There are a lot of Must Hear songs from Pat Benatar. I only included a few below. I separated them into Harder / Softer Rock sections so you can choose depending on your mood.
FYI: Pat was invited into the Hall of Fame much earlier, but she refused until they also invited her Guitarist / Husband / Co-Writer Neil Giraldo.
      *Pat Benatar Harder Rock:*
      Heartbreaker
      Promises in the Dark
      Hell is for Children
      No You Don't (Sweet cover)
      Fire and Ice
      Invincible
Hit Me with Your Best Shot
      *Pat Benatar Softer Rock:*
      Painted Desert
In the Heat of the Night
      We Belong
Don't Let It Show (Alan Parsons Project cover)
If You Think You Know How To Love Me (Smokie cover)
      Wuthering Heights (Kate Bush cover)
      Shadows of the Night

Gotta remember this was 1983 when MTV was in its second year, videos were the hottest thing going. I heard somewhere that this video was the first time an audio was done in a video that wasn’t recorded in the actual recording of the song. Not sure. But all I know is that I would stop everything any time I saw Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston and Pat Benatar.

I've seen her in concert twice. This song is so, so good live! I just saw her about 5 years ago. Her voice is still so incredible! She was 65 then and just phenomenal! She is an ICON! Her husband (Neil Giraldo) is the lead guitarist. They've been married for 41 years and he's been her guitarist for 43 years or so. She has been nominated for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame before, but she rejected it each time. Her husband is a force to be reckoned with as well and writes the music (he's the band's musical director) and helps her write their songs too. So, she said when y'all want to induct my husband as well with me then I'll accept it and in 2022 that happened! I can't say enough about this dynamic duo! She is a classically trained vocalist.

She's one of these artists who you have to listen to at least her top 5 in order to understand the full range of her voice and talent, and also to absorb that her songs had a real edge for the time, especially coming from such a "dainty" young woman who -- on the surface -- could easily have just been marketed for her looks ... but instead she's like a little lion, always roaring. You were spot-on about her personality, though -- she has tons of it. :-)

Nuwave music came out arms 78, 79, following the birth of the punk rock scene. But yes; right near the tail end of disco. One of the reasons why Blondie; another nuwave band did their first music video, at Studio 45 in New York.
Benatar was a big fan of Kate Bush; so on her second, she covers Wuthering Heights. For which I think she did a phenomenal job at. In the song All Fired Up; she even references Bush, by using the name of Bush's first album in the song. "Gotta feel the Kick Inside!"
Benatar had any number of songs you can listen to. Shadows of the Night features a young Judge Reinhold; who at the time, was only known for Fast Times at Ridgemont High.

I thought I'd suggest another song by the amazing "Pat Benatar - Invincible (Official Music Video)" This single is the Grammy nominated track from Benatar's sixth studio album called "Seven The Hard way" and was released in 1985.

Pat has a great voice and she has a several good songs. That was the "shoulder auction", that they were giving in the dance

So glad you covered her. She's my favorite female rocker:) I love her songs "We Belong", "Invincible" and "Shadows of the Night" the best apart from this song!

At that time, the videos had to have a story and choreography to get good play on MTV. I personally like the video because Pat Benatar was one of my favorites. My friend called the dance scene “the chicken dance” and was not impressed.
