They don’t break as easy but Motorola phones are total garbage. Compared to any flagship from Samsung or apple in the last 3 years the cameras are awful by comparison and the processors don’t even compare. Motorola are good on a budget but really can’t be compared to these phones. The reason yours didn’t break is probably due to them cheaping out and using a plastic back, apple and Samsung have to use glass for wireless charging.

Doing that even with a 2 euro case makes it almost unbreakable! I have an xs max and fell tooons of time from 1.5 meters and it looks brand new. Also my sisters s10 fell from the stairs 2.5/3 meters and it was perfectly fine thanks to the cover 😹
yeah it all depends how you drop it and in uncontrolled tests most of the time I hear horror stories about iPhones breaking from 1 foot from the ground while samsungs don't. this test proves that wrong so I think both samsungs and iphones have great durability but it depends on the situation.
