I think the official phrase of the old NOI teachings was, "Allah who appeared in the PERSON of Master Fard Muhammad." Grammatically that can mean a number of things. It doesn't necessarily have to mean that Fard was God. It could mean Fard manifested godly attributes such as power, charisma, compassion, dedication, wisdom, knowledge, stealth, etc. There is a big gap between Fard and Elijah Muhammad, so it is hard to know what Fard really taught.
He taught the same thing all the prophet s taught. Freedom, justice and equality
Elijah Muhammad published a newspaper back in the 1930s, and in it he used to refer to Fard as prophet Fard. He also referred to himself as minister Elijah Muhammad. I believe that Elijah Muhammad himself deified Fard.
I give Wallace a lot of credit for standing up to his daddy in the name of TRUTH. It takes courage to do that and he reasoned with his mother who knew he was absolutely correct. His father's ego got in the way then he son moved on. I don't blame Wallace for being man of his conscience. DIFFER IF YOU MUST in the name of TRUTH.

Just a short example. I believe Elijah Muhammad's own brother defected from the NOI when he became leader and started to claim that Fard was Allah, saying that Fard never would have taught such "blasphemy."

I don't see the "Lies" that your referring to. Nothing that i've come across from Master Fard's teachings has any "Lies". You can't consider methodology as Truth or Lie....
Methodology in teaching anything involves examples, scenerios and problems that a student is given to solve. Symbolism and type representation along with allegories are also used. Analogies, parables and mythology often use fiction and non fiction to explain or give an understanding of an actual fact/case/situation.

What I believe Master Fard Muhammad was doing by saying to his initial students, not to call him "God" or "Prophet", is because we were simply too young as a community to handle that degree.
Elijah Muhammad knew that Master Fard Muhammad was Allah because of the 3 1/2 years of direct teaching by The Master to then Elijah Poole. The rest of us did not have this direct teaching and were too grafted to understand at that point. This is why the Bible prophesied that "Elijah has to prepare the way!"
The true believer says, "Master Fard Muhammad, I used to be blind, yet because of you, now I see, not only Islam, but also that you as an individual human being, are in fact the Supreme Being who has the highest control of the atom, and you alone do I fear"

Brother, The Min. did not have to "check" the Imam. This was no debate or competetion. It was to clarify and dispell misunderstanding. The Min. defended the teachings very well and at the same time helped the Imam and host appreciate a more broader understanding and interpretation of the teachings than they previously understood.
May he rest in the mercy of Allah, Wallace guided the flock away from Shirk into the light of true Islam and the correct relationship with the Almighty God Allah. Farrakhan just wants to hold his flock away from the truth and into his control. We all will be questioned on the day of judgment as to what we did in this life.

Well I dont say hate, just fact speaking. Color is just as important as h2o, but we are taught not to make a error where color is concerned. I recognize and respect people of color(colored man) but I have a job to my people first.

If the NOI are not muslims please explain why we make the haij. Why was the most honorable Elijah Muhammad allowed to make the haij in 1961. When after the million man march did the minister travel to over 50nations, Why in Mecca did he have to have extra security that was provided by the royal family. Why have not the imans and Sheiks silenced him. If i pray 5 times a day, fast, and do the other tenants of islam then that makes me a Muslim does it not.

there is no excuse to teach lies to get people to follow islam just because you think they wont understand the true islam. if fard, elijah, and farrakhan really believed in Allah, they would teach the real islam and recognize that it is Allah's will to decide who understands it or not. Teaching fard was god in person, or that elijah muhammad was a messenger of god, has absolutely no validity, and there's no excuse for it. God never teaches anybody to lie. Farrakhan said the same thing Elijah taught. Elijah used Biblical terms to describe Fard as was said in this interview, the bible was the lang. our people understood best. The bible describes the second coming of the saviour/God/ to be a Man not a Spirit. Not that Fard is Allah,The Originator of heaven&Earth..But that Allah would not leave us to suffer.
