    Hi! What’s the correct level for 2021 f150 2.7eb with the #1-6 dipstick? I heard they change the fluid level in 2021 compared to 2020, thank you!

    Thanks for the video! It’s a shame the manufacturers have stooped so low as to discontinue under-hood access to dip sticks and filler tubes.

      You're welcome. Glad it helped! Appreciate the subscription. And yes, it was easier when the dipstick was under the hood for sure! It does help a little when removing transmissions, though!

    Thanks for the helpful tip. Do you just fill it through the dipstick tube? Also how do you get the trans that hot, one hardly ever gets above much 170 in normal driving.

    • @BigBensCarsAndCycles
      @BigBensCarsAndCycles  Před 6 měsíci +2

      Hi, you can fill it with a pressure fluid transfer pump. You can power brake it to warm the fluid higher. 185 is good enough

    What's the correct level for 2019 Lincoln Navigator L reserve 4x4 with the #1-6 dipstick?

      Using the scan tool verify the transmission fluid temperature is between 96ºC - 101ºC (206ºF - 215ºF). The transmission fluid level must be between 5 and 6 on the transmission fluid level indicator.

      We just check that now and is in between the # 3 and 4 on the dipstick and the transmission temp was like 210.
      So pretty sure is overfilled.
      I will keep you updated soon.

    Geez Ford could you make this any freakin harder! I'm surprised they don't make you do it at night without a flashlight while laying on a fire ant hill. And what's up with the weird numbering/lettering on the dipstick, what happened to just having one range, they can't make a dipstick specific for a $60k truck? Damn engineers!

      @@BigBensCarsAndCycles Hey Ben. I was "TRYING" To figure out how to actually get my Gauge Cluster on my 2022 F-150 "LOADED" V6 EcoBoost to Display the Tranny ANALOG TEMPERATURE. I found an explanation on a Ford Truck Web Site, and it worked! I think it's a Diagnostic Routine Hidden DEEP inside the Software?? Here is what I did, Hold the "OK" button down on the steering wheel, Start the TRUCK,(Keep holding the "OK" Button down )and Start Clicking the Down arrow Until you see Trans Temp, (mine was displayed in Centigrade). Drive ther Truck and watch the TEMP, It does Work, the Hottest mine got was 99*C which translates to 210.2* F. As I drove the TRUCK on the freeway, and around town for "39" Minutes, that's when it hit the 210.2* Mark, then it dropped to Gradually get Down to 94/95*C. and Hung right there, It was 85* TEMP Outside. After Cycling the KEY/Start Button, the Display goes Back to Normal. NOTE... During this whole Testing Procedure the Regular Gauge NEVER MOVED that I could tell, It was Basically Straight up and Down, Just like it was during the VENTING OF THE TRANNY FLUID ALL OVE MY UNDER CARRIAGE???? And as it has been since I Purchased the Truck Brand New??? WEIRD that the Regular Gauge Basically NEVER even moved a "TICK", If it did I could Not Tell that it had Moved at all??? Anyway, thought you "Might" know of this, If Not, It Does Work "On My Truck" for Testing the TRANNY TEML With an ANALOG Number, OLD SCHOOL for us Old Fart's that Like to See what the Hell is going on TEMP WEISE!!! 😎.......
