Good video, some research and work has been done but :
    - 5.44% salary for social security last time i checked it was over 11% with pension and assurance dependance) included.
    - And we are over 630000 people in Luxembourg not 540000.
    - 30 days of snow per year, maybe in the 1980s but not in 2020 (barely a week)
    - 3800 dollars per month that is national average not city average (which is higher)
    - The banks are responsible for roughly one third of the economy not the majority.
    - Dental treatments are not fully covered (just the minimum) hence you need private insurances to have full dental cover and have the best possible dental repairs.
    - Luxembourgish is not a mix of French and German but a variant of a German dialect Moselfränkisch.
    - The 3 official languages are the languages of administration (by law of 1984)
    - the night life is growing ??? actually compared to 2000-2010 it is shrinking (Kirchberg bar and clubs closing, less bigger events, less people at bars and clubs). People even go outside the City or other neighbouring countries cities sometimes or make home parties (pre-covid).
    - Hollerich developping to a spot for nightlife ? The contrary it's true, ask anyone who knew the Marx bar, Light Bar, Chocolate Elvis bar times, even the Atelier concerts were way more crowded. Hollerich (all 3 parallel streets) is now a place of higher crimes and way less crowded bars and lot of unfinished construction.
    Cheers, continue the good work.

If your looking for a decent sized 1 bed apart close to the city then be prepared to pay up to 2k per month😳😱 if you can find something small for under 1500euros your doing well. Top tip, if your thinking of commuting, don’t choose France to live, Germany is way better.

@@ursulayaghoobpoor9157 well here are some positive aspects
      -free transportation
-high salaries (well at least in the most competitive business banks, lawyers, gouvernment..)
-you can survive easily in the city with english, outside some basic french is recommended
      Negatives:
If you don't like the superinternational atmosphere where everyone litterally comes from a different corner, you know people feel kinda unsecure since they aren't from here, then Luxem. Isn't the right place
-we have extrem high rents, if you are a singlr person 800 EUR is the absolut minimum for a room.
-people are very kinda suck in their communities
-the mentality here is work, work and work
But of course you find easy minded people in some areas like in techno clubs or second hand clubs, even if this is "just" a social aspect I think I changes a lot...
Anyway it's kinda hard to explain everything detailed but if you are really interested in sociology and economy I mean to understand Luxembourg better feel free to add me on insta @kretzjang

Great video however have to disagree that there are much more French and Belgians who live cross border or have dual citizenship..Luxemburg is nightmare to live....looks great on paper but day to day is a struggle...I call it the 3 Bs: Boring, backwards and basic. Basic as in you dont get much and everything is very very limited and basic. Food. Shopping. Housing. etc. You need to speak French to get by or learn Luxembourgish which is making a come back. Only recommended way to move there is if you work for a big bank that will help you relocate.

According to that hearsay and it says there're several ways for a foreigner to immigrate to Luxembourg, such as----to create a self-employee company or to create a company with partnership or to gain annual interests over 23000 euros by a deposited bank or study in Luxembourg or to be hired as a coach or to be hired as a high technician.....etc., Because I'm a 61year-old retired person.I'm not sure if those above hearsays are exactly right ? it is NOT a mixture of anything , there is a large number of French spoken borderers and French spoken residents, the culture is Germanic and so is the language . The traffic jams are a result of low employment in neighbouring countries and higher wages which attracts roughly 160000 crossborder workers on a daily basis.
Luxemburgish is NOT a mixture of anything , it is Moselle -Franconian that has been "polluted" by foreign words , just like English is riddled with French words (post Norman invasion influence)
Please contact Luxemburgers for proper and correct information instead of just reading info you found online
