In this graphic design tutorial, we explore 2 main components of any design. We look at the graphic design principles, and then the psychological theories that govern the feelings and choices of the target audience who view the design. Together, these elements create a graphic design that is superior, when done correctly of course. This could be on a magazine cover design, a billboard or poster design, any print design, Ui/Ux design, and even logo design. It basically boils down to you the graphic designer, being competent enough to understand these 2 components, and how they fit into any graphic design project.

I understand why graphic designers might prefer the Vogue cover but it really frustrates me how so many graphic designers never seem to acknowledge accessibility needs. When I find it leaking onto websites and apps, it's a sign of a designer who hasn't understood their entire audience. I'm glad your design example at the end is already on the path to being accessible.
this!! 👏
thanks a lot!
I really wanted to get the point where you at right now. You can easily recognize any design and say something about it. Although I am teaching graphics design, I still have more design knowledge to take in to be able to tell which is which on a design and/or good versus bad. I am really thankful to follow you since 2020 when I'm bored during the pandemic.
Hey no worries.
It's just a case of having a passion for design, and giving things time to gain more experience. It boils down to simple things like does the visual language appeal to the right audience, and does the design achieve the brief goals.
@@SatoriGraphics thank you so much. I really appreciate you all the time. ✨
This channel taught me a lot as a 3d designer myself who wants to become a graphic designer.
3D design and graphic design can merge into greatness if you want them to
Great content, as always!

thanks man !
Awesome please do more of these series :)
more to come, I've just uploaded a new one now :)
Always such useful info man! I love your channel. Could you do a video like this on digital display ads? I think it would be a massive hit and would be so interesting to see the difference between beginner, intermediate, and pro display ads!
Thanks a bunch, and I'll look into that suggestion. Cheers
Wow thank u very much sir would like to see more videos on these topics as it help beginners designer like me who can't understand what is a average and a superior design difference
more to come for sure, and there are other similar videos already up on my channel 👍
Thank for sharing
no problem 👍
Awesome ❤
Love your videos. Your examples & style tends to lean very modern. I’m wondering if you can make a video of more vintage designs where these same principles are expressed effectively. I usually deal with brands that are more traditional vintage/nostalgia based and these examples don’t communicate the cozy warmth I need to communicate in their values.
Thanks Jesika.
I did consider that a lot of my content explores a more modern and minimal style of design, so I will try and explore other styles in future videos for sure, thanks
amizing work, as always man
can you please do somenthing related to "data analytics", in the near future? THANK YOU"!
Nice comparison.
cheers :))
Hi thanks for the video,

Your work is fantastic! Do you have any premium videos/articles?
Thanks a lot.
I'm launching an advanced workflow course later this month
keep going ❤
no stopping 💪
Thanks sir
All the best
Outstanding as usual! Bravado! (idk what i'm saying)😅
😂 🏅
Learning ❤
awesome to hear 👍
Can you please suggest me a laptop for graphic design currently i am learning, so i am bit confused between windows and mac , what i have to do buy a new window laptop with average configurations or at the same price buy a 2019/2020 macbook with good specifications please help in it
Thank ❤
I don't think it matters much with the pc, although most use a Mac probably because of the graphics. But as long as the space on your computer is large for saving work ...this is what I have observed so far .
go for mac, if not possible, go for ASUS TUF series
Great
The premise of the video is fantastic, but I am concerned with your choice of sponsor. In an age where us as artists are at risk of losing our work to AI, especially corporate artists like UX/UI Designers, Graphic Designers, Etc, I feel like the use of an AI tool made to fully generate a design is very very thin ice. These images are only possible due to millions of pieces of stolen artwork. As a visual artist, its absolutely something that would make me quit a job if I was expected to use something like this. These tools are built from theft. They are trained with artwork that we create, and manufactured to produce soulless recreations that the average person loves because they lack the eye for craftmenship.
Graphic Designers are the most easily replaceable in this shift towards AI, freelancers are already reaching the point where they can't compete on their usual platforms due to the influx of cheaper AI designs. UX/UI Designers too. I'm lucky I'm in Illustration where I'm valued as a craftsman, but corporate designers do not have that luxury.
Agree 100% with you.If all graphic designers refused to use these IA programs, we'd have a chance to keep our jobs in the future.
I want you to make a video on my poster, how can I send it?
i work for a company and clients we have are so demanding on things like even typography has to be something they like and its been so frustrating fill this space put it on right put it on left i don't like it put it to its original space.... and so on.... if only my country had more field for freelancer i would have loved my work
Its been 10 months since i started working here i can't even remember when was the last time i made something worthy for my portfolio
illustrator kaha se download kare please help

Sir i replied in previous video
“I have watched your graphic design principles playlist, but I am confused about how to apply those principles in my design when I start designing
Collect the pieces of your design, ie the text copy, the images, any required logos or design elements. Make a list of the principles of design you know you want to apply, ie rule of thirds, contrast, line, etc. Arrange your project pieces in the work space to follow your design principles. Last rule, know when to break the rules if it makes the design stronger (skip this step until you know how to do the first three properly without needing to think about it). I am a graphic designer and taught graphic design for a university some years ago. Best of luck to you.
@@SolipsisPassport Thanks 😊 i’ll try
Hi there
Solipsis gave a great response. But I'd like to add that it really does come down to giving yourself time to gain more experience, and having a real passion for design. The more you look critically at existing designs and try to see where principles have been used and why, the easier it becomes to use them on your projects in accordance to briefs.
@@SatoriGraphics That's why i really like you and your videos 🙂
@@SatoriGraphics Sir, please make a video on how to start designing while keeping the principles in mind.
Thanks for watching ❤
👍
Your videos are best in 1.75x speed only
interesting opinion
Can you please make the Arabic translation?
Right one is bad, you can't even read what is written on it
Idk if it’s ethical to promote AI at this time man, especially as a designer
Ai is being used by the top design agencies, and most graphic designers. It shouldn't be used to create finished designs, but it helps speed up the design process, create mockups or visualisations for clients, and so on. It's a tool, and every tool has a time and a place. Just my opinion. There is absolutely no way to go back now, the tech is out of the bag and in full bloom. Adapt and pivot, or get left behind.
Again sales AI
Extremely disappointed at the sponsorship of AI generation in this video. You were one of the people I highly looked up to that inspired me to change my career and start pursuing graphic design - and you've started encouraging people to use a tool that bastardizes art and mashes together stolen work from millions of real, human artists out there?
I'd wager that some of YOUR work is in that database as well, as stealing from creators is what made it even possible to generate such designs in the first place... It's really disappointing.
