- The best Affordable Curly Hair products that I would recommend from Sally Beauty. Sally Beauty has a lot of natural hair products to choose from but these are the products that are $10.99 or less and are sulfate, paraben and silicone free. Some I own and have personally tried and some of these have me curious! Please let me know what you want me to try next from this video and I will review the most requested in my next video.

A review of African Pride and As I Am products would be great. Haven’t seen any good reviews on those. Loved the video 🥰🥰. I wish I could shop at such a well stocked curly hair product shop. Here in Europe we don’t have so many options and most of the time the products are too overpriced 😢

African Pride Products such as the Curling Cream get reviewed a lot on CZcams. I'm sure you'll find somebody with similar hair structure and porosity. Personally, I love the Shampoo with Honey &Coconut it helps with detangling and cleansing. I only had the mousse as a styler mostly for summer. Soft additional hold on top of my curl cream( I use eden bodyworks).
If you need a product with hold from as I am use the curling jelly. All the leave ins are great. I love the original and the Grogurt the most.
If pricing is an issue try Aunt Jackie's. The flawless pudding is great. So is the "quench" leave with the "don't shrink" gel.
The purple gel is great too.

I love their edge control. I think it’s one of the best. I’m mixed and didn’t know edge control even existed. My sister put me on the edge control-- life changer!

Love your videos as they have been a great help on my curl hair journey, also just a warning for those who use products that don't have Sulfate or Silcone in it I wouldn't recommend using the Aunt Jackie's Leave in or Instant detangle therapy because I used to use both of those before I realized that you should always check the ingredients and both of those have Silcone in it so I stopped using them. But since I started watching your videos I have learned a lot of about taking care of my curly hair so I appreciate you for making these videos. 😊

I would love to see you try the Flawless line. As for the Shea Moisture gels, the coconut and hibiscus one gave me a lovely wash and go for exactly 24 hours. It just had no hold for my type 4 hair. Maybe it will be better for you. The strong hold one has a reputation for flaking.

I been using aunt Jackie’s for a year now I love her products I use her leave in and curl boss gel or the flaxseed one every week for my wash n gos and the price point is amazing she surely creeping up though

Please try the curlsmith curl defining soufflé with the texture ID smoothing gel. I do this combination often and it provides strong, but soft hold. We have a similar curl type and I would love to see this on you!

I’m going to try the Maui moisture that you said you use on your son’s hair. I started using the shampoo & conditioner after watching one of your videos and my hair likes it.
The Texture ID Rosewater Smoothing Gel-Oil for my wash n go. I love that product! Also loved the Texture ID Rosewater Cleansing Conditioner; although that one might not be CG-friendly.
The Aunt Jackie's Quench Leave-In Conditioner is lightweight and great for fine hair textures.
I don't have majority fine hair, but it's low density & this works well as a moisturizing detangler and leave-in.
Have you tried the Aunt Jackie's Don't Shrink Flaxseeed Gel, Ice Curls Glossy from their Grapeseed line (my fav!), or their Curl Boss Gel? Ice Curls has the strongest hold! 😏
I am curious about the Shea Moisture JBCO Strong Hold Gel!🤔
I saw that Mielle has a new Curl Perfector Anti-Frizz with Tamanu, which also might be worth checking out. The Mielle Rosemary Styling Creme, and the "famous" Rosemary Serum. I've used the Rosemary masque before, but not the rest of the line.

Ahh well since you asked, i think sky organics may interest you. Sky organics was mainly a skin care line and they have launched a hair line a while back. I think you will absolutely like the mask and the bouncy curl cream

Thank you for posting this video. I was using Cantu until a hair owner told me it was terrible. Cantu is filled with a bunch of alcohol. It dries your hair out. I didn’t know. I switched over to Texture ID. They’re sulfate-free shampoo & conditioner (sulfate & silicone free. I checked.) $10.99 for 12oz. Along with styling cream 32oz $18.99. They were having a sale $10 off for over $40. I only paid $30, which is a steal. I got a 32oz styling cream for $10. The styling cream was really great. You can use it by itself. It’s that great. The shampoo really clarifies your hair. I do a double wash. The conditioner works wonders. My hair was really soft. I’m very happy with my purchase. Thanks for recommending them. Your videos really helped me in my curly hair journey.
I wish you did more videos about products and styles you use for your sons hair. My son has curly hair down to his back and I’ve only used shea moisture kids but would like to try others.

Loved the video, but never tried any of those products on my kinky hair crochet curls, but African Pride Olive Miracle. It is made with Extra Virgin Olive Oil, African Shea Butter&Herbal Oil Extracts, smells really good too.

The Shea Moisture Gel is a BIG no from me. Really sticky and hard to spread onto curls without ruining the curl pattern. Even on soaking wet hair in the shower it still felt sticky. Doesn’t leave a ton of shine either. Just my two cents, but may have totally different results on your hair!

I used African pride and in my town there $4-$5. I used the prepoo and shampoo and I loved it but the conditioner was awful zero slip. But great video, I currently use all products from Melanin Haircare
