  • Jeff Bezos Advice For young Entrepreneurs
    In this interview with Business Insider and Amazon Prime Video India. Jeff Bazos talks about his success on Amazon, Jeff Bazos also share tips on what to focus on if you want to run a successful company like Amazon.
    -You can always do better (How Amazon Always Do Better)
    Amazon listen to their customer, their customer can teach them what's going wrong about their product. That's how Amazon get the feed back, and find the root cause deep inside Amazon system and fixed it. That's been the secret on Amazon operation success for over 20 years.
    -Guard your time
    People have very high standard for how they want their work life to be. If they can get their work life, that they can enjoy half of it that will be amazing. Because very few people ever achieve that.
    Everything job comes with something you don't like. Whatever professional you are in, there will be something you don't like.
    Jeff Bezos hate being over-scheduled. When you become a successful person, you tend to be over-scheduled. So you have to guard your time, and try to stay a little bit flexible
    -Is your choices that construct your life
    Young people that starting their career, should find something that they are passionate about. If you don't love your work, you will never be great at it.
    Young people should really think about their choices, you can get very fixed on your gifts. But your gifts are not the things that construct your life, is your choices that construct your life.
    -Be customer focused
    Focus on your customer and not your competitor, customer focused works better in the long run. Once you are the leader in your industries, and you whole culture was competitor obsess is hard to stay energize and motivated.
    But customer will always be unsatisfied, always want more, so no matter how far you are in front of your competitor you are still behind your customers.
    -Have a day one mentality
    Is great to have the scale of Amazon and have the financial resources and talented people in Amazon, and have operation all over the world. But that kind of scale the downside of that is, you lose your nimbleness, lose your entrepreneurial spirit, lose that kind of heart that small company often have.
    To do well, Amazon always have the Day One Mentality, so that they can have the best of both world. The scale and resources of Amazon and the nimbleness and entrepreneurial spirit of a small company.
    -Think about the fundamental, not the daily stock price
    If the stock is up 10% this month, don't feel 10% smarter. Because when the stock is down 10%, you are going to feel 10% dumber and is not going to feel good.
    -Think about the fundamental, not the daily stock price
    If the stock is up 10% this month, don't feel 10% smarter. Because when the stock is down 10%, you are going to feel 10% dumber and is not going to feel good.

    I don’t think your passions right now necessarily will be your passions tomorrow. You can grow a passion. If you’re good at something you can get into a position where you have a lot of control, so I think going off of skill is a much better way to determine your career rather than your current passion.

    The problem with delegation of stress from top to bottom is that the bottom suffers af. You might delegate some of your work to your lower workers, who will delegate even more work lower, who will delegate even more, until you reach the bottom most. It's a reason why warehouse workers in Amazon suffer so much....

    • @karthik7541
      @karthik7541 Před rokem +1

      Agreed!!, can you suggest any ways by which this problem can be overcome??

    • @SuperAlphaKirby
      @SuperAlphaKirby Před rokem +1

      @@karthik7541 well I'd say there's unfortunately no solution that i can think off. In an organisation like Amazon there are thousands of managers, and the probability of all of them to be understanding and benevolent enough to not delegate extra work is very low. Someone has to do the warehouse work, everyone should try their best to not end up in that warehouse position. I'm absolutely sure that all those overworked warehouse workers would also delegate work down the ranks of they were in managerial positions. It's sorta human nature. The only other way to avoid this would be some genius restructuring which I'm pretty sure I'm unaware about. After all I'm just a sweaty 17 yo with a genshin impact profile picture, i can't think of a restructuring which would benefit the warehouse workers.

      @@SuperAlphaKirby they have to watch Simon Sinek's video's about leadership
      He basically says the prime objective of a company should be the well-being of the employees, when they are treated well they provide a better service to the customers and happy customers results in good profits
      So as someone who's interested to start my own business one day, I would definitely try to bring some necessary changes in workplace
      And I would recommend you to watch his videos too
      Start by watching "Start with why" -Simon Sinek

      @@karthik7541 i support your decision to prioritise your employees well beings!! But, you should also know that there will be times when you will HAVE to be an evil boss, when you will have to prioritise company over employees. Ultimately being good ceo is about balancing these trade offs. But yes, i agree, overall employee sanity is great for the company.

      Good Bless you for sharing the honest truth about running a business. Entrepreneurship is not easy at all. But rewarding ❤️
      I have been an entrepreneur for 8 years now in my first 4 years of trading my business almost got crashed like 5 (FIVE TIMES) because of the expenses in the family.
      Then back in 2017 I was so frustrated and I got an idea of saving up $21,500 For investment so i could get more money for business and expenses but I ended up saving $18,700 and I invested it and this has totally changed my life and made me Happy till today.
      I have over $900,000 in net worth and currently living smart and frugal with my money. In this life you have to learn how to take the right decisions, work hard and always pray to God all this matters a lot.
