- In this episode we cover the 2021 3rd Annual RC Dirt Oval Street Stock Worlds Championship!
This was a hit on the channel with last years race being covered so we are at it again with the 2021 race coverage from the same big race that is annually held from at the Fountain Inn RC Complex.
Fountain Inn broke its record with 130 entries in 6 different classes so a huge shoutout and congratulations to CJ at Fountain Inn RC Complex!
The episode will feature my introduction followed by an opening montage which will then jump right into the A-Main Events from that race night.

Good morning sir, I’ve been watching your channel for some time and just this fall decided to build a traxxas slash street stock 12t .
My thoughts were just to get a slash out the box add a new body and get people started in on an inexpensive platform, I do have an unconventional plan for race areas but the race would be the same, but we don’t have such a class in my town so I’ve decided to start it, sir I need helpful advice about this class, I like it and one day plan to come race with you guys
The dude on the lawnmower, was he trying to lay down some rubber on the track?
Just Rolling it in. Depending on dryness and moisture it will smooth the track and promote grip sometimes spraying the track with conditioner or water beforehand.

Did I see a orange fox body mustang if so,I’d love a reply back if you know anything about that car I’d love to have a body like that
Casino 57 you did indeed haha. That body is made by JConcepts. Its actually meant to be a drag body but they still fit the traxxas based cars as well. However, the bodies are a bit more narrow in the front so the wheels may stick out a bit more due to that with the big dirt oval front tires vs a drag car. But they made it work and it looked great.
How can we look or find events like this?
Great question. The best advice I can give is to find out what your local track is or any track you're interested in and follow them on social media. Most tracks will have a Facebook page which they will share their race schedules and big race announcements and such. If you're unsure of a specific track you can usually find them with a Facebook search as well if you search by state or town etc.

So a associated sr10 won this race?
Jeff yessir. A SR10 Won the Open Buggy 2WD Class. It did have the HobbyWing Justock ESC and 13.5 Motor in it. But the Car is very capable in that class.
@@jbtricklerc awesome. Yeah we run 13.5 at our outdoor track. My in door track is open motor open esc. It's a fast high grip track. I'm on the fence about getting the sr10 or a b6.3. There about the same price. I won't be using the reedy electronics in the sr10 but they don't offer a kit for it haha. I can decide though. I hear rear motor is better because it has more grip. then I hear it makes u spin out more with the added weight in the rear and you want mid motor lol decisions decision decision lol
@@jeffbryner5355 I hear you there. In dirt oval ive raced mid motor cars (B6.2) and rear motor cars (B4). I honestly have no preference for one over the other. I've had great luck out of both and struggled with both. Once you find the right baseline setup and figure out how to tune it from there for track conditions either is very capable and great. The SR10 is basically a 2021 B4. Thats how I look at it anyway lol.
@@jbtricklerc yep and a b4 pain to work on. haha. I love working on my sc6 over working on say my slash and gen 1 sc10. Swamping diffs out is a breeze. I my just go 6.3 haha. Atleast it's a team kit. Hey thanks for the help lol

It's funny, I had a similar comment to this a while back. It's the name of the event. However, it was and always has been an open invite and anyone from anywhere could attend. We actually do have friends and fellow racers from all over the world in contact. Who knows what the representation can be in the future. Enjoy and best of luck to you in all your RC adventures.
