Ken aren't you excluding little know fact(s)? His fame was ushered in the city and corners of America by a strong, veracious, articulate, focus, determined, fearless black man by the name of El Hajj Malik Shabazz, aka Malcolm X, with which you or I would have never ever heard of...unless your grandma or grandpa lived in Detroit and went to his meetings in his basement.

Elijah Muhammad started with good ideas, but after he was imprisoned for 4 years, he toned down his activism, the nation would basically turn from real activism to mainly religious, business and outreach ed programs which were good, but were far from the original intent of black liberation, hence when brothers were beaten in the 50's and 60's the nation didn't do anything to retaliate, so we have 2 version's of the man, the young activist and the older more conservative

they stopped the march of Elijah Muhammad, by separating him from his most beloved follower Malcolm x , the duo would have converted all the 20 million Afro-Americans to Islam and the non-Muslims to Islam too, had Malcolm lived and continued to love and work with Hon. Elijah Mohammad. If you read the FBI and the KKK writing you will notice this is what they were afraid of and so eliminated Malcolm. All one has to do is to listen to the letter which EM made it be read to massive followers of his. The letter was written by KKK to the police. As a masterstroke of a genius Hon. Elijah Mohammad read it to the followers, and he gained many more followers. See Mr. Mohammad realized the POWER ONE. IF the masses of people Unite for a cause then there is nothing no oppressive power can do. But it is easy to say very hard to overcome the divisions within. This is the magic of EM that he was able to induce the brotherly love and respect.

People didn't know anything about age of consent. There was no such thing. The problem today is that people judge the past based on what we observe in the present, which one would not always be right to do. Even when they started having the age of consent laws, I recalled in the 80's most of the southern states had 14 years old as the age of consent. If you come across age of consent laws in the 80's on Google, check it out.

    ✨Elijah Muhammad✨ ACCORDING TO ASTROLOGY:
    October 7th
    The day of defiance!
Those born on October 7th have a strongly rebellious streak which surfaces sooner or later in their lives.
Those born on this day are strongly convinced of their own belief system which more often than not is in direct conflict with the mores of the society in in which they live.
Their need to protest is often accompanied by a wish to change things positively, as they see it.
Consequently, they often seek to attain a commanding position giving them the authority to affect such changes.
Those born on this day are in fact rarely ambitious for personal reasons, but rather want to acquire power to further their social ideals.
The critical nature of October 7 people,
(being against, anti, protesting, etc.) is not always immediately evident on the first meeting due to their often charming manner.
They may seem to be living at the center of their own personal drama.
However in a short time they're piercing and insightful views become apparent.
Usually they do not mince words on any subject, saying straight out what they think, but often with a large dose of humor and some degree of tact. They have a good insight into the workings of the human mind and therefore quickly size up the personal psychology of the individual they're dwelling with at any given moment.
Most often, those born on this day do not waste time trying to legitimize their behavior but simply go ahead and act as they see most appropriate.
October 7 people, then, are very strong minded. Problems can arise when those born on this day become part of an organization. Though the group May in general and body the ideals they themselves support, October 7 people must nonetheless define the role they must play within that organization.
As their own principles and politics can be in a process of evolution, questions concerning leadership, cooperation and loyalty can become quite pressing concerns.
Another conflict in the October 7 character is between moral and immoral behavior.
Those born on this day are not a moral people, for when they sin they usually do so with a full sense of what they're doing.
But in their world of changing mores, they may not always have a firm idea of what they themselves consider wrong and right.
Therefore, they must avoid glorifying their rebelliousness while condemning those who uphold the status quo, as they may come to better understand the other sides point of view at a later date.
October 7 people may well say they only wish to be left alone.
Yet as solitary as they see themselves and perhaps wish to be, their fate seems to be thrown in again and again with their fellow human beings.
But because they are often considered Mavericks by others, they may be unfairly excluded by the more conventional in society.
Therefore, those born in this day must try to broaden their base of social contact by actively seeking out not only those whom they respect but also those with whom they can share warmth and intimacy.
Famous people also born on this day:
    Vladimir Putin
    Desmond Tutu
    Elijah Muhammad
    R. D. Laing
    Heinrich Himmler
    Oliver North
    Ulrike Meinhof
    Yo Yo Ma
    Henry A. Wallace
    Niels Bohr
    Joe Jones
    Helen Maclnness
    Clive James
    Alfred Drake
    W. W. Rostow
    Simon Cowel
Advice for those born on this day:
deal with authority problems, improving your relationship with your parents. Be more trusting of those who merit your trust. Stick up for yourself, don't be a football. On the other hand, keep your rebelliousness under control. Balance is key.

The Honorable Elijah Muhammad is the most effective teacher the world has ever witnessed. That's precisely why the rulers of this world try to erase him from history but it won't happen.

The Nation existed 20 years in many different states before Malcolm came in. His Message was to find 1 man so this “scale” is not so important this is not a popularity contest

Ineffective? Nonsense pure and simple. If you were alive and living in the Black community as I was, you knew who he was. His message hit a resonant chord with us who were sick and tired of marches, begging people who hated us to do right. Looking back on what was accomplished, we should have listened to what he said and acted on it! He told us the steel mills and factories would one day close at a time when they were still operating. Nobody listened. Now what do we see? It was exactly what he said. We were sold a bum deal. Now we see the results. He knew what was coming down the pipe. No, he was extremely effective. We reap what we sow!!!

Malcolm's problem was that he was not humble. He wanted to do things which THEM was not willing to do.
The Messenger tried to get Malcolm to understand that this was a process. Malcolm struggled in wanting to see tj vision fulfilled within his time.
The Messenger told us that the other hire man was to rule for 6,000 years. That his rule came to an end in 1955, but that Allah had given him an extension of time.
Malcolm was a brilliant man, but according to those close to the Messenger and Malcolm, he was not willing to submit to Elijah's way of directing the nation.
After Malcolm left the Nation, he began to say things that hurt the Messenger and the Nation. It was later discovered after his death that one particular member of the Nation who was actually working under cover for the FBI, who became Elijah Muhammad's right hand man was the same person who orchestrated the assassination of Malcolm X; that man was John Ali.
Ali set up and coordinated Malcolm's itenerary. He knew where Malcolm was at all times. He also informed the FBI where Malcolm was going and when he was to arrive. Unfortunately,Malcolm tried to inform the Messenger what he himself had discovered. It was Elijah Muhammad's own son Wallace who told reporters that his own father had younger children out of wedlock before Malcolm had gone public.
When he realized that he was being played, he tried sending a message to the Messenger but his personal aids refused to have the Messenger what read the letter and would not allow Malcolm's calls to reach the Messenger.
Read the book entitled " The Judas Factor: the Plot to kill Malcolm X."
The New York poilice Department were in on the assassination because one of Malcolm's body guards who was working at the Audobaum Ballroom also worked undercover with the FBI. He was as inside the ballroom as the shots rang out. He knew that their was going to be a hit. In fact he was one of the persons who contacted John Ali about the rental of the ball room several days before the shooting. The FBI and the NYPD had cased the building inside and out to make sure where the shooters were going to be sitting, and how they were goin to plan the disruption right before the shooting.

And what is it to be insincere and pretend to be working toward the eventual migration to a separate parcel of land here in the America's. When you knew that was not feasible and would never come to fruition. At least Martin Luther King was willing to put his Life on the line in the pursuit of his beliefs. Instead of just sitting idly by playing the "violin whilst Rome burnt.
