For a singer I wouldn’t recommend…but for a rapper which I am…great mic I would recommend it to a rapper it’s rough. It’s crisp. Everything a rappers mic should have
its so smooth but sharp reminds me a lot of a telefunken ELA M 215e
Nice mic I ordered it after watching your video can you recommend me nice pre amp for this mic to pair with
API512v if you wanna build a 500 series chain. The Lindell 500 series boxes are nice to hold them as well.

I pulled the trigger on this mic but... Honestly I don't think its worth the price tag i'd pay maybe 599 or 499 but i do not think this has that 1k sound at all. This will and does give off noise the cable it came with is noisy.
How much did you drive the gain on the Preamp? Regards!

I hear too many mouth click sounds.
after testing this mic personally i wouldnt recomend this , its self noise is very high compare all the other mic i had so far, the highs are very unforgiving even with custom eq and 2 deessers still freaking crazy harsh , im returing this shit going back to rode
Though I strongly disagree we each have our own way in which we hear.. I dont think its harsh. I think the top end is perfect. Best of luck to you.
Just seen this, the “shhh” are a little bright, maybe record dry with your WA73 as preamp then negative EQ, compress, EQ low end and highs a tad. Works for me. What mic you end up getting?
