A hose, A compressor, A nozzle, A dynamometer, A radioactive suit, A nuclear reactor.........
Thanks guys, I've got them nozzles working now 😂😂✌✌
Vj Siwach VII hahahahaha
1:46 it is absolutely necessary the car has to be on a level ground, parked in reverse & in 1st gear. Also make sure all your tyre pressures are set correctly since one tyre set 1lb above normal can severely affect the trajectory of the jet spray.
PS all off above applies only to LHD cars as shown in the video
Don't matter how hard I tried. I couldn't park car on level ground, so I gave up !!
Same here man :(

I pulled the hose off coming from the jug and then pull the squirt and could see it squirting from the hose there so, that there let me know the issue was the between the connector hoses to the nozzles. I used a Welding Tip Cleaner and filed the holes down and put it up the connection part before and it only worked temporarily. Today, after watching you video and I did the same thing with the Welding Torch Tip cleaner and this time I felt some gunk in the shaft of the nozzle. When I sprayed the can of air into the shaft and only the nozzle, some gunk shot out of it in my hand where I could see it. Now I can see a clear opening in the nozzle too and it works. So, between using the Welding tip file cleaner and the can of air used, the two nozzles work perfectly now. Thanks for the tips and the video! :)
Great tutorial! I like all your safety precautions and yet matey is wearing Crocs! Well done!
must admit video anyoed the hell out of me but did give me a good idea, ended up stripping the plastic off a cable wrap (those things that hold cable when you fist get them or tie toys to cardboard) pull the plastic off it and its perfect for poking in the holes of the washer jet
Make sure you don't smoke, very important
I spent all my money on compressor, nozzle, dynamometer, hoses, etc, and left no money for washer fluid... Damn, i can not test them now :(
why would you need washer fluid just to test r u from Dublin?
@@meeekstubbular They're being funny.
They could be from Dublin, as they have a great sense of humour.
@@vogun52 not sure if this was for me as it's under Catalin Dinu...or it's me saying 'They're being funny.' It's so long ago I have no idea! ...In Paris we do too :) And I'm not too good a forum's gymnastic...(Rules and functioning)
Brilliant! thank you so much. The canned air worked for me to clean out the jets on my 83 HiAce camper van.
Thank you for this! Working better than before!
Where is the hi viz vest, safety goggles, protective gloves and the men at work sign, very sloppy indeed.
GAAAAAAAAYYYYYY!!!!
hard hat and safety supervisor?
Guitar string, great idea, I didn't even need to watch the whole video, worked a treat. Thanks 😁
played three tune, did not help:)
thank you so much i just got my first car and got home and washers not working but had water in i did this working perfect now so thank you
I used a 60ml syringe and some tubing. Attached to the connector pipe between the door/body, and applied pressure/suction with some plain water. It shifted it. No “asking the garage to use a bleeding compressor “ !!
Useful video 👍
But feel like in aeroplane ✈️ listening how to use the life support jacket lol
great video!! I most liked the different positions of the jets, in that they look like eyes some of the positions looked a bit wacky.
Brilliant video need to do mine jet washer now 😀
Very descriptive from beginning to end. Great job! Thank you so much for that!
Do you really have to go through EVERY step though lol XD
It's very helpful guys. Thanks 👍🏻
Pretty good instructions
Good information. Probably didn't need the tutorial on how to park my car on level ground. :) Nevertheless, this is a useful video.
Thank you mate
Hi there. The fuse may not but be broken but the contacts may be dirty. I cleaned mine and got the pump running.
Don’t forget to put sand bags around the tyres, when the needle goes on the jet.. all hell will break loose..
must have missed something here or it is a comedy show?
As Malcolm Fraser used that saying "life was not mean to be easy" ...my jet seems to have a one way valve, when you poke in them jets you can feel something like it . I can blow water through them. Both pumps immersed in water will squirt 5m away through their out pipe, yet when i connect to the hose (i blew water through with my mouth and not even back to the jet) it won't work! I'm beat!
Instructions were unclear, my head got stuck into the washer reservoir.
Excelente video Ricardo, Muchas gracias!
sounds well enough to me thanks
i used a sewing needle to clear the jets it cleared 2 jets but then the pin broke off in one of the jets how can i remove the broken off part please
Awesome Man Thank You for This Video
Thanks
Sounds like its from britian maybe. But I know in Australia they call it a bonnet. Search for the "mightycarmods" channel
My Bonnie Lies over the Ocean...lol
If you remove the windscreen with a large hammer you don't need to worry if your washers stop working.
thanks but I would wear safety boots not open toe sandals
I noticed that! All that safety precaution material and yet matey is wearing Crocs! If you using air compressors you should also wear goggles but then where does it stop!
Those are 'Safety Sandals'
Bonnet is used in the UK, never call it hood. Also we call it boot not trunk.
Thank you for the thorough video :-)
No worries glad you found it useful! : )
You're most welcome :-)
I'll try it tomorrow.. :-)
I followed the steps and have a leak at the T under the "bonnet". Probably a waste of money to replace the pump.
1:15 never connect the high pressure hose like that, it damages it by time. Don't fold it and push on it while folded like that...
were was this made it called i hood not i bonnet just wondering
What type of average driver will have all that equipment? !
People. Read and remember.
Biological laundry detergent liquid. Any brand, choose your fragrance.
Fill 10% of your screenwash tank with it. The rest with whatever you like, water, regular screenwash, whatever.
Activate your screenwash pump a few times to get it circulated in the hoses. Do this in the evening when you don't need the car until the following day.
The blockage will be cleared by morning.
If not, repeat trying to use the screenwash. The blockage WILL clear. Guaranteed!
Laundry detergent is also a brilliant summer screenwash. 5% dilution is sufficient.

Not wearing a yellow hard hat? How careless.
I already did that and not working It might be the whole tube
Never put just water in the washer bottle for two reasons. 1. It doesn't clean as well as dedicated windscreen wash fluid. 2. In frosty weather the water in the bottle will expand and crack the bottle, then you have a leaky bottle.
Absolutely right.
fucking awesome man i love you
Yeah I'll just buy the nozzle instead
Don’t put a manual car in first gear when parking. It damages your transmission gears over time. The parking brake is literally there for that reason, to disallow your car from moving. Considering you’re supposed to get your car checked every year, your parking brake should work fine.
Nah, I'd rather put it in 1st, just for safe measure.
Wow. Sounds more like a driving lesson
Bonnet?
A lot of tools for a little old thang!
And the prize for stating the bleedin' obvious goes to.....
Every proper mechanic will smoke while doing this, as he will while doing any other repair... Fire hazard? What are you using in your shieldwash? Light fractions of oil? For fucks sakes... Where I had my practice the guy I worked under and adored didn’t spend an instance without a bud in his hand... He went through two boxes or more a day and still does... Never caught fire despite working near open petrol tanks and what not... It’s the fumes that are a problem... And if you can’t smell petrol fumes, you have bigger issues than getting blown up for smoking near it might cause...
Safety Lmao. Hes got copper lines for air. Plus the copper line is held in place with non copper components. Rotten copper and compressed air.
Looked everywhere but couldn't find the jets
Did you check in the glovebox?
Colour BANG and the dirt has gone.
No smoking? Why not?
unfortunately my nozzles will not unblock, and having trouble finding a replacement nozzle
If they are clogged with minerals from the water, take them off and leave in vinegar overnight (or some other liquid that dissolves the built-up minerals). For future use never use tap water because it will happen again. Use window washer fluid or distilled water (distilled water only during warm weather). Usually hard water is the issue since cars have filtering mesh on the holding tank intake, so dust and other stuff that can clog the nozzles are filtered out at the mesh.
I had tried that. A friend of mine unclogged them with fish wire. working great now
Good to know. As I'll do the same in next few days, can you tell me the vinegar didn't work or the clogging was by another means (not mineral buildup)? I tend to use vinegar on most cases where I have to remove mineral buildup from hard water so your input could save me time :)
i figure because we have soft water where I live that CaCO3 buildup wasn't the cause.
gotcha, thanks for the reply!
very leet number plate
You didn`t mention Thermite, that unblocks most things....
fox terrier do the same.
Look at my windscreen washers.
Don't smoke period 🌟👍😞👌
Warning this video is all about how to wash the washer jets
WARNING!!! ⚠️ Update as of January 2021... This can only be done on your private drive if you have one and not on the public road ~ Use hands sanitiser and let your hands dry. Put on a face mask and rubber gloves, keep a distance of 3 metres from other people and most importantly! Stay at home and don't drive your car unless going on your own to the shops 🙄
Fuck it mate. I think I'll just sell my car instead!!!
wow. this was nozzle cleaning for dummies. "don't smoke" 😁
but don`t forget to have a car before doing all safety needed :)
+NASA PPE EQUIPMENT...
Sounds British, why has he got a LHD vehicle?
why so much common sense health and safety rubbish ? which is just common sense. It detracted from the helpful information in the video.
👍👌❤🙏
Excelent
Jesus Christ , save yourself a fortune and go to mechanic or buy a new car be cheaper then buying all of those items
I agree, you need to spend a lot of money on the garage, foundations, land, bricks, roofing, concrete, cement, joinery, plasterboard (maybe) then there's the design, architect, electrical supply....
horrible how to video
super clear though!
The guitar string idea was helpful, I just got my jets working, didn't even watch the whole video, I have loads of guitar strings lying around, but I didn't even think to use them. Just getting dark too, happy days.
Talk about going round the houses - you could have explained this in 30 seconds instead of 5.40 - too much waffle
poor guy, can't please everyone! But 30 sec ok only if it is the jet, when you have to take off the wheel arch and work your way right through it may then take ...35 sec or may be a little more ha ha
Oh dear
Bonnet?
Hood
planetscott1 yeah, that's what we call a 'hood' in the UK. Same shit really, covers your head or head gasket 👍🏽😁
