it
the cello was a bad idea.... although it could have been improved by better effects. i've heard better cellos on the shitty casio keyboards you can plunk on at walmart.

This performance kinda sucked. That vocal effect sounds terrible. Solo is still epic !
that is the ugliest cello ive ever heard in my whole life.
