Just wondering in which cases you would prefer this extended Bowline to the normal Bowline? Where's the benefit?

The Harry Butlers Yosemite Bowline is preferred over the regular Bowline in the following cases:
Increased Reliability: Extra wraps make it more resistant to slipping under heavy loads.
Prevents Loosening: Better at staying tight with frequent tension changes.
Enhanced Safety: More secure if the rope is wet or slippery.
Climbing and Rescue: Essential for anchor points where knot reliability is crucial.
Overall, the Harry Butlers Yosemite Bowline offers greater reliability, resistance to loosening, and safety in demanding conditions.

Thank you! I'm glad you found the explanation clear and helpful. The blue color really helps in visually distinguishing the steps, making it easier to follow and understand. The Extended Bowline is indeed an impressive knot, offering enhanced reliability and safety compared to the standard Bowline. Whether you're using it for climbing, sailing, or any other application, it's great to know you appreciate the clear demonstration. If you have any more questions or need further clarification, feel free to ask!
