But I heard you could better not say names or yes/no because they can cut your voice saying that out of this phone call/record and put it in a tape. Like it fills in the blanks if you know what I mean.. So they will have your information and your permission to 'do' things. Or are voice confirmations not valid? Very curious how this works..

first, when i get a call i want to know if it is for me. if they don't ask for me i ask them "who are you calling for" if they don't answer me, i hang up. i never answer yes to any of their questions it leaves them open more scams like ordering things and having your approval. i also will ask them to hold for a minute..set the phone down and find more important things to do.

You aren't supposed to say yes to anything they can record you and get you with that.

We've tried lots of things. Then, a couple of weeks ago I had a brainwave - I wrapped sicky face up duct tape at each end of the perch. I sealed the edges with the same tape, sticky side down to prevent them crawling underneath. The result was outstanding - many thousands caught every night. Thing is, most seem to be freshy fed mites returning to their lair but scratching my head (sometimes literally, lolz) - not sure how they reached the hens overnight, even the unfed ones.
