At least it's still better than lithium batteries. Yes trolley wires is the most practical, but there are people who like to put form over function and the wires look messy to them. Using third rail isn't exactly safe where people can walk on, so this is one of those times where they would use lithium batteries (or hydrogen in this case).
Yeah it's not that impressive by European standards, but considering how car centric the Arab worlds are since they tried to mimic America, this is a good step in the right direction.
Nice system. Unusual power source. Thanks Tim😀💚
They tested one of those in Santa Cruz, California and I heard good things from that too.
Santa Cruzan here, it was definitely a sign of hope for rail transit in the county
what a beautiful bell sound
Wow! Beautiful.
I was amazed to see how few people and cars appeared.
Now these are QUIET trams! My bicycle makes more noise. Enjoyed the onboard ride. 🚊
When in all reality, they own a Harley Davidson Motorcycle. Lol
Just kidding.
Too quiet. Should make some noise so you can hear it coming and have time to get out
Super video
Nice tram!
Im trying to be impressed 😅
That looks very similar to the one we have here in Santa Cruz, perhaps the same company made it?
How can a tram run by hydrogen please?
Hydrogen is pointless. Wires are easy to install, we’ve been doing it for nearly 150 years.

Very fast tram indeed...any faster and we should walk rigth past him
Pls film Lusail Tram
