In 2022 we still need to watch tutorials to simply transfer picture on our computers. Apple is incredible
And the fact that we need to connect it with a wire, wireless is nearly impossible. Great going apple!
I’ve always bought apple but shit like this has me changing my mind.
I’m over apple
It still wont even let me transfer all of them, it only get a random 50% of them
its 2024, bro.
This video just saved all my memories. What you demonstrated in just a few easy steps the apple guy confused me with for over an hour. Thank you!! You are a Angel
That's why I came to your page, my storage is complete, and every activity on my iPhone was stacked! And now everything is back to normal!
i can honestly say it worked like i never imagined, usually 99% of these kind of tutorials are scams, but this is for free, it works, thank you a million times!!!
thank youuuuuuuu... adorei esse tutorial pois o iCloud é um belo lixo, demora horrores pra sincronizar, pelo USB é em menos de 1 minuto
I was in secondary school having this issue, I'm 22 now and you gave me the solution. THANK YOU!
The easiest and the most straightforward solution without downloading anything. Thank you so much!
Heads up to you! This has been my problem decades already and now it's very easy and 100% free. Kudos to you!
Thank you so much, your video is so much simpler than the others I’ve seen. You’re a lifesaver 🙏🏼
THANK YOU SO MUCH for sharing this with us! I always had such a hard time doing this. You just made my life so much easier!
Daniel, You are really good explaining all the process without skip any step, this make your advice 5 stars, Congratulations !
Thank you so much! A life saver tip. I had to delete almost all the apps I have because I ran out of storage for the videos I took from concerts.
Iphones I think are the most difficult phones to deal with when transferring photos & videos to computers, hence I feel they are the stupidest phones but unfortunately my daughter insisted on buying iphone XR and now we are stuck as her iphone memory is full and we are unable to transfer the data. As suggested I use authentic iphone cable but got the notification, 'to allow' only once when I connected iphone for the first time to the laptop. After that I don't get any pop up asking to allow or not.
same
iphone is an absolute piece of shit, transferring wont work and fails half way through and my phone storage is full
I agree
Same🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️
Agreed 😢
Thank you for keeping it simple and to the point! Worked like a charm!
Ironically transferring photos must not take more than five minutes
If you keep getting a error message after doing what he says, also do this! Go to your iPhone settings, scroll down to photos, scroll down to the bottom and tap on keep originals not automatic, now try it. It will work 👍
OMG THIS ACTUALLY WORKED.
I love you.
Goat 🐐
I LOVE YOU
Perfectly simple and straight to the point!!
Thank you so much. After years of postponing to learn how to do this I finally did it in 3 minutes because of this video. Again, thank you bro!
This deserves a million views! Thank you so much. Simple and concise explanation 🙏🏼
Not Helpful at all. While importing its failing again and again.
@@bilalmsd07 I spoke too soon... It kept failing and failing for me too... Did you ever find a fix?
i mean it has a million views now
Thank you so much for the excellent clarity of explanation and showing what to do. I am of the older crowd and need lots of help with a computer.
Thanks for this! I just wasted about 2 hours because I had this error and couldn't figure out how to get the pop up to come up again. You're a life saver!!
I'm in awe!!!!! A very simple solution to a problem that seemed impossible to overcome. It seems everyone wants to push you to a cloud based solution to importing photos which is total overkill for what I'm trying to do which is simply import photos (selectively) and view or edit them easily. Thank you Daniel.......Deano
THIS IS LITERALLY THE ONLY VIDEO THAT ALLOWED ME TO SUCCESSFULLY UPLOAD MY IPHONE PHOTOS THANK YOU MY GOD
Yes but in the wrong .heic format.... You want them saved in jpg.
@@PanzerbeastDo you know how to tranfer file in jpg ?
Thanks a lot for this. It used to ask me if I wanted to import photos after plugging my iPhone in but it stopped doing that. Now this video helped me out a lot. :)
Edit: Nevermind, this is the most frustrating thing ever. It constantly tells me that “something went wrong” and it is so annoying. It used to be extremely easy to transfer your photos & videos but now it is impossible. Apple sucks sometimes.
Holy crap thank you... been having issues with importing the stuff directly from the folder it would always give me an error... thank you so much, never knew the photos app could do this and much MUUUCH faster lol...
Great video! Super helpful for those of us that do not have a Mac, and don’t want to deal with iTunes
Jan’24 review - This YT video is pure gold. Transferred almost 5.5k pictures and around 700 videos in under 30 mins. Very easy and fast. I’m happy :)
Were the actual details of the video or the picture, also got transferred??
I mean the details like when was the actual video taken or any photo clicked. At what time etc.
details are transferred@@aadityagarg2956
date,time, camera settings etc
can you help out. nothing is working for me, i have 5400 items off my phone i need to move to my computer, and i think my phone runs out of "ram" or something and then throws a bullshit error up, i cannot figure this out.
break it down into 600-700 items at a time@@snxwyvxbes7335
In my iPhone XR photos app, I've made folders to organize my photos. Will the import to my PC show(include) the folders and the photos in the folders? Your video is really good and explains the process very well. Thank you so much!
dude thank you for getting straight to the point, no click bait, no bs, i learned immediately how to do this thanks.
An important step is to enable "Keep originals" on your iphone settings>photos>scroll to bottom. It would give errors for me on transfer until i swapped from automatic to keep originals.
So helpful thank you.
Yes but then you can’t view them because of the format it transfers them
@@embosity675 mine transferred them fine, can view them on the pc and on the phone still
Thanks a lot bro u saved me
omg tysm, I was so confused why mine wasn't working
Fantastic, clear and concise instructions...thanks you.
this is the best way i have come across. using the technic already there in your devices . without installing any third party softwares.. good work bro keep it up
I searched so long for a simple answer! Thank you so much for this!
You are succinct and clear. Great job. best on the web!
Thanks for putting out this simple procedure. Nothing can beat the simplicity of Windows, period.
And android
@@notdacoolest007 you damn right
Thank you so much for your simple instructions on transferring photos. I have had numerous friends & family who did not how to do this so easy.
Thank you, thank you thank you…. I haven’t done this so long I forgot how to do it. I was in a world of pain trying to remember until I watched this clip. Thank you 🙏🏽
Here to let everybody know that this method on Windows 11 compared to Windows 10 from my experience is super easy and that error message has been no existent.. Only thing that sucks is I haven’t seen a ‘delete from device after import option’ like it did when Windows 10 rarely worked.
Worked Beautifully!!! I had over 6000 images and was able to import all within minutes!! Thanks a million!!!
How?? I have over 6000 images and videos and errors keep occurring, and even transferring 10 photos take like 5 minutes….
@@bilbzzk8618 same here! found any solutions?
Bro pls tell use how I have 3k photos and vids but it doesn’t work
Hi, does this retain the original metadata on the photo, including name/number, creation date, location etc? Does it also retain the original resolution?
Thank you it was so easy! I just had to be a little patient when it was looking for my device.
Even after I reset the settings for my phone and plugged it back in I got the message and hit Trust but it didnt work again and ive been in this feedback loop for years...
Worked awesome. For some reason, it never did work with the windows 10 photo app before. I'm glad I decided to give it a try again an used your video to follow along.
I had been trying to do it manually from the Windows file manager, thank you for this simple solution!!
Great! I am with you all the way through to the end. Photos appear in the destination. PHotos are either deleted from phone or still there depending on if you choose the delete function. What I don't understand is that when I open Mic Photos apps all the photos I moved still appear. If I have moved them to a destination, why are they still in the app? Is this taking up additional storage space on my computer? Thanks for the help....
I think it depends on the setting in where you want Photos to look. If the destination folder where you transferred the iphotos is included in the settings then I think it will pretty much appear.
Thank you so much! you didn't advertise anything and told us such a simple way to do it
You just saved me so much stress. I am new to iPhone and have found it so hard to import videos to clear up space. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! You are amazing.
Okay I did what you said, but it doesn’t download in the same order as they were taken. I took pictures on my phone of clothing I want to sell on eBay. But when they were transferred, the clothing pictures of one item is scattered. Why does this happen?
After following your steps carefully, the windows app only retrieved about one in forty of my iphone photos. It did those well and that's all. Why is that?
thanks for the tip. Q: does it keep the original quality of the photos? for example...if i want to export pro res/raw photos, is keeping the same format and details?
thanks
thank you sm ive been spending hours just to find the right tutorial video for this, thank god i saw ur video!
This seems like a super smart idear-Thank you 💖! The thing I dislike about exporting iPhone photos onto the desktop of my PC is that they show as these random numbered folders which do not match anything I see on my phone. Makes organization extremely challenging. I am hoping that using your method will change that. For example, I’d like to just be able to dump my excessive amount of Videos off my phone onto my PC, but even when I attempt a search for them within a given random numbered folder (using IMG and MOV) they did not show up. Weird and frustrating!
This method populates by month. So I make month-year folders and copy by month. Just an idea. Make the destination folders in advance. Select folder of choice each time
Doesnt work. reset my iphone and everything. PC will show me my iphones videos and photos but when i try to import them it sits at 0% then i get an error just saying "something went wrong, files have not been imported". can NOT find any possible way around it
thank you for the clear and easy explanation , and for taking your time on every step to get through this painful but beautiful phone😂
the best tutorial I've seen about transferring files (photos, videos) from iphone to usb
Hello, I am having an issue with this. Everything works perfectly until it opens the folder to show my iphone pictures. It will only show my last 99 photos instead of showing over 1,000 which is what is actually on my phone. I used an authentic iphone charging cable and everything. If you have any idea as to what the problem is, I would appreciate that very much :)
Try to go on the setting app on your iPhone, then go to photos. Down there is transfer files parameters, you can chose between "automatic" and "original". If it's on automatic, switch to original then try again on your pc.
@@Dylanlemas i had the same issue and it worked! thanks
I have same issue and solution with changing from automatic to original didnt work at all…just selected 49 photos…and I have thousands of them….Anyone knows what is the matter???
I had an issue with error after pressing "import components". In my case the tip from @Dylanlemas helped to avoid problem, but!!!!! I'm not able to see any dates and other additional information as well. So would not recommend. Gonna check other methods of transfering with dates, etc.
Hi letting you no people are not going to see your question were you have posted it, you would be better asking in the main comments section. You could upload your photos to internet storage like icloud, google drive etc and download onto your computer
IMPORTANT THING:
For all the ones who get the error saying "Please allow Microsoft to access the photos" although they allowed it on their iPhone. You need to go to the Options on your phone, then to "Photos" and on the bottom switch to the option "Keep the originals" - after doing that you'll get no error anymore
Thanks, this was absolutely necessary to make it work.
I still dont receive the message from the pc to the phone
Thank you so much, brother.
it still doesnt work
I would recommend you to use 3utools instead because it's quite easier to transfer.

Great Video, One QQ - I dont have enough space on my C drive, Is there any option to change the import folder path to some other drive?
Thanks in advance..
This was so helpful and so easy to follow through thank u
I keep getting the error message on my laptop even after doing the reset you showed on your video. Please help.
The same here. Tried several computers and shows the same errors. Not sure what's going on.

This is super helpful! I'm still having issues though, I get all the way through to the last step where my computer should be importing, it sits on the "importing 0 of ###" screen for a few moments and then says an error occurred. I've tried doing the privacy & location reset after unplugging my phone, shut down and restarted both my PC and iPhone, double checked to make sure the images and videos are on my phone, not the cloud, nothing seems to be working. Additionally, after I get the error message after the import fails, it's like my computer can't find my phone at all anymore, even though it was just showing me all the thumbnails of my phone's videos and pictures, and even though I am keeping it unlocked and even turned off auto-lock. I'm so lost! I've been trying to figure this out all day, any advice would be so appreciated.
@@qiiiqee17 That's actually what I've been doing, and if I remember correctly, part of this tutorial, unless I mistakenly clicked the wrong video when I came back to ask for advice. I've also tried it the way you describe by accessing my iPhone through "This PC" (instead of the Windows photos program) in my files and I've tried dragging and dropping but it won't work. I know if the photos are actually on the cloud I can't download or copy them in these methods, but I did double check to make sure the photos I'm trying to transfer are not on my cloud. I'll check out the other video, thank you.
@@qiiiqee17 just tried it and no luck. I've tried the OEM USB C cable that came with my iPhone and a different USB A plus all the standard trouble shooting tips, yours in both videos, and quite a few from Windows and Apple. Something that happens after I try uploading pictures and videos taken with my phone (I get all the way to the last step after I've seen everything on my phone and made my selections) is that my computer will tell me there was an error and then it won't even connect to my phone, it doesn't even matter if I reset my iPhone's privacy settings. I'm wondering if they are actually in the cloud even though my phone tells me they aren't.
@@elliottesheffield2654 ok, I hope you finally figure out a solution. If not, maybe the only option to transfer your videos and photos is to upload them to the cloud (Google Drive, Dropbox...) and then download them in your pc. In a similar way, if you have Microsoft OneNote in your iPhone, you can insert your photos and videos (I think 20MB max each one), and then open OneNote in your Windows pc to see this new note synchronized.
@@qiiiqee17 thank you for your help! I was using a different method and filled up my 30 day storage and there is no way to delete it apparently, so I just have to wait. I will probably try Dropbox or something. Thank you again!
@@elliottesheffield2654 ok, you're welcome! :) I've seen your other message (when you mention the OEM USB C cable) just after sending my last message, i.e. we have sent messages at the same time hehe Good luck again. I do not have iPhone and I can not try anything but I hope you find a solution :) These things are so frustrating...
🙏🏼 Thank you so very very much. I’ve been air dropping pictures & videos back & forth to & from other devices 😅 you’re such a lifesaver.
Within minutes it’s already transferred almost 1400 pictures & 85 videos 😊🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Is it so fast ? Will try this on windows 10 today
@@MotoSpy07 i have windows 10 and it does not work. did it work for u?
OMG thank you so much Daniel. I did exactly what you showed in the video and it WORKS
Thank for your video, I'm trying to do this right now, and finally photos were transferring to the laptop, but out of the sudden it stopped and doesn't want to connect anymore! and I have followed everything you said.. what should i do?
if you have anti virus software on your PC or LAPTOP disengage it while doing the transfer. See if that helps, if not? I don't know sorry.
czcams.com/video/Eh-WuBp6ykE/video.html Try this one. There's some other setting in the photo app that got it to work for me.
Just tried to do your process but I keep getting a pop up window that says "Something went wrong. Your files might not have been imported (More Info) " with a big RED X and the option to "Try again" or "close". I've tried multiple times using your process and only trying to import just one photo but still get the same message. Frustrated. Help?
Same here bro
I was having the same issue. However, I turned of the iphone lock screen. It worked when my phone wasn't locking every 2 min.
For me too tried out of times just copied few pics then that pop up arise
I am having the exact same issue! Has anyone been able to work out how to fix this? I can download 124 photos and 4000 remain on the phone.
I’m getting the very same message and problem
Can you assist
Thanks man! Really needed this cause if you go to the normal folder app it's so messed up and really difficult to find the right one.
Thank you!! It worked 😊
Thank you for this video. Been struggling to import my photos and videos from my iPhone to my laptop. Thanks to you, my problem is fixed.
it doesn't work for large video files. Did you find a solution for this?
Same question :(
I just uploaded it on google drive instead
Actually I was facing some issues and I found the fixes after looking up for a long time
1.something went wrong
2. you couldn't find your phones internal storage which also blocks your ability to import files using photos
fix:
1. on your iPhone open settings-photos-tranfer files to pc or mac-change to keep orginal
2. like in the video around 4:40 try resetting and that should fix the this issue
Thanks for the tip. I got stuck with the error message from Photos app. =)
You are a life saver
This saved me. I was losing hope until i did this and it worked just fine. Thanks a lot
@@sebastianpolanco6352 happy to help :)
I did this but the side affect for me is portrait mode pics are not importing properly, they are cutoff. There seems to be 2 pics, one without the blurred effect and full size, the other with the blurred effect but 25% of the bottom is cut off.
I left it on automatic and it works with couple pics at a time, but the pic are JPEGS not HEIC. And it doesnt work with lots of pics at once
thank you so much, it worked really well!
all the other videos say that i needed a specific app!
Such a simple solution u gave whereas this have thousands of complicated solutions over the internet. Thank you man.
Any chance this could work for like 30,000 pics and videos at one time? I have tried to transfer a million times with errors on every try and so my photo library got so massive cuz I couldn’t transfer. If it can’t do 30,000 at once can it do a select few thousand at a time? So that I can just do several transfers over time? Please help, I’m at my wits end. Oh and can they go straight to an external hard drive? I don’t want them on my laptop
MEEE i have 40k pics on my phone
@@feliperooney buy this: SanDisk 256GB iXpand Flash Drive. You would just have to delete off when it’s full and then back up the rest. In my case was about 30 K, and then you would have to Back up the rest of the 10 K on your flash drive. Hope it helps. It saves me from like a ton of hours of trying to do this other ways, that never worked fully.
this method is not full proof .. often it doesnt read all files
Thank you for this. I can’t believe there was such an easy solution already built in.
Unfortunately the lightning cable is of good quality but not the original one and I’m having disconnection issues although it’s getting there.. slowly. My laptop doesn’t have a Type-C port..
Thank God, I've been waiting years for something like this!
Well.. in my case I was able to import just 696 pictures from my total 5001 and not 1 additional Photo will import. Sitting here since 6,5 hours - tried all tips and tricks i could find - NOTHING works.
I'm really tired of this sh*t. It's 2023 - we have electric self-driving cars, drones and all sort of crazy tech, but a simple task like importing Photos does not work..
This is making me so tremendously mad, I cant even find the correct words to describe my anger. Grrrr!!!!
On Your iPhone Settings->Photos-> Transfer to MAC or PC-> Keep Originals. I hope this helps
I did all of the steps however only one photo is popping up for me to import….maybe it’s because I have over 16,000 photos/vids on my phone :(
Yes unfortunately this methode isn't stable and have dificult to handle large amount of files and it remain very slow too.
Best way remain an USB stick.
You can try VLC media player and use the feature Wifi sharing.
czcams.com/video/Eh-WuBp6ykE/video.html This worked for me.
Super super helpful thank you bro. I am subscribing to your channel i was looking for this knowledge from months. Thank you.
YOU ARE A GEM! OMGGG GOD BLESS YOU! I have been struggling for so looonggg! This is so easy thank you so much! 😍😍😍
If you are still seeing the error message after resting the phone location as you see on 4:40,
1. Go to Settings -->Photos---> scroll down and click on “Keep Original” under the Transfer to Mac or PC tab.
2. Reset the according to 4:40. After that it should work hopefully!
Loved this and it worked just as you said, thank you!!👍
It worked with some glitches, I think sometimes the phone just needed longer to load, sometimes I forgot to unlock the phone, sometimes I think it hit a glitch with specific photo so I did smaller batches. Finally did transfer about 1500 photos 👍🏻
Hello, Daniel; another brief valuable video.
I watched the video because I need to reclaim storage on my iPhone.
Therefore, if I select delete after transfer. Will the photos and videos still be in my Cloud?
Will iCloud sync the photos and videos back onto my iPhone? (which I do not want to happen).
Or, after the transfer to the PC, how can I manually delete 4000 items on my iPhone - to free up iPhone storage?
Thanks for such a easy, concise way to transfer photos from my iphone 10 to my computer!
Excellent video, explained perfectly! Thank you!
Great teacher, tried a thousand times until i listen to the video. Perfect
Thank you so much for this video. Simple solutions and good instructions. It works for me!
Actually helpful, someone else's video didn't mention how to do it when import doesn't recognize your iphone.
You sir have saved me a lot of time, and for that I thank you.
thank you so much it helped me, specially after switching from mac book to hp windows i felt lost
Simple and precise. Watch-do it-Done. Thanks
This is by far the best solution I’ve come across the entire freaking internet to backup the photos and videos! I was almost feeling like giving up because I tried the network sharing method through files and it didn’t work!! Kept saying unable to share even though both my devices were connected to the same computer!
This was very helpful man, thank you!
Thanks for your video with your easy instructions.
My problem is that for a claim form I need to reduce a photo from over 4mb to 2mb is that possible?
