What size is the bike and what’s yr height? Thanx

got this bike 2 years ago (with 27.5 wheels), and I've been looking for an excuse to change it (mainly because of the paintjob - I find it a bit boring, but it was either raw metal or that weird looking red/orange one) but I just can't find a reason to do it! Yeah, the MTB prices have been falling at Canyon, but the new ones still don't come close to the 2022-23 models. It is light, it's agile, it has great components, front and rear have a longer travel than the old and new ones, and the most important thing; it has never let me down. The Spectral 6 by far one of the best bike purchases I have ever made, and I don't see me changing it anytime soon

The Lyrik Select+ in my opinion doesnt feel basically any different from the ultimate version, the only differences are that the ultimate has longer bushings and the buttercups

I have the Norco Fluid A2, 2023. Zero complaints about the Bike, I have thrown it at everything, I live in Quebec the terrain is extremely rocky and this bike takes a beating and keeps going. I do think it could go with a few modifications, but keeping the bike stock is just fine. Overall a good price for what you get.

Im high end slash owner. But imo the new frame was ugly af and high pivot makes it even worse. I always thought Trek bikes have great looks. But this one was abomination.

If they set it up to be highly adjustable, I would have bought it. It wasn't enough on the enduro side like the Specialized Stumpjumper Evo. It's a great bike to ride, but I added a WRP yoke, and a Cascade link to my mixed wheel Evo, and it handles enduro just fine, and rides and pedals awesome on the trail.

I own the previous switchblade and do primarily normal trail riding like most do, which is lots of uphill as well. I run my bike in the high setting still with 29er wheels, and for me that's a much better setup for 98% of my ridetime. I have yet to have any weird over the bar moments while going down so for me this is so much better. That 0.5 degree lift does wonders while climbing as well as a lot less pedal/crank strikes. I have several techy uphill sections where I usually ride and these are just pain in the low setting. Just because the flip chip is marketed as you're supposed to put it in the high setting if you go mullet, doesn't mean that you cannot experiment on your own. I recommend at least to try flipping it with no wheel change, and maybe it could be something for others as well. I say maybe, because we all ride different places, have different skill levels, ridestyle etc. I just haven't seen/heard anybody else trying to flip it whith no wheel change and I recommend at least trying it once.

Sorry I wasn't able to show you guys around. Somewhat relieved as I worry you would have convinced me to do all of Pretty fly. My plan is to add one jump a year and complete it for my 60th.

How would you feel about turning this into a mullet with a 27.5 in the back?

How long was the ride? Did it feel like it was a challenge to pedal up things or is it ok to take it on long rides?
