Nothing better than building exactly what you want to ride, and then riding it over and over makes you such a better rider. Nice work!

Cheers! You are exactly right! So satisfying to see the trail take shape

Just a thought, you should square up the edge of the take-off to the landing on the last step down. that makes the trail more instinctive for new riders. It could be the video, but it looks like the take-off points you into the tree on the right.

haha you are right, it does point a little bit towards the tree but I think it looks worse on video than in person. If you go straight you will still land on the landing. I would definitely have built it different if it was a public park though.

Your digging motivated me to also clear out some trails on our home mountain. Greetings from Austria.

cheers mate! yeah it's pretty ideal aye!

if you don't already have one, I'd heavily recommend getting a mattock since it is so good at just digging into the dirt or just moving it. Otherwise these are some sick trails you guys aree building and a wonderful plot of land you got, wish you some epic building days in the upcoming summer.

Cheers! We definitely need to get one. In fact most of the day we were discussing how we should have bought one for this build hahah.

@@BlueSkyBoys if you really want to go baller I'd heavily recommend something like the trailblazer tool, managed to try one out from a friends and holy was it efficient and good to use, it cuts into the ground so nicely and the added rake to just move the dirt was so convenient.
Edit: Mcleod is another name for it

Very cool build vids. Love seeing others put in massive work to make great trails. How big is your backyard you get to play around with?

Cheers! Appreciate it! It’s quite large. Probably 10 acres ish. Not sure on the exact elevation but it’s steep. Could probably build a 2-3 minute long trail if you were careful of not using too much elevation at once.
