Everyone thinks Luigi is the villain, but I bet he’s just trying to help his brother out, I mean streaming on twitch is probably a much better job than his previous job. Sure, Luigi probably went through with it in unconventional means, but regardless I think he’s just trying to make Mario’s life better by giving him a break and taking his place. I believe it can go as high as you want, but once it reaches a certain amount, the stack becomes so wobbly that the stack collapses in on itself

It should depend on the stage, since the ammount of goombas you can add before a crash will vary with each stage

The Goombas were lead by Luigi to revolutionize against Bowser and start a warring nation of mushroom people to fight the mushroom kingdom and take the land rather then the princess. And that’s what happened. Or overpopulation that’s equally likely
