Old Granddad bonded is really good. Its fault is a bit hot on the finish, but the flavor is awesome to me. I have bought bottles costing 3-4 times as much and not liking them over the Old Grandad. Many of them have different flavor profiles and are great in some cases but OG stands its ground. Outstanding product and an awesome value at $25 dollars for 100-proof candy! Humble Opinion!

super new to bourbon (turned 21 2 months ago) and the first relatively rare bourbon I ever bought was the Ben Holladay (I live in a state with state controlled liquor stores and random limited availability across stores so they had one bottle and I snagged it) and I find it super delicious. My palate is far from refined but if you're looking for a good beginner bottled in bond that isn't evan williams and you don't mind the somewhat steeper price tag it's very good

Obviously flavor is a predominant component of ranking. All the bottles are different sizes so price/value should be considered. Jack Daniel's Bonded has two different size bottles ine the market. 700ml and 1000ml. Also some bottles are 750 ml vs 1000ml.
Ive only tried 3 EW, JD , and ET. As a mixer JD has a sweetness that smashes the other 2 with ET second. I wont buy another EWs. No way Early Times is sweeter than JD bib. I just had both with no bias. Early times had a bitterness I don't like
I am not a fan of Even Williams. Most people at my bar do not prefer it in blind tests, Early Times black cap is very good if you can find the older bottles. The Old Grandad is pretty good!

You tasted the JD Bonded and OGD and didnt say a single good thing. Even going as far as to stating the JD was your least favorite of their releases. Then you try the Ben Holladay and say nothing but good things about it TWICE and put it in dead last at the time. You even described bench mark as being simple, not a lot of complexity, not a lot going on, not a great mouthfeel and its #4 on your list. You always rave about Antique 107 being your favorite and in your weller blind would trash the weller 12 but it beat your 107 and you still kept dragging the 12 yr.
